Hyatt Regency Cologne

We had such a great stay at the Hyatt Regency Cologne. The highlight was easily the view from our room, it had a view of Cologne Cathedral and the bridge was absolutely insane, especially at sunset. Truly one of those views you just stand at the window and stare at. While this isn’t technically a five-star hotel, our experience still felt great. Everything was clean and modern, and our room was surprisingly large and spacious. The entire property felt comfortable, polished, and very well maintained. Hospitality was also excellent. The concierge was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us some really great recommendations, and valet was easy and seamless from arrival to departure. We also had dinner at Glashaus, the restaurant on property, and really enjoyed it. The steak was excellent and it was so convenient having such a good dinner without needing to leave the hotel.

The hotel offers wonderful views of Cologne. All of the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The interior design of the ground-floor lobby is also impressive, and the bar serves high-quality cocktails. However, the buffet-style dinner offered in the Club Lounge was disappointing. The variety of food was limited, and the taste was below average.

This is such a nice Hyatt in a great location. We stayed during the heat wave and, despite the room being a little warm, we were able to be comfortable with a couple small fans on our nightstand. One thing that stood out to me was the food at the bar. Everything we tried was so delicious. The wings, fries, and currywurst were amazing. If we are back in Cologne, we will be staying here 100%.
