The Qvest Hideaway

I am very pleased with the staff. Everyone was really great – very kind, friendly, and helpful. The apartment is beautiful and very spacious, with a lovely bedroom and living room. It is also only about 10–15 minutes from the main station. Unfortunately, my room does not have air conditioning. During the summer, this can be a bit uncomfortable, which was the case for me. I contacted the staff and they kindly provided me with a fan (thank you again for that!). I chose to have breakfast once, but I was not very impressed. It is quite basic. Coffee drinks such as cappuccino are not included – only regular coffee, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, everything was very nice and I had a pleasant stay.

June 2026 stayed here for 4 remarkable nights. Tucked away in a calm oasis within the city centre of Cologne, my wife & I thoroughly enjoyed the unique design aspect of our accommodations. Anja, Alana, Lara, Mel and Team Qvest made us feel as if home away from home. Appreciated every moment. Danke sehr!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area of Cologne but ironically, the design is not very functional. Thin pillows, uncomfortable bed, shower sprays water everywhere, and nowhere to properly hang a towel. Most aggravating- the hotel hosted an event on our second night and used the area directly outside our room at the staging area. On returning back, we had to navigate around catering supplies which was loudly packed up around 10:30/11 PM. I loved the last design hotel I stayed at so will try the group again but probably not this particular hotel.

Honestly i feel it is overrated. Sure design is great and the reviews seem amazing. However the room was very cold (as in non cozy) and the breakfast totally not worth it-24€ for basically croissant and cappuccino. Won’t come back.
