We stayed here for one night while visiting Breckenridge, and overall, the hotel itself is very cute and in an excellent location. The downstairs/lobby area is elegant, and the coffee shop is great. The hotel is also very dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us. Our room was clean overall, although the floors could have used a little more attention to detail. The hallways are also very heavily scented. I personally prefer that over a musty hotel smell, but the fragrance is definitely noticeable if you’re sensitive to scents. Where the experience really fell short was the parking and valet situation. Valet is the only option, and the hotel entrance shares a very small, congested area with the entrance/exit to a public/hotel parking garage. On the morning we left, there were also pastry and vendor vans arriving for the whiskey festival while hotel guests and the public were simultaneously trying to enter and exit the garage. When the valet brought our Jeep around, it was parked off to the side near where vehicles were actively entering and exiting. We still needed time to load our belongings and our dogs, and the whole area was so congested that I ended up getting yelled at by two other drivers while trying to load the car. I really wish the valet had used better judgment about where to leave our vehicle, especially considering we clearly still needed to load up. It made for a pretty unpleasant end to our stay. The front desk experience was also disappointing. There was a taller gentleman with longer brown hair who seemed completely disengaged. He didn’t acknowledge or assist anyone while we were there and instead appeared to be watching videos on his phone. It wasn’t exactly the level of hospitality you’d expect from a hotel charging these rates. The biggest surprise came at checkout. Despite staying only one night, we ended up with roughly another $120 in resort, pet, and valet fees. I understand that Breckenridge hotels come with additional fees, especially when traveling with dogs, but combined with the room rate, it adds up quickly. The mandatory valet is particularly inconvenient if you’re visiting Breck to hike or do activities where you plan on getting your vehicle multiple times throughout the day. There are definitely things to like here: it’s attractive, clean overall, has a great location, a nice coffee shop, and is more accommodating to dogs than many other properties. Unfortunately, between the additional fees, mandatory valet setup, chaotic departure experience, and lackluster front desk service, I’m not sure we’d choose to stay here again.

This review is as fresh as can be as I’m laying in bed in our Trailblazer King suite. Since check in we have had an awful experience. This was our first time in Breckenridge and at Gravity Haus. 1- don’t expect any greeting or direction upon arrival. We parked at valet stand and no one was there, walked in checked in and they gave key cards and said they would text me for valet. No welcome, no directions to our room, literally nothing else. 2 - we are in room 320 Trailblazer, upon walking in there were three flys buzzing around and room was hot. 3 - we are traveling with a baby and specifically booked this room as it had two rooms with doors inside. - after getting baby asleep after travel day we come to find out the right side door doesn’t even shut, latch is broken, SUPER ANNOYING. Had to wake baby up and switch rooms. 4 - left door with working latch happens to be the squeakiest door in Colorado. Fix the dang doors guys! 5 - both side rooms have a tiny maybe 10 inch fan circulating air so in essence these tiny rooms become extremely hot and stuffy. Horrible option for a sleeping baby!! Door becomes useless, choose noise level over temperature. 6 - speaking of noise, freaking barking dogs in the hallway with owners who have zero respect or courtesy. Also, as I’m laying here fighting this review about every 8 minutes some door shuts on the floor and slams shut. Slamming doors all night is all I forsee in my future! 7 - a primary reason we booked this hotel was for the reviews for the restaurant and the food options available. Come to find out it was closed for a private event……cool, so glad we planned for a nice dinner at the hotel. So long story short, would I stay here for free……No Would I pay the exorbitant amount for the room and parking for below sub par service and quality…….hell no…….never again.
I was floored by how sound traveled through the door and walls of our room. We could hear every word from other guests in the hallway and in the room next to us, which was incredibly disturbing considering I booked this as a "luxury" experience. This gave the feel of a hostel environment rather than a luxury hotel. Additionally, when a guest in the room above us would walk around their room, I was physically bouncing on our bed from the vibration. I have NEVER experienced anything like this at any hotel I've stayed at before. I was shocked that our mattress felt as though it were filled with springs, so my husband and I slept horribly. All in all, I am incredibly disappointed that I booked Gravity Haus to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I noted in my booking that it was our anniversary and would appreciate any special touches. There were no efforts made on this front. Even a simple note or mention from the staff at check in would have been appreciated. Additionally, with only one person staffing the front desk, I did not feel welcomed to the property. She was clearly frazzled and all but shoved the room key at me so she could continue her work as the valet. Not the experience I paid for when booking Gravity Haus. This stay was underwhelming and disappointing on virtually all fronts. One aspect we did enjoy was the hot tub area and well stocked gym.
Gravity Haus Breckenridge is a great stay! You are walking distance to everything! Their hotel has a great vibe. I highly recommend eating at Cabin Juice. Their breakfast is especially good!! The pillows were great, which is a major detail for me! The facility is clean and they have great in room snack/drink options for very reasonable prices. We would stay here again! Thank you.
We purposely chose this hotel for its location on an off-season weekend. The location is very walkable to a lot of bars, restaurants, and shops. The hotel room (trail blazer) was perfect with its multiple beds, including two beds in their own “rooms.” Well stocked mini bar/fridge. A small fridge but no microwave. The view was lovely from the room, the hvac system kept us cool, and the blackout shades were a nice touch. You are charged 50$/day for *required* valet parking, which is a pain, but the valet was quick and kind both times we retrieved our car. The hot tubs (3 of them in an outside space), and the sauna were so lovely. We were also charged a “resort fee” for this amenity.
