A very informative tour of Colonia, with historical insights tied to the steps you walk and buildings you walk by. You can imagine what life was like for the settlers and residents of history.

I’m glad I booked this tour over the one that can be booked from the ferry terminal building. There were so many people on those tours. This was much more intimate and our guide was so lovely and knowledgeable. She even helped me book a taxi with her trusted taxi driver so I wouldn’t miss my ferry. Highly recommend.

I took a quick day trip from Buenos Aires to Colonia, and this walking tour was the perfect way to spend my time and get to know the city. Lilli was a wonderful guide — her English was excellent, and she shared so much history and fascinating curiosities about Colonia’s Old Town. Despite the rain, she kept the tour engaging and fun, and even gave us great lunch recommendations afterward. The tour covered all the highlights, including the Field Gate, Calle de los Suspiros, the lighthouse, the yacht harbor, and the Basilica. At about 1.5 hours, it was the right balance of informative and enjoyable without feeling rushed. Colonia is such a picturesque and welcoming city, and this tour made my visit even more memorable. I highly recommend this experience, especially with Lilli as your guide!

Lili was an amazing tour guide. She really went out of her way to explain the history but to connect it to the why. She pointed out all the little details of city and really helps you understand the cultural significance of the area and the town. She even explained pieces that when speaking to others back home who had done a trip to the town before had not known. She’s filled with insights and the town is wonderful. I ended up being the only one signed up for an early morning tour, and I had Lili as my private guide! Her English is impeccable and the tour was fascinating. As a longtime resident of Uruguay and previously of Argentina, she is so knowledgeable in the history of Colonia and its neighboring countries - I left the tour feeling like I truly understood the significance of the quaint town and how it was a historical crossroads of the region. I spent the rest of my day exploring with all of Lili's tips in mind :) What a wonderful start to my day!

We felt right at home with our super knowledgeable guide Lili. We had some technical difficulties due to a typo I made and she still went out of her way to help us. She also was also able to manage our mixed language group with ease. Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our tour with Lili which lasted 2 hours. We learned a bunch and found the tour very interesting. She weaved in the history, architecture, geography of the area, and much more. Bad Lighthouse was closed Guide never showed up at Basilica Sacramento I was there 10 minutes early and the guide was a no-show. Waited 20 minutes.

We took this tour with my wife on a weekend in September. Liliana is very kind and fun on her tour. She spares no dedication. We spent almost two hours with her on a tour intended to be done in one hour, because we couldn't stop chatting, asking questions, and stopping everywhere. We were even staying in a historic house from 1720, and upon finding out, she offered to explain construction details to us, because she knew that house perfectly. Liliana is very enthusiastic and lovable. We recommend her. We didn't lack the desire to invite her to lunch to keep chatting, but it would have been too much.
