Aachen Scavenger Hunt & Highlights Self-guided Walking Tour

We visited Aachen for a day and wanted something flexible , this scavenger hunt was just right. It guided us through the main sights and some hidden corners while letting us go at our own pace. The clues were enjoyable, not too hard, and the app worked smoothly. A great way to experience the city with a fun twist!

Visited the city for work and thought I'd try to do some exploring alone. The app was easy to use and it allowed me to have an exploring plan quickly without having to google for hours! Highly recommended

Nice tour, not too difficult but not too easy either. I liked that you could do it at your own pace. Good tips where you might be able to eat something. It was interesting to explore the city like that.

Had a nice weekend, a real city, old and a bit run-down with still some beautiful old buildings, also a lot of poverty and foreigners but also a lot of police surveillance, the treasury, the dom and city hall were visited, it was worth it, very many shops and the three-country point was very cool

It was nice to see the city this way. This way you get a little more of the history of Aachen.

A rather simple puzzle tour. The puzzles are simple, even the way does not have to be discovered, but the next destination is named directly. No story behind it, just the sights. Okay to get started.

The questions in the scavenger hunt were unclear. If you just walk through the city you will automatically pass all the highlights. Completely unnecessary.

Man lernt spielerisch etwas über die Stadt, das war ganz lustig. Die Rätsel sind ziemlich einfach, am schwierigsten war es die App zu starten. Das war wirklich umständlich und nicht sehr benutzerfreundlich.

The questions weren't always clear. The stories about the museums, among others, were quite commercial, more of an advertisement. For children, the treasure hunt was boring.

Zelf een startpunt bepalen zou makkelijker zijn en dan zelf de volgorde aanpassen. Lastig te vinden waar je de antwoorden in moet voeren. Wie verwacht nou dat dat achter een hangslot staat?!

Was a nice way to get to different places in Aachen and not learn anything about the history. It is easily accessible and Aachen is a well-organized city. Besides this route there is much more to see.

We did this scavenger hunt to get to know Aachen in a different way than usual. The information at each sight was interesting and worth knowing. We learned a lot of new things about Aachen. The puzzles were sometimes easier and sometimes more difficult. We solved the tasks together as a group and it was really fun. We took a lot of breaks because we could organize our time ourselves. We can definitely recommend the tour.

The scavenger hunt was, on the whole, amusing. None of us understood the puzzle at the newspaper museum and had to try to solve it. It is also not a circular route that takes you back to your starting point. This would be recommended for people who are not from the area. I found it practical that the four of us could each download the app and were therefore not forced to work with just one phone. The little stories that you could read were very interesting and even I, as an Aachen native, didn't know a lot of things.
