I write this at 2:30am since I can’t sleep at all as it seems that the city government of Colonia del Sacramento doesn’t care about tourists and allows their citizens to use streets as race tracks. Seems that it’s extremely cheap to buy and install EXTREMELY LOUD mufflers in this city and neither the policy or the representatives care about this problem. The hotel owners should do something for the wellbeing of the tourists, as I really don’t know how someone can sleep with all this noise
Did not dazzle me! This hotel is insanely loud, its like sleeping next to an F1 track, motorcycles race by all night, got no sleep. Walked out on the second night and paid for another hotel. They also have kitchenettes and no cooking utensils to speak of. One of the loudest hotels I've ever experienced.
Nice and quiet place to spend some days. We took a 74m2 room for 3 people, the room was comfortable, except for the shower that was too narrow. The people at the restaurant is very kind but the menu has very few options to choose. The pool is nice but the water is too cold. The entrance of the hotel lacks the usual place to stop the car near the reception desk to unload the luggage from the car, instead you must go to the back parking and that makes the loading and unloading of the luggage very uncomfortable. The cleaning off the room was ok, and the hotel building is new. We spent 4 nice days at the hotel. We like it, probably we will return in the near future. But not in winter. We think that in winter this hotel could be too cold to stay.
Spacious room with an amazing view. Sunrise and sunsets are special. Nice pool and great amenities.
I’m not normally one to leave negative reviews, but this hotel cannot possibly be 4-stars. It was at best, a 2-star. I was supposed to have a view of the golf course, but I didn’t. The room wasn’t entirely clean. It smelled horribly. The shower wouldn’t get hot. The lock system for the doors was strange - I almost felt like I was in a “Motel 6” or something. The front desk wasn’t overly nice or helpful either, except for one woman, whose name I can’t remember. I would NOT recommend this place! I almost packed up to head back to BA early because I didn’t want to spend the night. And, as far as being 4 stars, that’s beyond deceiving.
