This hotel falls far short of any 5 star rating. I had daily issues with housekeeping not cleaning our room. It also seems they don't clean rooms until after 4, but if you have an issue, they are gone at 5. When I brought this up to staff they couldn't care and seemed annoyed by my questioning it. The website says cleaning daily, but apparently, it's only every other day and they change bed sheets every three days. After bringing up the website mentioning daily housekeeping the response I got was 'Thanks for teaching me' and she proceeded to take a phone call. I also brought this to the attention of the hotel manager and he assured me the room would be cleaned first thing in the morning. This 'cleaning' was emptying the trash and replacing towels in the bathroom. Nothing was wiped down and sheets weren't changed on the beds. I emailed him, since he said to notify him of any other issues and never heard back. My wife noted she never heard a vacuum during our entire stay, and when you look around, it shows. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free.

Stayed here for the foco fondo. When we arrived and went up to our room someone else was in it. They issued us a new room with no issues and gave us a complimentary breakfast. The room was clean and had a comfy bed, however we kept hearing loud clicking noises through the night. Tried out the breakfast and it’s fine if it’s free but if I had to actually pay the $24 I would’ve been upset given there was pretty much nothing except sausage and eggs, no waffles or pancakes.
We recently stayed at the Fort Collins Marriott during a softball tournament. The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff members we interacted with were friendly, professional, and pleasant throughout our stay. Unfortunately, several issues made this an overall disappointing experience, especially considering the price. The biggest challenge was that there was only one functioning elevator for what appeared to be a sold-out hotel. During peak times, elevator waits were often close to 20 minutes. When you’re traveling with a softball team and trying to keep players and families on a tight tournament schedule, this became incredibly frustrating. Parking was also a major issue. There simply wasn’t enough parking for a sold-out tournament weekend, and many guests had to park in an adjoining lot behind the hotel about 200 yards from the entrance. There should be a better overflow option in place when you know the hotel is going to be full for a tournament. Having agreements with the businesses that were closed during this holiday weekend to allow guests to park closer would have been nice. Instead, we were threatened with being towed if we parked there. The hotel also advertised a grab-and-go breakfast option for tournament participants. While we appreciated the effort, the execution fell far short of expectations. The breakfast sandwiches were extremely dry and essentially inedible. Fruit options were very limited, and the only consistently edible items were the prepackaged cereal and milk. Given the number of athletes staying at the hotel, it would have been helpful to offer options such as yogurt, oatmeal, quick egg dishes, pancakes, or other simple breakfast items that families could grab before heading to the fields. We were also disappointed that our request to check out a day early was denied, while several families staying at other nearby hotels reported being accommodated with early departures. In addition, housekeeping did not service our room until approximately 5:00 p.m., which made it difficult to return to the room and prepare for evening activities. For the premium price we paid, we expected a much more family-friendly and tournament-focused experience. Other hotels in the area appeared to offer more accommodations and family perks at a significantly lower cost. While the hotel was clean and the staff was kind, the overall value simply wasn’t there for us. Unfortunately, we will be choosing a different hotel for next year’s tournament.
DO NOT STAY HERE FOR THE SPARKLER This is legitimately the worst service I’ve ever seen at a hotel. We are here for the Sparkler softball tourney. They advertise great common areas, and it is a really nice area…Except you can’t use it unless you’re buying their food or from the bar. I watched management tell a group of teen girls they couldn’t stand in the lobby with their outside drinks!?!?! There are “no outside food or drinks” signs everywhere. Their garbage cans are overflowing in the front of the building. An elevator has been down most of the trip. We haven’t had our room cleaned in three days. Their breakfast is minimal to say the least. Check in was a pain in the neck. My wife booked the room under my name linked to her Bonvoy account. We still had to call her “to confirm.” As if calling someone on the phone couldn’t be just anyone. This place needs to focus more on hospitality and less on making their beautiful hotel useless to its guests. If you don’t want softball teams congregating in your common areas, do not be a partner for the Colorado Sparkler. DO NOT STAY HERE for the Sparkler
Lovely hotel. Beautiful and comfortable lobby with full bar and a restaurant. Diane does a great job at the coffee bar and will do her best to make your request. Elevators were slow and water pressure was a little low. Otherwise, the rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. The gym was awesome too. Overall a wonderful hotel.
