My stay at this hotel was a great experience! The hotel is actually quite nice, and I stayed in Room 175. The room was spacious enough for me and included a refrigerator and a hotel robe, which were nice added touches. During my first two nights, I didn’t hear much outside noise. On Friday night, I could hear cars and their music when it was loud, but it wasn’t a major issue for me. I also had breakfast at Harry’s, and it was delicious! One morning, I tried the Magnolia Breakfast, and on another day, I had the breakfast parfait. Both were amazing! I really appreciated the thoughtful complimentary amenities the hotel offers, including unlimited bottled water and free coffee and tea in the mornings. They also offer milk and cookies from 8 PM to 10 PM, which is a nice evening treat. The hotel even has live entertainment, adding to the overall experience. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the comfortable room, delicious breakfast options, and thoughtful extras that made the visit even more enjoyable.

The Rosen School of Hospitality could use The Magnolia Hotel as a case study. The hotel staff is elite. From check in to room needs, the staff was rapidly responsive and always friendly. I would also like to recognize Abe S. who gifted me with not only a room upgrade without a request and also a quality snack courtesy of The Magnolia. Excellent excellent hotel.
I love this hotel! The historic highlights that play tribute to its history as a bank (vaults and old safety deposit boxes on display), paired with modern, design make it a wonderful boutique hotel experience. The downtown location is also super convenient, and I love touches like its onsite library in partnership with a local bookstore. Highly recommend!
I had an excellent experience during my stay, highlighted by a warm and welcoming interaction with Shanleigh at the front desk. As a Titanium Elite member, I was recognized and graciously upgraded, which made a great first impression. Shanleigh also took the time to inform me about lobby amenities, including freshly baked cookies available at a set time, along with other perks I could take advantage of during my stay. The room itself was clean, well-decorated, and offered great views of the city. Given that the property is a historic building, I expected some signs of aging or the typical older-building scent, but I was pleasantly surprised that none of that was present. The overall atmosphere felt fresh and well-maintained. The only issue that kept this from being a five-star stay was the Wi-Fi. As a remote worker, reliable internet is essential, and I ran into consistent errors when trying to access the upgraded connection. While this was frustrating, it did not completely overshadow an otherwise very enjoyable stay. Overall, I would rate my experience 4 out of 5 stars and would gladly stay here again
Really great experience staying here for one night. The building is beautiful. Room was clean and bedding high quality. I loved the shampoo/conditioner. Coffee in the lobby in the morning was delicious. Location was next to the D train which was perfect to take us back to our car in Englewood so we could get home quickly in the morning. Overall great experience and the price was by far cheapest than any other downtown hotel for that night.
