Courtyard By Marriott Colombo

I had a wonderful experience staying at this Marriott property. The rooms were immaculately clean, modern, and featured the incredibly comfortable bedding that Marriott is famous for. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and the check-in process was seamless. The amenities, from the fitness center to the dining options, were top-notch. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip!

We received excellent service from all the staff, who were very friendly, and we truly enjoyed the food. The breakfast menu was especially impressive, offering a wide variety of vegetables, fruits, and breads, along with freshly made fruit and vegetable juices. I also loved the free-flow alcoholic drinks sessions, and the cocktails were fantastic! The high tea was great too, although the desserts were a little too sweet for my taste. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience at the dinner buffet at Courtyard by Marriott Colombo. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lovely, and the overall service was excellent. A special thank you to Ms. Chalani, who was extremely helpful and supportive with our online reservation. She made the reservation process so easy and convenient. We would also like to sincerely thank Ivan, who took great care of us throughout our time at the restaurant. He was attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist, which made our evening even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience, and we truly appreciate the excellent hospitality. This was our third stay at this hotel, and once again we had an excellent experience. The hotel is directly connected to Colombo City Centre Mall, with the reception located on the 9th floor. The terrace and pool area offer beautiful views of Colombo and the Indian Ocean. The mall itself is a good size and is probably the second-largest in Colombo. The staff throughout the hotel are friendly, professional, and welcoming, which is one of the main reasons we keep returning. There are a few areas that could be improved. At the buffet restaurant, we noticed some guests using plates they had already eaten from while serving themselves, causing the serving utensils to come into contact with used plates. This was both unappealing and unhygienic. We also found that when traditional Sri Lankan dishes, which are often enjoyed by hand, were served, finger bowls were not provided unless requested. This happened during each of our stays, and we have mentioned it to the restaurant management. Another minor issue was that some of the corridors had a noticeable odor and could benefit from more frequent deep cleaning. Overall, these were relatively small concerns, and we would still happily stay here again and recommend the hotel to others.
