My family and I took a private bike tour with Sarah. She is an excellent guide to the city. We saw many wonderful sites and heard of the city’s history. She was really fantastic. I definitely recommend a Cologne bike tour with Sarah.

Really great tour with Sarah, brought our perceptions of Cologne to life. I would reccommend this to anyone visiting this wonderful city.
We had a fantastic time on the tour with our guide Sara and her trainee Johannes. We were the first people to take their new e-bike tour, so it was just the two of us plus Sara and Johannes - so it was like a private tour! The e-bikes were great and brand new. They were very comfy and made the tour so easy and fun! We did around 18-20km over four hours all around Cologne and had a great, fun time. Both Sara and Johannes were very friendly, funny and approachable. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone of all ages and abilities!
My wife, daughter and I had an amazing experience with our guide Christian. We were given a real insight into the history and character of this amazing city. There was a wealth of information and stories and all three of us including our eight year old loved it. I feel very lucky to have been on this trip, highly recommended!!!
This was a great tour. Jennifer was super friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely request her she was great! She had a great historical background and gave us some wonderful memories.
Jennifer took us around Cologne and did an awesome job. We really appreciated her knowledge of Cologne and we had an absolutely great time!
A very interesting and instructive tour of some of Cologne's street art. The tour was well planned and adapted to our modest skills on a tandem, Peter was a knowledgeable, cheerful and encouraging guide.
We just finished a private tour (4 of us) with Peter and we could not be more satisfied. The bikes were in excellent condition and totally ready on our arrival. The support staff were friendly and efficient. But… it was Peters knowledge, rapport and pace that really put the whole event “over the top”. He was well versed in his subject and surprised us with a lot of very interesting history. We had a couple intermediate bikers in our group and he was therefore careful and cautious in his pace so they felt safe. We’ve done bike tours in several major cities. This tour is unquestionably in the very top tier. Thank you to Peter and team
We were on a river cruise that stopped in Cologne. We wanted to do some biking during our trip as did a few of our fellow cruisers. Peter was our guide for the afternoon. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us around the city and provided a little history, culture and great navigation. It was a beautiful day and a bit crowded in some areas but we but we got through. Finished the ride with some cold Kolsch beer and conversation. I would definitely recommend Peter and his bike tours. Bikes were nice and easy to ride!
Discovering Cologne with Colonia Aktiv was perfect. The staff was really doing their job at 200%, helping to choose the bike, offering equipment (gloves, headset and more), helped to setup the bike... The visit was covering a lot of different aspect of the city's history: about art, science, politics and economy. I had a really good idea of how the city's identity after this short tour (3hours). The tour is adapted to bike beginners and the tour guide is really caring of the group. Talking about him, he really made a lot of effort to make it interactive, asking questions relative to visitors country of origins for example. Last, the location to start and end the tour is perfect since it is very close to the center, so once you leave, you are minutes from the dome, allowing you to spend more time there easily.
I guess our expectations were ether high or Cologne just did not take our interests. The tour was fine and did a good overview of the history and current "vibe" of Cologne. The guide was certainly knowledgeable and prepared. It just seemed we went a long way for "meh", excluding the Cologne Cathedral. We found that after the tour we only had taken a handful of pictures, and almost all of them were of the cathedral. Perhaps my review is more of Cologne than it is of Colonia Aktive tours. Our tour did not include time to go into the cathedral or any other venue. However, once we noted to our guide this would be our only opportunity to enter the Cathedral, she made time for us to spend 15 minutes inside. I will say, they do need to work on their online shopping cart provider. I am in IT and there was just no good reason for it to be so bad. We never could get it to charge our card and had to arrange paypal instead of a simple online purchase.
Very nice and interesting tour of Cologne had with Peter. Very doable. Little up and down. With a large group it was doable
Super leadership, informative and individual. Winni was very sympathetic, knowledgeable, entertaining, just a typical Cologne, and not only showed us the usual tourist trails.
Beautiful bike ride and a guide who knew a lot about Cologne in a fun way but also about the inhabitants and their customs. Great!
Nice guides Jennifer and Freddy. Nice tour and Cologne is a beautiful city. They speak several languages and know the city well. Recommended!
The bike tour through Cologne is a great way to get to know the city and its sights. The tour was superbly organized and conducted by our guide Rainer. You stop at many sights and learn about the history. We can fully recommend the tour and the guide Rainer. Thank you again, Rainer!
We had a great tour, the weather played along and Addie was just a great guide, thank you so much, dear Addie! The tour went along the Rhine and it was just wonderful. Addie found a good mix between cycling and explanations, an all-round perfect bike ride, absolutely recommendable!
Wie did a privately guided tour "Fascination Köln" with Christian on Friday, October 1, 2021. It was just top-notch. His loose and extremely understandable information on the various points of contact, his flexibility and his humor were more than convincing. In addition, the lot of information about our own activities after the tour were very helpful for us! Thank you very much! P.S. for Christian: We found Willi Millovich and Dirk Bach.
We had a super nice bike tour in June with our guide Piet. He told well and had many Insider facts about Cologne. For me it was the 3rd bike tour with Colonia active and every time I find out something new about Cologne. Highly recommended when visiting Cologne especially because you also go away from the tourist hotspots and also see something of the Vedels of Cologne.
We booked the street art tour at Colonia Aktiv and yesterday we were traveling through the Cologne Veedels with our guide Sarah. Sarah gave us the stories behind the respective artworks with a lot of passion and background knowledge - it was just fun to listen to her. The tour is awesome and takes you to the hearts of the Cologne Veedel. Highly recommended!
