Awesome accommodating people working here! Extraordinary for a hotel running at $200ish a night. Had a delayed flight and arrived late; car was taken care of and valet tickets slipped under the door; requested sanitary items delivered in 5min. Breakfast staff greet guests w/ names from hotel room lists, warm and welcoming- literally from everyone. Well exceeds expectations.

Rooms are nice and clean. Hotel is in a decent location. Staff was all very nice. We had some drinks one night at the hotel bar and they were good. I’m giving a 3/5 ⭐️ because of 2 things: 1. They charge $55 p/ day for hotel guest parking. I wouldn’t categorize this hotel as “cheap,” so to then pay $55 a day is excessive. Look up some places near by that charge significantly less than the hotel if you will be parking. 2. There are no convenient stores near by and the CVS and Walgreens that is in walking distance close early. It seems because of this, they charge $8 for a water bottle in the hotel store. Truly insane.
Nice locale, clean. Staff sometimes helpful, but not always. Always polite though. AC in public areas was struggling. Didn't seem to want to liaison well with attended convention. Like they seemed to be politely tolerant but not thrilled. Stayed during con. Room was overpriced but clean and things there worked. No microwave tho? Like that was annoying. As was their little store of stupidly overpriced snacks and water and caffeine and meds. Con couldn't sell food because the hotel did- but- they had limited variety, it was over priced and a tiny place. Couldn't remotely handle the traffic, made me more annoyed at the hotel.
A pretty nice stay in downtown Denver, but bathroom flooding and short staffing made for some challenges. We wanted to stay someplace central in Denver and at a Hyatt property, so we picked the Grand Hyatt as it had the best reviews. I do think that if you’re redeeming Hyatt points it’s a decent value, but a cash price of over $500 a night during the summer… absolutely not. Pros: - Fairly spacious and clean rooms with comfortable Hyatt beds. - Five, fast elevators so very little wait to get to your room. - Cafe on site with well made “proudly brewed” Starbucks and quick grab drinks (although very expensive). - Housekeeping staff were A+++, very kind, and made sure to leave us water each day. Our housekeeping on the 19th floor was amazing. Cons: - Our bathroom in 1923 literally flooded in the early hours of the morning on July 6th 2026. We woke up and thought the shower was running, and we woke up to our sink FILLING with water from the drain, and gushing over the counter and onto the floor, flooding the room with about 1-2 inches of water and getting all of our belongings soaked, including makeup brushes and toiletry bags. It stopped shortly after we noticed it. We called to the lobby who got the hotel service man to come up and vacuum up all of the water. Then housekeeping brought replacement towels. Not a great way to start the day… there was no mention of this from the front desk, no curtsey call to our room, and they didn’t even ask how our 4 night stay was when we checked out. This was WILD to me considering I’ve never had a sink back up with water and flood a bathroom. - Checkout took a while at 4:30 PM, when there was only one person working the front desk and no one at the bellman desk to claim our bags. It took about 20 minutes to wait for the bellman (who was playing double duty as valet), then go to the front desk to call the bellman, then to get the bellman to arrive at the desk to claim our bags. They need more front of house staff. I may recommend just choosing a smaller boutique hotel outside of downtown. For the price it didn’t feel like other Grand Hyatts (Hong Kong, Taipei, San Antonio, etc.) I have stayed in terms of service.
We spent three nights - very comfortable room, clean, incredibly soft towels. Special mention to friendly and efficient staff. I forgot my purse in the restaurant with important documents and money. I was going crazy but Antonio, working at the restaurant that night, kept the purse for me, safe and sound. This speaks volume about the staff and the hotel.
