Day 1

I will meet you at the airport and give you all the instructions for the start of the journey and start a comfortable journey.
The capital and the royal palace were abandoned after the king's death. It was used as a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. It is one of the best-preserved examples of ancient urban planning. It is an 8th wonder of the world.
Experience traditional village life on this private tour. Depart from your hotel in a tuk tuk and make your way to the village. Accompanied by a guide, take an oxen cart ride through the village. Admire the views on a catamaran ride over a reservoir and try to spot the local wildlife. Observe a cooking lesson from a local villager share a traditional lunch.

Morning Tour give you a chance to see mostly Birds like Peacock, Eagle, Pelicans, Parrots, Crane, Parakeet, Owl, Hornbill & etc. Can see about 20% of Elephants.

Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Sri Lanka after the destruction of Anuradhapura in 993. It comprises, besides the Brahmanic monuments built by the Cholas, the monumental ruins of the fabulous garden-city created by Parakramabahu I in the 12th century.
The Koneswaram temple is well known for its celebration of the traditional Ther chariot festival, the Navaratri and Sivarathri functions. The Ther Chariot Festival lasts for twenty-two days in April and focuses on preparing the deities and the community for Puthandu, the Tamil New Year.
Pigeon Island National Park is one of the three marine national parks of Sri Lanka. The national park is situated 1 km off the coast of Nilaveli, a coastal town in Eastern Province, encompassing a total area of 471.429 hectares. The island's name derives from the rock pigeon which has colonized it.

Trincomalee, popularly referred to as “Trinco”, is home to an uninterrupted stretch of beautiful beach with unspoilt white sandy beaches and clear blue waters, that runs for almost 30 kilometres, known as Uppuveli, Nilaveli and Kuchchaveli beaches.
Trincomalee British War Cemetery is a British military cemetery in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka, for soldiers of the British Empire who were killed or died during World War II. The cemetery also has graves of Dutch, French, Italian and other allied forces.

A sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery, with its five sanctuaries, is the largest, best-preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka. The Buddhist mural paintings (covering an area of 2,100 m2) are of particular importance, as are the 157 statues.
The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic or Sri Dalada Maligawa, is a Buddhist temple in Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha.
Kandy cultural show is a one-hour long show, which starts at every day 5:00 in the evening and continues for the next one hour.

The Nuwara Eliya tea factory that we visited is called Damro Labookellie Tea Centre (former Mackwoods) and is the oldest tea centre in Sri Lanka.
Ambuluwawa Tower is located in the suburbs of Gampola Town Sri Lanka.It is a bio diversity complex as well as the first multi religious shrine in sri lanka. We can see a temple,kovil,mosque and a church.As we ascend the stairs,the width of the stairs decreases and it takes on a spiral shape.
Ramboda Falls is 109 m high and the eleventh tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka and the 729th tallest waterfall in the world.

Ella has long been one of the most popular destinations in Sri Lanka, sought after for its laid-back atmosphere and picturesque hiking trails. It's also the starting or end point of the famed Kandy-Ella train route, which is often referred to as the most scenic train ride in the world.
The Nine Arches Bridge also called the Bridge in the Sky, is a viaduct bridge in Sri Lanka. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country.
Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 34 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring.

Diyaluma Falls is 220 m high and the second highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 619th highest waterfall in the world.
Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 bird species. Among its more famous residents are the world's biggest concentration of leopards, majestic elephants, sloth bears, sambars, jackals, spotted dear, peacocks, and crocodiles.

Galle is famous for its Portuguese architectural buildings and the Galle Fort which is a world heritage site and the many amazing places to visit in Galle.
This place is lovely for sunset watching; enjoy the sea breeze; under the coconut trees; and nice spot for instagramable photos.

Madu river encircles nearly sixty-four islands only six of these are inhibited. Maru river safari is very famous and fish spa included. The safari is interesting when it passes thru mangroves.
Kosgoda Turtle Care program aims to protect sea turtle eggs and increase hatching rates. We not only do hatching, but also, we treat disabled Turtles.

Took a 10 day tour from 15 March with Sujee who welcomed us with his enduring smile that lasted throughout our trip. Not just a fabulous and safe driver. He had to drive up many hills for some of our accommodations, which would have challenged other drivers. Sujee had all the information we needed for our trip, and went above and beyond to make our trip as comfortable and enjoyable. He knew all the lovely places to eat, at very reasonable prices. Some drives were long, but we enjoyed spending that time in the car with his humour and stories. He made us feel comfortable and safe in a country we had not visited before. Sujee is an easy and open person, and inevitably we bonded very quickly. He is very caring, compassionate and responded to our needs. Not only provided a tour but with his experience and contacts enabled to provide us with VIP like services; that included out-of-hours tours and reserved seating at short notice for shows. Would highly recommend a tour with Sujee, he was the best!! Would definitely use Sujee again on further trips to this lovely Island. Thanks Sujee....hoping to meet you again.

Sujeewa was meant to be our tour guide but he unfortunately had car trouble and he notified me on our way to Sri Lanka, however he ensured his brother Sameera was ready and waiting at the airport for us to be our guide instead. Sujeewa kept in touch during the tour and even called me at the end to ensure me and my family had a good time. Sameera is an absolute gentleman, kind, considerate, honest and respectful and extremely patient. I thought the broken English and language barrier might be an issue but it wasn’t as Sameera knew exactly what we needed/wanted without us asking, was very experienced and knowledgable, and knew exactly what places to go to get the best out of the tour and utilise our 10 days in Sri Lanka. We experienced so many places but our personal highlights were Sigiriya Lions Rock, Minneriya Elephant Safari, Kandy Tooth Temple, Nine Arch Bridge in Ella, and Galle Fort. Sameera become a friend to us and we shared personal stories and laughs and my son loved him. Touring with a 9 month old wasn’t easy but it was fun and manageable with Sameera as he couldn’t do enough to help us and always made sure our son was safe and secure. We were a group of three females. We were absolutely delighted with Sujeewa. He behaved in a very professional manner, and arranged a variety of tours and hotels over a period of 2 weeks.
