We had a one-night stay as a filly for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is perfect, clean, we had a very welcome accommodation. During the booking process I have mentioned that the reason for our stay was our wedding anniversary they surprised us with a bottle of wine and fruit platter. We felt very welcome there. The only note that I could mention is that we were not told that the restaurant was not working the night we were there, but there were othe restaurants available near I so not a problem.

We’ve had a great Easter weekend in Köln at Adina. The inside garden was amazing in the sun and we enjoyed the omelette made by the lady at the kitchen. Front desk was friendly and helped us a lot.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Adina Hotel Cologne was extremely disappointing. The problems started as soon as we entered the room. Every towel we checked had black marks or stains on it, and there were numerous black scuff marks on the white walls. The cleanliness was far below what I would expect from a hotel of this standard. The most serious issue occurred during check-out. We had an early flight and needed to catch a specific train to the airport. The front desk staff insisted that our booking had not been paid for, despite the fact that our reservation was clearly prepaid. I showed the booking confirmation on my phone, which stated that the booking had already been paid in full, but was repeatedly told that it did not matter what my confirmation showed because their system indicated otherwise. I asked the staff member to check with a manager or colleague because it was obvious that a mistake had been made. This request was ignored. Instead, he attempted to charge my card without my permission. Fortunately, the transaction did not go through. After a lengthy argument, it became apparent that he had initially been looking at a different reservation that did not belong to me. When my actual booking was finally located, it was marked as paid. Despite this, he still insisted that he could not see any payment in the system. The situation only ended after we informed him that we were calling the police. His response was simply, "Maybe you can go, I don't know." The delay caused by this incident made us miss our intended train, and we only managed to catch our flight by rushing through the airport shortly before boarding closed. Being treated as though I was attempting to leave without paying, despite having proof of payment and despite the booking being marked as paid, was deeply upsetting. This was one of the worst hotel check-out experiences I have ever had.
It was great for our stay! Close enough to the city center and very close to the public transport. The studio apartment had all we needed although espresso machine (like in more expensive options) or at least French press in size for two people would be a nice addition.
Nice room with horrible mattress and pillows. Our experience was very mixed. The location of the hotel is convenient. Simply cross the bridge and you’re in the heart of the city. Breakfast was alright and the room was spacious and well maintained. All amenities were present. Unfortunately, our night’s rest was awful. The bed was quite small to sleep two adults, but hey, that’s fine for the night. However, the mattress we slept on was so uncomfortable. The pillows were beyond worn out and flat. Usually hotels beds are super comfy, but this one was simply horrible. Does not live up to the four stars. All in all I cannot recommend this hotel.
