Cologne Scavenger Hunt & Highlights Self-guided Walking Tour

My husband and I did this with my son and his girlfriend who both live in Cologne. It was great fun and we learned some cool little stories about the history of the city.

The self guide tour was a great way to explore the key attractions and the small ones that do not get much attention. But the best part was while the maps take you to the next location you walk through the alleys and explore much more. For us discovering where Cologne was invented was the highlight. Highly recommend

Really good value way of doing a self guided walking tour around cologne and made it more interesting for my two sons 9 and 11. We didn’t have enough time to do it all but because of the fair pricing that felt fine

Really fun guided tour with little puzzles to solve along the way. Interesting facts about each place and the app was easy to use. You can do it in your own time and take breaks along the way. Would definitely recommend.

There should have been a practice round or an example riddle. I thought the clue would lead me to the next stop on the walking tour. I didn't know until after giving up on the first clue that it was something about the first location. Also, the interface was not completely user friendly. There were some buttons that were not easy to use. There were also some locations that were harder to find. There should be an option to change fe the date of the original booking. I was so tired on the day of the event that I only did it to not waste the money I paid. It would have been more fun if I had not been tired and been more willing to walk a longer distance to the last few places.

simple quick tour. enough with kids. they liked the puzzles but there could be more stops

We really enjoyed being able to see cologne at our own pace and learn things we may not have otherwise. Very interesting and excellent value

Really good way to see cologne and be taken to the main sites and learn a little about them all. Only downside was that on some of the clues it wasn’t clear what the question was so you had to click the hint button to get the q. But others it was clear from the image and front screen.

Nice way to learn more about Köln, especially with children. Puzzles were very/too easy, could be more challenging for more fun. Unless you are travelling with really young children (4-8?), perfect for that age.

Fun way to explore the city, maybe having an option to increase the difficulty of the clues would be good and an option to increase the number of locations. Overall fun and accessible, though there were a few glitches were it made us skip a clue.

Fun, easy way to see cool sights in Köln. Took the opportunity and added some geocaching to the adventure. Kids enjoyed the riddles.

Fun puzzle tour through Cologne along 10 beautiful places. Fun to do with children too.

The locations were not far apart and the puzzles were not difficult. For each location, there was interesting historical background information, and after solving the corresponding puzzle, the solution was also put into a local context - that was really especially nice. Overall, a very pleasant and entertaining way to discover a bit of Cologne on your own at your own pace.

We completed the scavenger hunt as a family and thought it was just great! It worked perfectly with the app and it was really a lot of fun. 😀

Unfortunately, the Pegelturm was obscured by scaffolding.

A really fun way to explore the city independently

Perfect if you want to get to know the city quickly and concisely. Great if you have little time, and we really liked that you can pause the whole thing!

It was a lovely time at our own pace. The brief but content-rich information about the individual locations was very interesting, and solving the puzzles was fun. We highly recommend the scavenger hunt.

Good for discovering Cologne independently.

Good rally, made entertaining, good information, some were even new to me, although I lived in Cologne for 5 years.

As in many cities, Cologne offers an interesting and straightforward scavenger hunt to Enterprise the highlights of the Old Town. Especially with children highly recommended

It was very entertaining and you experienced many things. Gladly again in other cities. App worked very well 👍

The instructions were easy to understand, we were able to solve the puzzles well after joint consideration and knowledge words were still available in " short and succinct". All in all a nice family trip.

Not too difficult. Fun and you see and learn a bit more about the city than usual. Accessible for different age groups.

Wirklich gut, um gut und günstig die Stadt zu erkunden und ein paar Infos zu erhalten. Die Rätsel sind einfach bis mittelschwer, für unsere Kinder (10, 11) größtenteils schaffbar. Da man keinen Zeitdruck hat, ist man frei, die Tour mit Shopping / Gastro zu verbinden. Für das Geld sehr empfehlenswert.

Dit is de tweede keer dat we dit doen. Ik zou het iedereen aanbevelen omdat je zo zeker weet dat je alle leuke en bekende gedeelten van de stad langskomt.
