This has been my 2nd home for the last 4 days, and I am grateful that I had Manu, Marius and Lea looking after me. - After missing my train, I stayed longer and now I feel part of the family. The staff have all given me excellent recommendations for my needs eg; music and spa-bathing. - The location was brilliant and value for money. I’ll be back. I also stayed in Stuttgart Ruby hotel too! See you again soon, Frances, Melbourne, Australia xox

Chic hotel. Clean & stylish. Bed & pillows are comfy. Showers are with good pressure. Full amenities with lil’ nice perks with bathrobes and slippers. Friendly staff. Would be great if check in can be hassle free, the self check in with details of info needed takes too much effort. And will be nice for staff to respond to messages in booking.com as that’s my main platform for hotel bookings. Overall good value :)
Pros: - Great location - Very easy self checkout Mids: - Cordless charger on bedside table is a fun addition, but useless if it doesn’t work - Each floor seems to have a „galley“ where one can get free tea/ coffee. There’s a tap that has a tap, fizzy, and hot water option. The hot water only worked once during our 2 night stay. The tea selection is wild. I would have wished for at least a herbal and a black tea that wasn’t cocoa/ orange/ whatever spiced. - No phone in the room, so one has to go downstairs to speak to staff Cons: - Pillows very uncomfortable (I ended up sleeping without one) - Toilet and shower are in a sort of glass box. You enter through a glass door into the toilet. This door has a 1cm gap, so it’s basically decorative at best. May as well put the toilet in the middle of the room. Shower is entered through a glass door from the toilet. This door doesn’t close properly, so then the toilet are gets flooded. Basin is in the main room. - There’s an incredibly strong smell in the lobby area of some sort of air freshener/ perfume, but not in a good way Overall, this place is much too expensive for what it offers and in my opinion sullies the IHG name.
Didn't love my room. All of the rooms have a shower and toilet in a frosted glass box in the corner of the room and the water from the shower goes all the way to the toilet so we were constantly having to dry the floor after showering. Staff was nice, bed was ok but odd that they give you two small twin comforters for a queen size bed. I would not stay here again.
Overall 4.5 stars. Would give 5 but the self check in is really not for me. The service was really friendly and staff went out of their way to help. The rooms were extremely clean and modern, incredible shower pressure. Would be benefited by a small fridge. The galley was a nice touch with coffee and tea. We didn't have the breakfast but had coffee each morning from the bar and was some of the best coffee we've had in Germany. The additional touch of choosing a free drink over having the room redone was great. Love the idea. Would stay again. Great location next to the station and suprisingly quite despite the bustling city outside.
