The 25 hours Hotel in Cologne is probably my favorite place to stay while in Cologne. It is super central and full of the charming little details that you would come to expect from a 25 hour hotel the breakfast buffet is amazing. You can even make your own fresh juice there’s a lot of local produce fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, fresh bread. The hotel rooms are super comfortable if any of the Hotel gym is rather basic so don’t expect any weights or anything like that, you can do a decent workout but nothing with machines.
My favorite detail is the amazing view from the top floor, where you have breakfast
We really enjoyed our stay at 25hours Hotel Köln The Circle. The hotel has a great overall feel, modern, spacious and very clean, with rooms that are comfortable and well designed.
The design is definitely one of the highlights. It has a cool retro-meets-hipster style that gives the hotel a lot of character without feeling overdone. The whole place feels stylish but still relaxed and welcoming.
The staff at reception were also super lovely and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable and well-located place to stay in Cologne.
Unfortunately, my stay at 25hours Hotel The Circle was a great disappointment and did not reflect the level of quality I experienced during my previous stays at other 25hours hotels, particularly in Berlin and Copenhagen.
From the moment I arrived, the cleanliness of my room was not satisfactory, with a significant amount of dust throughout the room. Several incidents during my stay then made me feel genuinely uncomfortable and insecure: a bottle of beer from the minibar had been opened and partially consumed before being placed back in the fridge, some of my personal belongings had been moved or spilled, and one of my personal items with great sentimental value went missing from my room.
These incidents made me so uncomfortable that I asked for my room not to be serviced for the remainder of my stay. I even felt the need to leave objects behind the door whenever I left, simply to check whether someone had entered my room in my absence. This is absolutely not something any guest should have to do in a hotel of this standard.
What was even more disappointing was the complete lack of response from the hotel. I sent three emails regarding these issues and asking for a response, and I received no reply whatsoever.
After having had excellent experiences at other 25hours hotels, I can unfortunately say that this property is clearly not up to the standards of the rest of the 25hours brand. The lack of cleanliness, the issues with housekeeping, the feeling of insecurity, and above all the complete lack of communication and consideration towards the guest deeply disappointed me.
I would therefore not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting the level of service and standards they have experienced at other 25hours hotels. This was a very disappointing experience and one that has unfortunately affected my confidence in the brand.
We loved the hotel, a quirky space with lots to offer. The rooms have a nice design and all the ammenities you need. Only thing we missed was a full sized closet but since we only stayed 1 night it was not a problem. The hotel bar was amazing and especially the lovely staff whom were all very warm and welcoming. Location is perfect, about 15 min walk from the cathedral but if you go the other direction within 5 min you will find yourself in other cool areas
All I can say is — I absolutely loved it. Spacious rooms, beautiful details in every piece, and such a creative, cool, and comfortable atmosphere. The location is fantastic, with everything within walking distance. You can even rent a bicycle directly from the reception, which is a great touch.
The breakfast area is such a vibe, especially the terrace with its beautiful city view.
A special thank you to Annika for the smooth check-in and helpful guidance, and to Alex from the breakfast team for taking such great care of us. It was definitely a wonderful experience, and I would happily come back again.
