Discovering Nature In Serra Da Lousã

Absolutely fantastic tour of the Busacco forest. Sergio was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and passionate about nature and the environment, which was exactly what we were looking for. He was very patient and helpful. 5/5 would recommend.

Sergio and Manuel treated me to a wonderful 4WD tour of the mountains around Coimbra. Roe deer, wild boar, rare birds, the scat of a predator, and more! What more does a person need? How about a great visit to a stone village, complete with a stone dog, stone art, and a taste of very local honey. Plus a cup of coffee and a pastel do nata from a stone coffee shop. We also collected digital photos from two trail cameras, hoping to see signs of other important wildlife. Definitely a morning well spent. Thanks, boys!

Sergio is professional, very friendly, has a lot of knolwdge about the nature, the area and it is clear that he loves to guide this tour. We had a wonderful time with him. The tour is very interesting, the views are beautyful. Highly recommanded.

We spent a wonderful afternoon visiting the Serra da Lousã. before going up the mountain sergio and fatima took us to one of the schist villages where we tasted delicious honey. later in the morning we saw several deer and fatima explained to us the various details of the forest. we also had the opportunity to catch a small lizard that sergio spotted. highly recommend it.

Discovering the Schist Villages with Aventura Fortes and having Sérgio as our guide was a different experience! We visited some of the villages that are fantastic and he took us to visit Miranda do Corvo, the city where our great-grandmother was born and it was very exciting! An amazing walk through the Lousã mountain range gave you to appreciate the beauty of the mountain in a completely different perspective. On the way we were presented by some deer which was the cherry on top of the cake.

Sergio is super friendly and available. Has a fantastic eye and a persistence to find the deer and with great success. It took us to the villages of shale, to places we would hardly have had access to and gave us a lot of local information. I recommend!!!!

I loved the walk through the beautiful Serra da Lousa. The guide was tireless and did not listen to a single question that he could not answer. This despite my Cover having done the most various questions. My favorite part was undoubtedly the sighting of deer. Well worth that wait for the words of the sighting. And given the dedication and patience of the guide, we ended up seeing 5 deer. I also liked to know the villages of shale, which I had long wanted to visit. A unique afternoon with two guides who, besides tireless, are extremely familiar with the area. The fauna and flora give up some of their secrets through the words of Sergio and Fatima. After a start that promised no sightings, due to the strong fog - but still full of discoveries of what was around us and at our feet - we had several surprises! All our sightings were memorable. We kept the distance we were advised to, ensuring the animals remained untouched. Meanwhile, we learn to distinguish individuals from their own group and to recognize their habits. The experience of our guides was as fundamental as enriching. Without a doubt it is an experience to repeat!

It was amazing! The proximity with the animals is unmatched, as well as the ability to choose the best place for observing them and interaction with Nature and the knowledge and clarification of doubts about the sites we visited is unbeatable! Super worth it!!

It was a very pleasant tour that included stops to enjoy the landscapes, typical villages of the Lousã mountain range and all the availability to see deer, other animals and listen to the brama. A very pleasant family trip and we recommend for those who have younger children. Beyond nature and surrounding space, the discovery of new species and the curiosity to find the famous deer, made this tour a true adventure.

It was a walk that, among other things, allowed to feel the sublime pleasure of enjoying nature and appreciating the deer in their natural habitat and with a bonus at the end: a family of crabs walking on the road.
