Excellent tour for lots of history of cologne. Our tour guide Michael is extremely knowledgeable and so friendly! Never a bad question.

Michael was absolutely wonderful and we could not have been more pleased. He was a wealth of knowledge about Cologne and the area in general. He answered every question we posed with poise, grace and sometimes - humor. He even took care to try to play our trip around areas he thought may be of interest instead of just following a routine. Michael was great and 5 stars too low for the great tour of Cologne he provided. Well done!

Alyn was amazing and made this a very exciting and memorable experience for myself and my 15 year old daughter. She communicated clearly with us before the tour coordinating our link up. She tailored the tour to our specific interests, was very knowledgeable, and extremely engaging. Well worth the money and highly recommended.

Our guide Sascha took us round and explained the city to us. It was very informative and entertaining to understand the history of cologne especially the perfume. Overall it was a very informative and concise tour!

Went with a group of co-workers as part of a business trip. We were all tired after a long day on our feet, so we asked our guide to run an abbreviated version of the tour giving us the highlights. She did exactly that!

Although our tour was good, i would have expected a bit more discussion of history. Three hours was too much. Also the “commercial” stop was unnecessary. We wanted history and culture. No preparatory props. No suggestions offered as to what else might be done while we are in the area.

This was a private tour for two of us and it was too expensive for the value. Our tour guide gave a nice introduction to the Cologne Catgedral, but after that there was not a whole lot of highlights. We did a little bit of walking by the water and old town. We asked about cologne and she took us to the Farina shop which was nice. The tour ended early and she didn’t have much to show us to fill up the three hours.

Our guide Aylina gave us a great intro to Cologne. Nice balance of cathedral and other highlights nearby. She provided a good mix of history with contemporary life in Cologne. Took us to a nice bakery and recommended a fun lunch spot with traditional German food and the local Kolsch beer. Overall a great experience.

We booked a tour and the process was very easy. We received all the information about the meeting point the day before the tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and humorous. The time flew by. The Kölsch beer at the end tasted very good. I can highly recommend vH!!!

I booked a tour with Aylin for friends who were visiting and me. I am a Cologne native, but what Aylin put forward in terms of knowledge and information with a competence, wit and joy was great and a lot of fun. I didn’t think I’d learn so much more about my hometown. The 3 hours went by like in flight and we felt very comfortable! If my friends come from USA, I will book them again and this time everything in English. I'm looking forward to it.
