Airport To Negombo Hotel Transfer / Taxi (Airport Transfer)

Booked through Viator who did not inform company of the booking therefore no taxi service on arrival at the airport. This is by no means the taxi companies issue. Having contacted them they have been nothing but prompt and courteous in their replies. A review was requested by Viator and was submitted reflecting the lack of organisation by them. This appears on their web page. They appear to have deflected the issue onto the taxi company which is both unfair and in my personal opinion, questionable. To be clear, the review on Viator's page is referencing them, not the taxi company.

Taxi didn't turn up , ended up having to get another taxi, tried contacting provider but not answering nor did they attempt to contact me

We booked taxi for all our transfer in Sri Lanka. It was super convenient, all the drivers were super nice, always on time and we had the AC in the car. The price are also really correct so I highly recommend their services. We even had the chance to see leopard and elephant during one of our transfer and the taxi stopped for us to take nice pics and video

The communication was with driver was good, and direction for pickup at the airport was clear. Driver was friendly and recommended places to visit during stay and how you can get to the different locations.

We used Real Lanka for all of the transfers between regions on our trip (5+ trips). Communication with the office was always prompt with details of the car and price clearly stated. All of our drivers were great, extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

I first booked transfer by car from CMB to Ahangama through 12Go. The service was really smooth and professional, so I booked further transfers during my stay directly through WhatsApp. Every time it was super reliable and I felt very safe with the drivers. I really liked that they always text photos of the car that will pick you up and drivers were early/on time every time. I would 100% recommend!

Avoid! I booked shared taxi from Mirissa to Airport in february. 30 minutes before my departure they refused ride due I was only me and it did not calculate for them.to.go.only with me. Also.they scamming and I did not get money back and thry and laying on 12Go asia thst trip.was done.and they refuse.my.refund. If you meet such company you dont want to.go.back.to.Sri Lanka. AVOID!!!

We booked a transfer from Colombo airport to a hotel in Central Colombo as our plane landed at 2.45am. Communication with the company in advance and with the driver on the day was brilliant. We were given complimentary water and the journey was stress-free. I would highly recommend this company. So much so that we booked further private transfers through them during our 2 week trip which they often accommodated at short notice. This is a reliable and trustworthy tour company to use.

We had a great experience traveling around Sri Lanka with this company! Our driver, Thilina, was a welcoming presence on our first day. He ensured we made it from Colombo to Kandy in time, but he also helped us experience the countryside as we went along. We stopped for king coconut and learned a lot from him about Kandy and this beautiful country. Highly recommend his and this group's services.

Used twice to and from the airport from different hotels. Both times the taxi arrived in good time, the driver was polite and helpful as well as careful on the road. Definitely recommend this firm.

Firstly taxi transfer booking only highlighted pick-up date but not time or flight details. On arrival the company Real Lanka Holidays were not there to meet us. After 30 mins of phone calls and WhatsApp messages that went unanswered we were forced to pay airport taxi high fare to get to hotel.

I used real Lanka holidays for most of my transfers in Sri Lanka! Reliable and always on time, and as a female solo traveler I always felt safe. Really easy to book either via 12Go Asia (how I found out about them) or just via WhatsApp (my preferred method). During one of the transfer the driver agreed to stop 2 times to see some sights and do a tea factory tour, free of charge. Highly recommend!!!

No driver was waiting with my name at airport. I asked an airport services person and called Real Lanka several times before they answered. Was told to wait. ultimately the airport services gentleman put me in a car outside. The driver needed me to put my hotel name in Google Maps for him. When we arrived, he did not know that Real Lanka had been paid in advance and insisted I pay him - he was not happy. Ultimately the hotel manager helped me explain Real Lanka had been paid by credit card in advance for the transfer and got him to take photos of my confirmation, ticket, and proof of payment.

I’m in my 60’s travelling solo to Sri Lanka I didn’t want to search for a taxi at the airport after a 17 hour flight so booked Viator before I left, when the taxi arrived the driver did not know the hotel and didn’t have any internet to use gps, I used my limited data to find the address but then we couldn’t find the hotel, he didn’t ask anybody for help and started complaining he needed to get back to the airport for another pick up, so I had to get out of the taxi to ask at a local shop for the location of the hotel and they directed me. I was looking for a reliable stress free taxi from airport to hotel and this was the opposite, will be making other arrangements if needed again in the future.

Heshan brought as safely from our Surfcamp in Hiriketya to the airport. It was a long ride, but he managed to make it pleasant for us. He is an experienced driver and gave us interesting information about Sri Lanka. He was super punctual so we had no hurry to be on time. We had a transportation with Heshan to the Southcoast. He had to wait for us over three hours because of the bad weather conditions. He was very kindly and drives carefully. I forgot my Jacket at the car and he bring it back at the next day. Thank you!

Great price but that isn’t even the best part. My driver Heshan was the best driver I have had in a long time. Super informative, I even got to see a video on Sri Lanka on my ride and ask him one million questions. (To which he answered happily) Try to ask for Heshan if you book taxi service. You’ll get the best recommendations and honestly just a good vibe to start your trip.
