If you want camping with some comforts and really are itching to stay in a dome, by all means stay here! We had a decent time, however we won’t be staying again. Our pros- -It’s a cool experience -It really feels like you’re out in nature -the kitchenette is a nice little addition Our cons- -I don’t mind bugs, but I do mind huge spiderwebs at the “ceiling” of the dome-right over the bed- where spiders start moving once the lights start to dim for the night. -the shower in our dome was set up oddly so basically the water didn’t stay in the shower. We just had to be careful when walking in the bathroom afterwards because the floor was slick for a few hours -we were hoping to be able to hang for a bit in the evening inbetween activities but it was quite hot before the sun went down. However we did stay in mid August so it was pretty hot out.

Our family stayed here for two nights in June 2026 as part of a family roadtrip to Colorado and New Mexico. The river dome had pros and cons for us. First the good things: 1. Clean. Easily one of the cleanest places we stayed during our road trip. Much appreciated. 2. Novelty of the dome. A unique and memoable experience. 3. Plenty of parking room for our oversized vehicle. 4. Fire pit. We loved it and welcomed the nighttime stars each night by the fire pit (which is an easy button start). Now the cons: 1. There is no river view. At least not for the domes at the southern end. We were in dome 13. The view looks at scrub brush. I'll add a pic to this review. Very disappointed with this outcome for "river" domes. 2. The ladder to the loft bed, which our kiddo used, is straight vertical. No slant at all. Looks fine from floor as you look up, but a bit intimidating coming down and going over the edge without clear sight lines to the first step. 3. Traffic noise. It didnt prevent sleep - we were tired after daily adventures. But, we could clearly hear 18 wheelers use Jake brakes as they slowed coming into town. 3. Price. Our summer season price after all taxes and fees was over $300 a night. The total package is not worth this price. We would not stay here again.
This was the first time I have ever stayed in a dome and it was truly such a cool experience. The rooms were spotless and quiet and had lots of cool features in the room. The view from the dome and the quiet made the whole experience so relaxing and unique. Great experience.
It's a dome! Located at the entrance to pagosa proper you aren't to far from stores and shops and activities in town. Nice river views. The dome had everything you could need, kitchenette with large fridge, 2 burner stove, all the kitchenware to cook a nice meal Bathroom with shower worth modern style. Comfortable bed, stylish furnishings. A hammock and fire pit on the deck perfect for enjoying outdoor relaxation. It was a great spot. Would recommend if you are looking for something different than a standard hotel room experience.
Just outside Pagosa Springs. On the river. A bit of highway noise but still nice to be close to the river. There is no room cleaning service but you can ask for new towels. The amenities in the room are very nice, fridge freezer, two burner electric stove, pots, pans, utensils, toaster, microwave, wifi, jbl flip speaker, gas grill and outdoor fire place. Nice bathroom with shower. The second loft bed is difficult to climb for little kids under 10 and does not offer a kid proof railing once on top. Our kids were 13 and 10, so they did enjoy the loft area.
