Cologne Highlights 2h Privat Walking Tour With Own Tour Guide.

Our 2 hour private tour was perfect. Our guide, Michael, was so personable and really knows the city and its history. I would highly recommend this tour to get a nice overview of the city.

We were in Cologne for a couple of days and had a great time with Ailyn. She struck a really nice balance of history, cultural, and architectural stories and facts, all of which we had expressed an interest in and learned a lot about the city from her. She seemed really flexible and comfortable discussing a wide array of topics, which is always really cool on these sorts of tours. Very easy to communicate with as well.

Guide was knowledgeable and personable. Also flexible to make sure he covered our requests. Great experience!

I decided to take a day trip to Cologne and booked this tour after another company cancelled a tour on me. That being said, I highly recommend this tour and this company for several reasons. First, my guide, Sasha was fantastic, he is a local and had great knowledge of the city from modern day and back. The tour covered all the highlights of the city and some things that a casual traveler may not know about or had even seen, such as some of the humorous statues adorning buildings. Regardless of all that, I highly recommend the tour.

Jutte was so knowledgeable and pointed out things that we never would have discovered on our own. She is a very good story teller and a fun guide.

Ayila was personable and knowledgeable. Good overview. I liked both the history and some of the fun legends.

Aylin gave us a fabulous tour of Cologne. She was able to take us into the Cathedral and give us a private tour including a wonderful personal story. She then took us to several other places including the bridge of locks and the Cologne Museum. She was extremely informative, charming and so delightful to be with. She’s a wonderful guide.

Our guide, Aylin, was excellent as she is knowledgeable of Cologne's history through the ages as well as culture. Her English is excellent, her knowledge of historic dates was impressive, even back to the twelfth century. We toured inside the cathedral and was impressed as we’ve toured many cathedrals and she made it very interesting. We also toured around the town through the art museum, bridge, walked around the waterfront, town and even had a local beer. Having been raised in Cologne, it was interesting to hear her speak of older generations, as well as German approach to teaching history to the youth today. FYI, Cologne train station has an excellent storage facility to hold luggage while spending time touring.

Aylin was a superb guide. Her graceful style and sensibilities made our trip very enjoyable. She blended great tidbits of history with well-timed stops for gluhwein and a Fruh Kolsch. The Christmas markets are magical at this time of year so all in all a wonderful time with great ideas and options that Aylin provided. Definitely would recommend taking tours with her!

This tour was super interesting and you could learn a lot. I was there with 2 colleagues and you could learn a lot about Cologne. So you can only recommend Aylin.

Michael was a wealth of knowledge. We really enjoyed getting to know his current home city Cologne and him during this tour. Of course we loved touring the Cologne Cathedral. The stain glass windows, flying buttresses were jaw dropping. But we also saw lots of unexpected things on this tour like underground Roman walls just below the Cologne Cathedral and a Roman tile floor unearthed in recent years that is so exquisite that they built a museum to showcase it. Well worth your time-go for it!!

We booked a 4h tour with our two kids 6 and 9. Our guide Aylin made the tour for all of us very interesting and funny, she was very engaged with our kids . We climbed the tower of the Dom Cathedral and learned a lot about Colognes history, lifestyle and architecture. I can highly recommend a tour with Aylin!

Our tour was seer interesting, amusing and educational. Not only did we get classic guidance but also some kind of funny info that didn't make the whole thing a dry information transfer. Time is too short to discover everything, so we saved some things for next time. Would book it again. Thank you
