Doubletree By Hilton Denver International Airport

I stayed at this hotel for a conference, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. For the first time ever, I was yelled at by hotel staff for bringing in outside food. Even more concerning, one of my colleagues has dietary restrictions and was also yelled at by staff simply for ordering DoorDash. Regardless of the hotel’s policies, there are professional and respectful ways to communicate them—being yelled at by staff is not one of them. To make matters worse, the hotel’s restaurant was incredibly disappointing. Given the quality of the food and the way guests were treated, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. Hilton’s stated mission is “to be the most hospitable company in the world.” Unfortunately, the DoubleTree near DIA seemed to have forgotten the “hospitable” part. The experience fell far short of the level of service and hospitality one would expect from the Hilton brand—and certainly from the legacy Conrad Hilton established. If you’re looking for a hotel and conference space in the area, there are much better options, including The Woolley, Hyatt Place, Hyatt Regency, Marriott, and Embassy Suites. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel for conferences or stays. There are plenty of other options nearby that take guest experience and hospitality much more seriously!

The rooms are clean, but the elevators seem to hit something in the shaft on the way up which makes a person feel uncomfortable. The WiFi is horrible, and even cellular data signal is weak in the hotel so don’t plan on doing any work or communicating when staying here. The restaurant is always out of coffee and cups, the service is slow and prices are very expensive for what you get. I’ll stay somewhere else next time near the Denver airport, the complimentary shuttle was convenient.

Smells and feels clean when you walk in! 10mins from the airport is always amazing! Shuttle to airport also amazing! Staff is very friendly and helpful! They’ll hold your luggage before checkin and after check out if you want to explore around. Room was clean and a nice size, we enjoyed our stay.

We are currently staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton on Tower Road, and this is our second stay at this property. Unfortunately, the rooms are not what we would expect for the price being charged, and the overall cleanliness is below what should be expected from a hotel in this price range. After checking in today and being in the room for only a few minutes, we found a folding knife on the floor near one of the beds. This immediately made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. If the floor had been properly vacuumed or inspected, it seems unlikely that something like that would have been missed. We took the knife to the front desk and gave it to the desk clerk. We were told that a manager would contact us to discuss the situation, but that never happened. This experience was very disappointing, especially because it appears to reflect a lack of attention to detail by housekeeping and a lack of follow-up from management. This will be our last stay at this property, particularly since there are cleaner and better-maintained options available along Tower Road.
