Stayed at Fairway Colombo during our Sri Lanka trip. A good hotel for business or short stays with clean rooms, good location, and decent overall service. The breakfast was okay, though the variety of food options was limited. It’s not a luxury property, but definitely a comfortable and practical choice for business travelers. The robot room service was also a fun and unique experience.
We stayed at Hotel Fairway Colombo for 2 nights—one at the beginning of our trip and one at the end—and it turned out to be a great choice both times.
The location is definitely one of the biggest advantages. It’s right in the heart of the city, with many attractions, restaurants, and shopping spots within walking distance, which made it very convenient for us to explore Colombo without much hassle.
The staff were warm, polite, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall hospitality made us feel comfortable throughout our stay.
The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and modern, with all the basic amenities you’d need. The beds were comfortable, and everything felt neat and organized. We also liked the rooftop area, which has a nice vibe and is a good place to relax after a long day.

We stayed as a family with an elderly member and a child, and took two rooms. The rooms were super clean, the mattresses were comfortable, and we had a really good night’s sleep. Lift access to the floor is secured with an access card, which felt safe. We opted for the half-board meals, and both breakfast and dinner were very good with a moderate variety of choices. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Went for a Toastmasters club dinner event. Great experience. Parking was easy. Served food and bar counter perfectly. Well trained staff with hotel school training. Variety of food was nice.
