We have a friend in Uruguay and cannot wait to return. Andres made our visit unforgettable. He had so much to share about the wines and food and local culture and history. We visited Pueblo Tannat and El Legado. Both were beautiful places, with great wine and delicious food. Much smaller than a California experience, which I preferred. Andres made some very fun videos for us and even a special stop at a Carmelo museum. First class experience, felt like family. Highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing day with Andrés exploring Colonia and visiting the Fripp Winery. Colonia is beautiful and Andrés filled our visit with stories about its history as well as personal stories about growing up there and the local culture. The winery was beautiful, even in winter, and we enjoyed a tour and a fantastic lunch with paired wines. Andrés looked after us the whole day making our tour really personal and fun, it was like being shown around a small part of Uruguay by a good friend. Can’t recommend this tour and Andrés highly enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My mother and I had the pleasure of joining Andrés for the Silex Tours: Wine, History and Culture in Colonia del Sacramento, and it was truly spectacular from beginning to end. Andrés is incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and passionate about both the region’s history and its wines. He created such a welcoming atmosphere that it felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with a friend who knows everything about Colonia. The balance of history, culture, and wine was perfect. Andrés shared fascinating stories about Colonia while guiding us through beautiful places we would never have discovered on our own. And the wine… my mother summed it up perfectly when she said it was stunning. Every tasting felt thoughtfully chosen and gave us a wonderful introduction to Uruguayan wines. This experience will remain one of the highlights of our trip. My mother and I will be talking about this day for years to come. Thank you, Andrés, for such a memorable and special experience. Andrés was a wonderful guide for our exploration of Colonia del Sacramento! We took a day trip from Buenos Aires, and Andrés was waiting for us right as the ferry arrived! He was very knowledgeable and were able to experience the beauty and history of the city. The day trip was exactly as expected and left a great impression of Uruguay with our group! Additionally, Andrés went above and beyond. My brother's girlfriend became sick and remained in Buenos Aires; we thought at first we would have to cancel when we arrived. While we did not, Andrés was very understanding and offered help with the ferries and even provide guidance on how to seek care in Buenos Aires. Definitely would recommend!

We absolutely loved our visit to Uruguay! We had such great conversation with our guide where he really took his time answering all of our questions, explaining the local landscape and culture! He was a delight! The wineries were gorgeous with wonderful wine and our meal was exquisite! Every detail of this tour was amazing and I would highly recommend this company! It was a lovey day spent! And with extra kindness the guide allowed me time to stop to buy my son a soccer jersey he wanted! Above and beyond!

We loved out wine tour with Andrés. He was on time, friendly and kind. He went out of his way take us to a wonderful wood sculpture workshop on the way to the winery. The winery itself was a very historic and beautiful venue. The wine tour was very interesting, the wine itself was excellent and the food and hospitality was amazing. Then Andrés kindly helped us manage a transportation issue we had for the next day. He is everything one might want in a tour guide and knows the places to go! We highly recommend him.

We were in Buenos Aires and decided to take a day trip to Uruguay for a winery tour. We took the ferry across the river and were met by our guide at the port. We drove through the beautiful countryside and arrived at the winery. It was a small intimate family owned operation which made it all the more special. Our host Andres was great and we thouroughly enjoyed the fantastic food and wine, beautiful views and company! I highly recommend the Uruguay wine tour adventure!

Honestly I'd give this 6 stars if I could. We had an excellent tour with Andres. Flawless English, with a deep knowledge of his country's history, and of course, its wine. We spent a blissful few hours hanging out at a beautiful winery, meeting the winemakers, sampling the products, and chatting. Salud Andres!

We had such an amazing tour experience with Andres! This was definitely a tour we will remember forever. He had such a strong passion for the history of Uruguay and it really came though. He was also able to keep up with our crazy group and kept everything on time which was super important since we had to cross back into Argentina. We had our tour in English and I was very impressed with his level.

Good option for those who already know Cologne and are looking to do some different activity- Our guide Andrés received us at the Cologne terminal and took us to the boutique winery Pueblo Tannat, and we were offered a tour and a tasting. The best thing about the tour was definitely Andrés' guide, who always took care of us having a nice experience. He gave us a lot of information for our trip, answered our doubts and was a great company during the trip to the winery.

The tour meets expectations: a small group trip from Cologne to Carmel to learn about the history of the wine region along the way and, in a winery (in our case, Pueblo Tannat), learn about the artisanal production process and then taste virtually all the wines that are bottled there. We had the privilege of visiting this winery during its annual vintage event, and it was simply gorgeous! From the beginning, our guide, Andrés, was a real charmer: he explained with passion and clarity everything about the harvest process, the history of the place and the wines produced there.
