Guide was a no-show. They did email 45 minutes prior start time that it was cancelled but that seems very last minute I lost my chance to have a tour and that is disappointing

Despite the scorching heat, I have really enjoyed discovering this beautiful city on this fantastic walking tour. Our lovely host was very friendly and knowledgeable, I’ve found out so much about Cologne.

Tour guide requested we change the schedule to accommodate her schedule then the tour guide was very late and even cut the tour early. Basically a 2 hour tour turned in to a little more than an hour. She really didn’t know a lot about the history of the city as she’s only lived here a few years.

I always book a walking tour when I travel the world. My base expectation is that the guide will not only be passionate about the city, but will have stories define the personality of the location and curate tales that you can't find on ChatGPT. Our guide, a personable young woman, was a complete novice. An Indian national, she had lived in Cologne for one year and been a tour guide for just one month. Her knowledge of Cologne was superficial - less than ChatGPT which I scrambled to use to make sense of sites. Her response to questions followed the same path: "basically, this is an old city with lots of history." Duh! This was a complete waste of time. Grab a 6EURO audio tour and avoid the tourist trap.

The guide did not speak very good english and was hard to understand. Her knowledge of Cologne's history was vague. We felt a self guided tour would have been more informative. Not worth the value.

This was not a good tour. It lasted only 45 mins and did not match the description. A few things were also left out from the itinerary. I contacted the tour operator and of course heard nothing back from them. It genuinely feels like a scam and I urge travelers to look elsewhere for a tour.

We had a fantastic experience on this guided walking tour in Cologne. It was the perfect way to get to know the city, especially if it’s your first time here. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting historical facts, but what made the tour really stand out was how engaging and entertaining it was. The pace was just right, with plenty of stops at key landmarks and hidden spots you might easily miss on your own. I especially enjoyed the mix of history, local stories, and fun anecdotes and it made everything much more memorable. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city.

Without a doubt, this is the best way to discover Cologne and all its beautiful corners. Cologne is not only a beautiful city but also very interesting. Its history is linked to the evolution of Germany from Roman times to the present day. Highly recommended for first-time visitors.

Cologne is a fantastic city, and of course, its most notable feature is its cathedral. This beautiful structure is the symbol of the city and, due to its height, can be seen from almost any corner of the city. This tour began very close to the cathedral. Our guide explained the cathedral's historical significance and also told us some stories about how it survived the attacks of World War II. This tour also took us to several places in the historic center, but for me, the highlight was undoubtedly the cathedral.
