There some good sights to see but limited in number. We got around all of them in two hours which left us time for shopping. I did not that so I finished early.

We had a great trip around Colombo with „Colombo Tuk Tuk”. Fast and easy communication on WhatsApp, quick agreement on the date and timing as well as the route. The driver was on time, he was professional (driving well and safely through the town). The trip fully met our expectations as we wanted to visit Colombo without any „fancy” things and survive 3h ride with small kids. In addition the price for the service was reasonable for a family (per hour) in comparison to other offers (per person and per hour).
Very good driver who could speak good English and was very informative.Would definitely recommend him and the Tuk Tuk tour!
An excellent driver and a great day. Our driver gave us lots of options with either venues where we could do photo stops or we could go inside and spend a little longer. We visited a lot of different places, which we loved! We went to 2 shops, one was a jewellery shop but that wasn’t on our agenda, and a souvenir shop with quality souvenirs. This was much more up our street. We both agree it was a 5 star day and we would definitely recommend it to everyone.
We had a great driver who gave us great options of where we wanted to see and when we got to each place he would have some information on the place and we’d have options to go inside or take photos and carry on. It was a wonderful experience! I rate our experience 5*****! There was an option to buy jewels or souvenirs at the end of our tour, we didn’t want jewels but we loved the souvenir shop. Overall I rate our driver and our trip most highly and would recommend them to anyone who wants to see Colombo, in a wonderfully enjoyable way!
Ronnie took us to some great spots including a Hindu temple where we were the only ones witnessing their 6:00pm rituals. Very special.
Great communication with Mack Tours and our guide/driver Ronny prior to excursion. It was easy to find each other at our meeting place. Ronny was very friendly and did well to understand the main things we wanted to see as well as showing us special sites in Colombo - like the Lotus tower. We really enjoyed the Tuk tuk, Ronny, and the personal attention. Thank you for a wonderful tour. Highly recommend.
Ronny was an excellent driver, knew all the spots to see and allowed us the right amount of space to explore. Top marks for a great tour.
This is really a personalized taxi service without site information. The itinerary is excellent, visiting many key sites, and is flexible. The allotted time on some sites is tight, resulting in feeling rushed at times. One suggestion is to avoid starting too late. I suggested following the itinerary in reverse due to site closing times. The driver agreed but then dropped me at another site, telling me where he'd pick me up. When I went to the pick-up site, he wasn't there. After 15 minutes of waiting and texting, he finally showed and told me we couldn't visit the previously discussed reversed last site because they were closing soon. An hour had been planned for this site during this 4-hour outing. I was told to see it on my own. The same drop-off and not returning to the designated spot happened a couple more times. I finally directed him to the final sites, mainly temples, I wanted to see and ditched a few since it was now too dark to see them. We still had an hour to go, so he suggested shopping. Considering the diappearing, I honestly was concerned that I wouldn't be able to find him amongst the crowds on a Saturday night in a busy shopping area. The second suggestion is that the driver needs to stay put. Third, allow the customer to select their key places to see and 3-4 sites they're okay if they miss since the itinerary is very busy. I saw the key temples I wanted, but the process was frustrating at times.
We liked that we saw places and we had a tour inside the city of Colombo. We saw the harbour, the skyscrapers, the beach , some temples and a little bit of the market , Unfortunately it started to rain . The negative of that experience is that really expensive compare to what offered you , the guide didn’t speak good English so he couldn’t explain us many things .
Our tuk tuk tour was wonderful. We had Raja for our tour guide. He planned the tour to be able to hit all the spots we wanted to see and suggested more. We had a great time and ended our tour feeling like we knew the city better.
Our Tour Driver, Robbie, was punctual, knew rhe itinerary and the best way to navigate the intense traffic while keeping us on schedule. He shared basic info that was helpful. His English was understandable. Our 4 hours flew by quickly. We had limited time for each stop but it was enough.
The tour was everything I wanted. With a pickup in Negombo, the sightseeing went from 9:00 AM to 3:20 PM (including transit time). We saw four temples, colonial buildings, parks, and had as much time as we needed in the National Museum. Except for the museum, all entrance fees were included. We never could have seen all of this without MACK travel. Highly recommend!
Brilliant way to see a bit of Colombo and some of the highlights, and get your bearings when you first arrive. Raja, my Tuk Tuk guy was great. Informative and friendly as well as allowing what time you needed in places. Picked up from hotel on time and dropped back after. It's a great way to see this amazing city. Highly recommend.
Excellent tour with very informative guide. The tour took in many great sites around Colombo on a 3 hour tour. Ronnie our guide was a safe and informative guide.
We really enjoyed this tour, as we got to see most of the iconic attractions, lovely temples and the beautiful Red Mosque of Colombo. Raj was very professional and attentive, giving us enough time to see and enjoy the sites. Definitely worth doing and highly recommended.
Raja was a great guide and gave lots of information and details about the different stops. A great way to see the city - especially as a solo traveller.
Our guide was on time and kept us informed the whole trip. We were in awe of seeing the temples, markets, people and traffic .
The traffic was terrible but our driver did a good job maneuvering the Tuk Tuk through the city. The exhaust fumes were a bit much but that's just the city. We visited 2 Hindu Temples and 1 Buddhist Temple. The driver asked us where we wanted to go and took us to all the important places.
Our 4 hour tour was a wonderful introduction to Sri Lanka- so many amazing sights. Our guide Ronnie was a very friendly and helpful guide. He was a most responsible driver. This tour and Ronnie are thoroughly recommended.
Great day.driver experienced-got us back to ship in good time despite traffic jams-prompt service -would recommend this tour
Ronnie was a great guide, friendly, professional and punctual. We had great communication from the moment we booked which gave us confidence. He took us to some amazing sights, came inside places to show us around and did not rush us. He treated us to a tasty coconut too! Thanks for a great morning Ronnie 😀
Ronnie our driver was waiting for us with a big smile on his face. He brought the tuk tuk to us and we clambered in. He made sure we were comfortable and asked what we wanted to see. We asked to see the highlights and we weren’t disappointed. He explained what we were passing by on our way to the first stop which was a beautiful Catholic Church then on to beautiful and very colourful temples. He walked around with us again explaining what we were looking at, its history and what things meant to the local people. Ronnie dropped us off at a large, air conditioned mall where we had a lovely coffee and snack. After an hour he picked us up and we went back to the shop. He was such a skilful driver negotiating his way through the very hectic, busy roads. We really had a great time - thank you.
The renovation of the Catholic Church after the bomb attack! The tuk tuk driver, Raj, was very helpful, explaining any points that needed explaining.
Ronnie was our driver and he was prompt, courteous and smartly dressed. Very informative and considerate. Highly recommend!!
We were met outside the port by our driver and cricketing supremo CM. We clambered aboard, and off we set for a fascinating tour of Colombo. As we were weaving through the somewhat chaotic traffic and going down narrow streets full of colourful stalls and shops, CM was pointing out al manner of points of interest. CM stopped off and bought us coconut to drink as well as water and helped us take some wonderful photos. When our tour came to and end, it was starting to rain and CM brought out an umbrella to escort us back to the port entrance. All in all a wonderful experience and a huge thanks to CM for such a wonderful time ,
We absolutely loved our tuktuk driver Raja. We booked the tour for the evening hour, and half way through it started pouring down and got quickly dark. Raja offered to postpone half of the tour to the next morning when the weather was better. So he met us again next morning to continue the tour. Raja also gave us suggestions of authentic eateries in Colombo and told us stories about the temples we visited. He was very kind and wanted to make sure we were having a great time in Colombo given the weather conditions during our very short visit. The tour itself is very interesting. Altogether 10 sights to visit. However, I think the lotus tower is a good place to visit on your own, not part of the tour. I would like to spend more time by the beach, cause it looked more interesting.
A disappointing experience. For the money, I expected some tour guiding stories, history, anecdotes- the kind of things that make for a memorable experience. There was none of that. We basically had a regular tuk tuk taxi driver take us around to different places with the dreaded request to go to his “friend’s” jewelry shop. For 1/4 the price we could have flagged a driver off the street and gotten the same thing. The driver was pleasant though. Hours later we saw him again and jumped into his tuk tuk to be taken to our restaurant for the evening.
I did the 3 hour tour, visited a variety of beautiful temples and local architecture. Guide was an excellent driver and spoke good English. The Tuk Tuk was very clean and well maintained No pushy sales pitches, you can define your own tour to a degree. Easy to find signage I highly recommend this gentleman. As a single lady traveller he was courteous respectful and really looked after me Please do not hesitate to book this company
Raja was our excellent driver/tour guide. He met us at the port and, even though our cruise ship was delayed, he kept in touch until we could debark. He then gave us a great tour until it got dark and started to rain! Raja was friendly and knowledgeable! I recommend this Tuk Tuk tour.
The best way to visit Colombo is by tuk tuk. Getting to know the iconic spots of the city was great and Ronnie was a great driver and guide throughout the day. Also he took us to have lunch and it was nice. We would have loved to learn more about each place we visited 😊
What a great day! RAJA and his brother Raswool were our guides as we were accompanied with another couple which worked well. Great company. The tour was tailored, seeing many sights. Raja spoke very good English and was very informative. The booking process was straightforward , good coomunication for arrangements. Collection from Port and drop off was ideal. Loved the whole Tuk Tuk experience.
Absolutely brilliant trip with Raja and his brother Rasoul. We were in one tuk tuk and another couple in the other and it was so lovely to have some company. Raja was very welcoming and knowledgable and they took us to all the sights which we could never have done on our own. Picked up from port and dropped back with no problems whatsoever. Highly recommended.
Ronnie looked after us well. We had a 2 hour tour 'after our tour we were dropped off at the Dutch hospital for lunch and then picked and taken back to the port
Had a great experience with Ronnie from Colombo Tuk Tuk Tours. Communication on Whasapp was clear and polite. Ronnie arrived on time and spoke very good English. He guided us effortlessly in the rain to several key places, including temples. We felt safe and well looked after by him. Thank you Ronnie!
Good trip, but guides English was poor, the guide had to keep disappearing to see other drivers were OK, and was on phone constantly.
This was an excellent trip. We were met on time and started the journey straight away. We had a great tour of the city, seeing everything within the allotted time, without being hurried. Our driver was excellent - very informative & helpful. Great value for money too!
Had a great day touring the city. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and tailored the tour to our tastes. The time went soo quickly. Saw soo many different areas.
Our guide/driver Raja was excellent! Riding around in traffic in a tuk tuk can be pretty exciting. Ours was in very good condition, and Raja maneuvered it expertly while providing a running commentary on the sites. We customized the tour and even made a shopping stop for a camera adapter I needed. The operations manager, Ronnie, reached out to us ahead if time and made the pick up at the port very smooth. A great tour!
We had a fabulous day with our private tour guide who happily took us to all the important sights in Columbo. We even went to the zoo! It was amazing. Our guide was soo friendly and knowledgeable.
The whole trip seemed disorganised. We had a none English speaking Tuk Tuk driver who could not understand a word we said to him. We asked for a summary of where we were going and he couldn’t tell us. There was one guy who spoke English in another Tuk Tuk but he went missing half way through the tour. We asked to return to ship in the end as it was so disappointing and disorganised and we did not know where we were going.
Excellent. Custumised as asked. Be aware that tour driver has to manage traffic, so you may not do everything. We were very lucky, no traffic, no lines, a perfect day with the perfect guide.
Ronnie was understanding, undemanding, friendly and willing to help out. An excellent driver. A very good way to see Colombo.
Great way to experience Colombo. Our driver was Ronnie + he tailored your to our needs. Safe + considerate in every regard - the trip was excellent value + we covered all the sights + highlights in 3 hrs.
Ronnie was a great tour guide. We spent three hours touring the city in tuk tuk. We saw train station, walked the market, toured the mosque, viewed the lake, saw a team playing cricket, saw Lotus Tower and had a great time. We felt safe and were glad Ronnie stayed by our side whole time. We especially enjoyed walking through market and train station. Actually walked on train! That was a cultural experience I would not have wanted to miss.
We had our tuk tuk tour today with Dinuka, he showed us some great places and experienced some cultural areas of Colombo. I would definitely recommend this trip. We were looked after really well.
Very nice view but too bad that the water around is green, full of garbage and with a smell where you really have to have your heart hung. Apart from these details, there is a nice view of Colombo.
We opted for the tour which lasts 3 hours because we were pressed for time. Ronnie picked us up in our guesthouse and showed us the most beautiful places in Colombo. We loved the passage near the great mosque. An authentic and very rich tour. Thank you Ronnie for everything
