The management is so bad to the customers. My friend and I have used the kettle to cook Maggie and they have charged for using the kettle saying it’s a hotel policy. They have never informed us beforehand and when asked to show the policy they were silent. Even after explaining them, they have not let us leave until we had paid them. Treating the customers rudely and giving them the attitude is the worst management a 5 star hotel can have.
We had a wonderful experience at Trillium Boutique Hotel. From the very beginning, the booking process via WhatsApp was smooth and hassle-free. The location is convenient, and the service was very good. They also provided sanitary kits upon request, which was a thoughtful touch. Another great feature is that the hotel itself has a Barista outlet, which was very convenient. One area that could be improved is the hot water shower, as it was not working perfectly during our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to visit Trillium Boutique Hotel again next year around the same season. Highly recommended!
This hotel really nice & staff is very polite and cooperative. There are two guys Mr. Poornay and Mr. Druvy are so polite and supportive. Food was also nice - The kitchen staff Mr. Prasad & Irshad also Mr. Pasinada & Shalika these are the gentle people. I'm from India but I have seen people from other countries was treated very well. I can strongly recommend this hotel to the foreigners. Thank you very much.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the stay. The location is convenient, and the overall service was excellent. I especially appreciated the hospitality and the effort made by the staff to ensure a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend Trillium Hotel Colombo 7 to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Colombo. Wishing the entire team continued success!
We checked into the hotel around 10:00 PM. Upon arrival, I requested a simple birthday amenity, such as a small piece of cake, for my wife's birthday the following day. Unfortunately, the staff said it was too late to arrange anything and simply told us to purchase one from the barista. When we entered our room (Room 402), we were extremely disappointed. Although we had booked a double room, we were assigned a room with an interconnecting door.Throughout the night, we were unable to sleep because of the noise from the neighboring room, and light continuously came through the gap beneath the connecting door. The room itself was far below expectations. The hot water was not working, the tables were dusty and had dried milk stains, the bed was uncomfortable, and the bed linen looked old and worn out. The balcony was filthy, covered with crow droppings and a strong unpleasant smell, making it impossible to even open the balcony door. We requested two bathrobes, but both were provided without waist ties. The towels were old, torn, and had holes in them. Despite the booking being for two guests, the room had only one small bottle of drinking water and tea and coffee amenities for only one person. Even the toilet roll was already half used. Overall, the room felt as though it had not been properly cleaned after the previous guests. Because we checked in so late, we requested a late check-out, but the request was declined, with the explanation that the hotel was fully booked. Considering the condition of the room and the overall experience, this was difficult to believe. To make matters worse, when we checked out and handed over the room key, we were asked to wait while the room was inspected before we could leave. Being asked to stand at the reception while our room was checked, in front of other guests, made us feel as though we were suspected of taking something from the room, which was both embarrassing and unprofessional. We chose this hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday, but instead of creating happy memories, the experience completely ruined our special occasion. Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Based on our experience, the standards of cleanliness, room maintenance, and customer service were far below what we expected, regardless of whether the guests are locals or international visitors.
