Colombo Bay Tuk Tuk City Tour

It was very interesting to see colombo from a tuk tuk. Food was good. Learnt heaps.

Superb tour. Temples, hubs of administration, tea experience & samosas from the Muslim area of the city. We experienced so much more than if we'd gone through a big travel agent or hotel recommendation & felt it was very authentic. Dinuka is a gem & he shows you the real city.

We were a family of 6. We had a great few hours. Dinuka was very accommodating and we all enjoyed the experience. It was a great experience especially when we only had a 24hours.

This is a must do tour to experience different aspects of Sri Lanka, perfect knowledgeable guide who took time to explain different buildings and culture. Would definitely recommend

Great tour. Our ship was 2 hours late. Dinuka waited for us and gave our full 4 hour tour. He took us to a great Indian restaurant. Exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend. We had a lot of fun zipping around the city in the Tuk Tuk.

Excellent guide, full of knowledge. Visited lots of places that we have not seen before. Lunch was super but ensure you have some water to add to your enjoyment.

We had a truly amazing day with Dinuka exploring Colombo and all it’s varied areas. We saw historic sites, temples, a colourful market and to cap it off a delicious lunch in a friends house where our hosts could not have been more accommodating. We had a delicious Sri Lankan curry with five other dishes and was just perfect. A final visit to a tea shop was interesting to us too as tea lovers, a really great full day’s entertainment thank you.

I very much enjoyed this trip with Dinuka. He arrived early and we explored all sorts of nooks and crannies in Colombo - he clearly knows his way around and can take you to places off the beaten path that were uncrowded at night. He’s affable and could field any question I had about the city or Sri Lankan history. And he was flexible - I wanted to take a photo and he backtracked so that I could do so. Also very reasonably priced. Two thumbs up from me.

Dinuka Was very informative knew his town extremely well and gave us a lot of knowledge on the locations that we went to. He arrived at our hotel 10 minutes ahead of schedule and also took us to a very nice place for lunch

Dinuka was quick to reply to our query email and accommodated our children. He emailed us before the tour to ensure it was still scheduled and was punctual (was actually early!) on the day. He and his driver were both very safe and provided us each with cold water bottles. He was very knowledgeable. He was patient and even helped us with specific requests of places we wanted to see. Lunch was a tasty local cuisine. We did not feel rushed, really enjoyed the local scenery. Would definitely recommend this tour which is great for family. Thanks so much!

My tuk-tuk driver Dinuka was great! It was a very personalized tour with temples, local market, historical building and ending with a tea tasting. Dinuka spoke very good English and is a very safe driver in the chaos & craziness of Colombo traffic. I was in very good hands and really liked the places I explored on my tour.

Danuka was amazing. Shared some wonderful insights into this amazing city called Colombo. We had a couple of left field requests which were no problem for him. We gained a great overview of the city and would certainly recommend this Tour if it’s your first visit!

Excellent communication, took us to places we would never have found, give detailed information on the various places visited . To complete a really good tour our guide took us to an authentic Sri Lanka curry pot for a meal. Would highly recommend this guide/tour.

Our tuk tuk tour with Dinuka was our favorite part of our Sri Lanka trip! Dinuka took us to the major historical sights and temples. He was knowledgable and professional and answered our many questions. He was a careful driver and we felt safe with him in the bustling city traffic. He brought us to Pettah for street food and sightseeing-- this would otherwise be outside our comfort zone and we are very grateful for him showing us authentic Colombo! He even took us to a tea shop for tea samples and reminded us no pressure to buy anything. We enjoyed every moment of this experience. We will always hold this very special tour in our memories. Our only regret is that we didn't take a photo with Dinuka himself! My husband and I would recommend this tour to all our friends visiting Colombo.

Had Dinuka as our tour guide, very friendly and knowledgeable! Accommodating with our pick up & drop, went in depth with his explanations of major landmarks. Taught us cultural significance of different areas and communities. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit landmarks but limited on time. Great experience!

This trip is a must in Colombo, you get to see city in few hours and the Tuk Tuk is the most practical way to do it. The guide was amazing, knowledgeable and a safe driver.

Our guide Ricky was AMAZING!! The knowledge he had was insane we learnt so much. Unfortunately a few of the temples were closed due to the time of day & it being a Sunday but we still got to see and do so much it didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. We got lunch, multiple snacks & water throughout the day all free of charge. Literally only had to pay a small fee for one temple. These tours are such good value for money, very interesting and fun. Gives the opportunity to do a lot that you wouldn’t on your own. Highly recommend, 2nd tour with this company and haven’t disappointed yet!!

Dinuka's tour was excellent and exactly what we needed, especially because we only stayed for one day in Colombo. Dinuka showed us every important place in Colombo and talked about the history and the way people live here in Sri Lanka. We visited local markets and even had a lovely dinner in the local food market where otherwise we probably would not dare to eat on our own. Don't hesitate to book Dinuka's tuk tuk when in Colombo.

Dinuka was prompt and was in constant communication prior to our experience. This was a hassle free way to see the sites of Colombo. We had a wonderful tour of Colombo with Dinuka. He was very efficient with his communication and we changed some of the details of the itinerary and he was very accommodating. He sent us his photo before the tour and arrived punctually on time. He had made an effort to clean his tuk tuk, brought us some king coconuts to have on our tour, had a supply of tissues, sanitizers and drinking water which was really helpful. His knowledge of the city is very good and he is very kind and friendly person. We would definitely recommend him for the Tuk Tuk tour 😊

A great Tuk Tuk experience, highly recommended when in Colombo!! Dinuka is a very knowledgeable and polite tour guide who can speak English well. He was very accommodating and took us to a great tea tasting place and also for food on a local street market to experience the bustling market atmosphere and food. It was good paying everything beforehand so we knew what we were getting and that we weren’t going to be asked for anything more because we are tourists. He also provided snacks along the route which was very kind. Cold bottled water is also provided.

A great trip provided by Dinuka; he was very hospitable and knowledgable about the area. It was raining for the majority of our trip which Dinuka apologised for, even though it was not his fault!! He was very accommodating for this and we drove with the hard top Tuk Tuk 🛺 so that we didn’t get wet. He also put some music on for us to make the Tuk Tuk journey more enjoyable. He took us to a lovely tea tasting spot where we learnt about Sri Lankan teas and got to try some. He then took us to a food market where we ate at the market to enjoy some local Sri Lankan food and to experience the bustling market streets, where he also provided us with snacks when we asked, along the route. We found it easier to have paid for the trip prior to it, so that we knew what we were getting; and overall think it was a very reasonable price for a brilliant trip which included food!! He also took us to the train station to buy a train ticket which was off plan. Thanks Dinuka!!

An fascinating tour of Colombo bringing the history of the city to life with excellent commentary and interesting stops on the chaotic roads. I strongly recommend this excellent tour as an introduction to this lovely city.

Local guide is very nice and good in English, you are also can tell him about which place are u interesting and during the trip he also provide drink and umbrella.. he is preparing person like contact you in advance and sent you a photo of him including introduce himself! And last thing a good photographer as well
