Service was friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was nice location was very easy to get to using bus. Very close to chocolate museum and uncomplicated access to lanxess arena via bus near entrance and subway

​Great stay overall, but TV connectivity needs an update ​Novotel Koeln City is an excellent hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean, and I really enjoyed the mocktails at the bar. ​However, I was disappointed by the TV in the room. Even though it’s a Samsung TV, there is no Netflix app installed, and it wasn't possible to connect my Samsung phone for screen mirroring. For a 4-star hotel, I expected better media and connectivity options. ​Still a very nice hotel, but an upgrade on the entertainment system would make it perfect! We appreciated the location and the ac that was good. The automatic door in the garage is so practical i wish it was a standart in all hotel. You can go to your room directly from the garage. ​At check-in, the receptionist did not inform us that breakfast was already included and paid for. Having forgotten this detail during our stay, we didn't eat breakfast at the hotel at all, only realizing the mistake at check-out. Make sure to double-check your booking confirmation when you arrive so you don't miss out on what you've paid for. We recommand this hotel

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Cologne and Phantasialand, the hotel was perfectly located for both, with an easy 30 mins walk into the old town. The family room was a great size and even had a little fridge, which was handy in the hot weather. Still and sparkling water was provided free of charge in the lobby and the air-con was a welcome addition in the heat. We also ate here one night, the food was excellent and good value. All staff were brilliant and attentive, the rooms were clean and well looked after, highly recommended.

During June, I had the pleasure of staying at Novotel Hotel Cologne City for approximately 15 days, and I can honestly say that one of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional reception team. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the amazing reception team: Elinal, Singe, Clemens, and Venit. Throughout my stay, they were incredibly helpful, supportive, and genuinely caring with every request I had. I always felt heard, welcomed, and valued as a guest. A special thank you to Elinal and Singe, who went above and beyond to help me arrange the bike and scooter I wanted to rent. Their willingness to assist and their friendly attitude made everything so easy and enjoyable. I would also like to thank Clemens, who took exceptional care of my accommodation and made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. His attention to detail and genuine care were truly appreciated. Venit was equally warm, professional, and welcoming, contributing to the wonderful atmosphere created by the entire reception team. As a flight attendant who spends a great deal of time in hotels, I can honestly say that outstanding hospitality like this makes all the difference. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication transformed my stay into a beautiful, relaxing, and memorable experience. Thank you all for making me feel so comfortable. You are a fantastic team and a true credit to Novotel Hotel Cologne City. I look forward to staying with you again.
