Very scenic ride. - 3 1/2 hours through a beach town and UNESCO site. If you get good weather, which we did, it was an exhilarating journey. Matteo was a good guy. Apple Maps mislead us a little when trying to locate the departure point. But Matteo was on top of communication. He shared local focaccia and “grape juice mid ride as an added bonus.” We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

The tour was excellent! Sabrina and Barbara were both wonderful tour guides. The views are spectacular. The bikes worked well and we had some beautiful stops along the way. I would highly recommend this tour.

Excellent sight seeing trip in Monterosso. If you are looking for something to do this is well worth the trip. Guides are great and go at a good pace. They brought wine and Focaccia bread which was amazing.

We had Matteo as our guide, we went with my husband and our parents. We all had a great time. The ride was so beautiful and the ebike made it easy to go up the hills. We had a couple stops along the way to look at the scenery and Matteo explained some background of the towns. It was beautiful day and the bikes were great. We stopped near the end and had an amazing wine and focaccia.

We had a wonderful 3 hour tour with Barbara and Simone! They were delightful! They were very friendly, knowledgable, and always concerned for our safety.

Our family of five loved our ebike experience. Our kids are 15 years old and they really enjoyed it. I was concerned that the terrain would be too hilly but it was just fine, no problems at all. The views are wonderful. It was fun! It was beautiful! We will definitely do it again. Don’t hesitate to book this tour, it was truly great!

I signed up for this many months ago. As the week arrived the tour operator contacted me by text to ask for a date change. He was easy to work with and worked to accommodate me as I had a tight schedule but it was moved to a day agreeable to all. We had a great excursion and the bikes worked like champs up the LONG and steep hills. Almost effortless. We had enjoyable stops and the focaccia snacks were delicious. The weather was hot but in the shade just perfect. Mateo was very nice and attentive to the group of 6. He was informative. Would recommend!

Extremely poorly managed tour. E bikes not strong enough to safely and adequately ascend the steep, twisty narrow, dangerous roads. Instructions inadequate for how challenging and dangerous this tour really is. Guide left us to fend for ourselves while he took off with the rest of the group many who were also struggling to follow him. The roads around this area are very challenging to say the least no matter what vehicle you are driving (even walking) and very unsafe with the extremely narrow passageways along sheer cliffs. We have owned and ridden e bikes for 20 years (of all kinds) and am very familiar with how they work. The e bikes we were given simply would not climb the demand of the very steep terrain (no matter what gear you were in) and if you had to stop as was the case many times on these steep hillsides to allow cars to pass or to avoid other obstacles, it was basically impossibly to get our ebikes to adequately be able to start up again and to manage to ascend from a start stop position. The bikes are just not able to handle these steep inclines and the very narrow crowded roadways. It's not a matter that we didn't know how to ride an ebike, it was a matter that the ebikes that were given to us were struggling to go up these steep cliffside mountainous roads fast enough to maintain any speed to safely maneuver through complete chaos on these narrow twisty roads. I wanted to request a refund based on the fact that it wasn't our choice to not to be able to participate with this e bike tour, it was an impossibility to successfully participate based on the equipment that was provided to us. The ridiculous slow speed of these ebikes up the hills were too slow to safely manage the obstacles that we had to try and pass to continue with the tour. The guide was so far ahead of us at all times it was also not very well run as far as safety and inclusion in the bike path. We had no idea which direction he even turned as we were beginning our tour because he was so far ahead of us. I can honestly say that especially because we own ebikes and ride them often and have also done many other ebike tours on vacations around the world, this ebike tour was not only extremely disappointing but to be honest, it was so unsafely managed by the local tour company. I fell and hurt my my entire right side. This happened in the first few minutes of the tour and because my ebike couldn't get the speed it needed to ascend up these hills I had to turn back. The tour guide did show up and just kept telling me that my bike was working good. It was clearly not. Same with 2 other people in my group as their ebikes also were acting the same way. We had no choice but discontinue with the tour mainly because of our safety and that the bikes would not allow us to get up these steep hills. I also think this type of tour should have a guide at the back of the group, too, since the narrow twisty steep roads are so extremely difficult to manage (even with well working equipment) with all their twists and turns that when the guide was at the front of our group, he couldn't see what was happening with us at the back and we couldn't even see where he was going because he was out of site. I understand another person in this group also fell on our tour. I deserve a refund based on the fact that we were forced to abandon using bikes that did not allow us to participate in this tour safely but there is no place for me to even voice my opinion to Viator of how dissatisfied we were this this terrible experience. Even though people did manage to complete this tour, I am just honestly telling you of how bad of an experience we had and how poorly managed this tour was for us. In my opinion the tour needs to be managed much more safely with more complete understanding of the rough terrain involved in the tour and the tour company needs to provide working e bikes that allow you to successfully manage this rough terrain. There also needs to be 2 guides to safely manage a group though these very steep narrow roadways. To say the least we were very disgusted and dissatisfied with this tour and anyone thinking of trying it should be aware that you may get ebikes that will not handle the terrain necessary to safely manage this terrain. Safety should be the number one issue offered by a tour company and I feel that this was completely lacking.

You should know how to operate an electric bike. The views are amazing and Matteo is an excellent guide and provides great historical information about the area.

I really enjoyed this adventure. A totally different way to see the Cinque Terre and get away from the crowds. I would say you don’t need to be in good shape (the e-bikes take care of that) but you should be pretty comfortable on a bike because the downhills are fast and the overall pace is steady. However, the guide does wait for all to catch up. Focaccia and wine were a nice touch near the end.

Challenging ride but worth every pedal to see the best views of Cinque Terre. Matteo was a great guide and balanced the multiple languages and skill levels of the group. We learned the history and difference of each town while having fun and enjoying the views.

My daughter and I loved this excursion! Matteo is knowledgeable and made it a great experience. The views from the top are spectacular. We felt we canvased much more of Cinque Terre in our short time there and learned a lot more about it (as opposed to trying to do a hike on our own). Matteo also provided wine and focaccia. Highly reccomend.

The E bikes are not as powerful as the ones as we have at home so it was a lot more effort to bike the hills which is half of the tour

E-bikes were easy to operate. Our guide, Matteo, gave a great overview and clear instructions how to work the bikes. Beautiful scenery! Smooth, easy ride for our group of all ages. Extra bonus of foccocia and wine at one of the stops.

This was an absolutely fantastic experience and a great way to see the Cinque Terre. I recommend having some experience on an Ebike. The road up is very steep, but the views are absolutely amazing. Our guide, Mateo, was terrific. The rest stop, wine, and delicious Focaccia is a nice touch and delicious, too. We really enjoyed this experience and highly recommend it.

4 of us + Matteo. GREAT tour as all day. Yes you are sometimes on the small roads with cars, but it's not bad, these are slow small roads. The info, terrain & scenery are stunning. A GREAT way to wrap your head around CT as a region beyond just hitting the 5 towns... It will really enhance your appreciation of them and the life there.

This e-bike tour from Monterosso was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Italy! The ride took us up into the hills above Cinque Terre, where the views were just breathtaking—terraced vineyards, the sparkling sea, and peaceful little sanctuaries tucked away from the crowds.

Make sure your bike is on turbo… not tour. Then the ride will be fun, exhilarating, and definitely worthwhile. I had my bike on the wrong setting at first, my error. Marco was extremely attentive and fun. I am very glad my husband and I did this Viator trip.

Was our favorite activity we did in all of Italy. Spectacular views. Although you’re on an e-bike, you’re still pedaling to make it go uphill 1,800 feet. You will stop a few times for scenic views.

The bikes were top-notch and made ascending and descending the legendary hills of Cinque Terre a breeze. One of the best parts was getting to see hidden corners of Cinque Terre that most visitors never get the chance to experience. It felt like a true adventure off the beaten path. It went up and down several thousand feet, but it was easy with the e-bike. We had breathtaking views and great weather! Our guides were very helpful, informative and kind!

Buyer beware: Once you ride an e-bike, you may never ride your old bike again. There is something magical about pedaling double the speed with half the effort. Sara was a wonderful guide! She helped our family get situated with the bikes - showing us how to adjust the seat height, shift gears, and operate the electric motor settings - then led us on a scenic tour of Monterosso. I highly recommend this tour if you are in the area!

We have spent 2 weeks traveling through Italy and this bike tour was one of the best experiences of the entire trip. Sara was a wonderful guide and although we are not frequent bike riders, the tour was very doable. The views were breathtaking!

Our guide Paul was fabulous. He was engaging and knowledgeable and over all great. I underestimated how big the mountain was up, but even more so down. The physical dexterity that I required from my hands and wrists to constantly balance and break while going steep down hill was scarier than I expected. I loved the e-bikes and the tour, and the views and the guide! But this specific terrain challenged me in a surprising way. I would consider myself moderately fit, however bikes are not my favorite mode of exercise overall. My partner who likes bikes and is less risk adverse than I, absolutely loved this experience. I did too! But with a few more considerations and cautions.

This was our first time using e-bikes, but my 12-year-old and I had a great time! Andrea was a phenomenal guide, and I would highly recommend both him and this tour!

Guide Paul was kind, attentive and considerate of any questions or adjustments needed throughout. We got our monies worth during the tour, as it lasted 4 hours with several rests for spectacular views, restroom/water and the delicious focaccia/chilled wine near the end. eBike easy to learn and had two zipper packs to carry water/sunscreen, etc.

Paul was our guide. He helped us manage the bikes and made sure that we were safe the entire ride. We saw the most beautiful places and got a good workout (you can adjust the bikes for your style of workout). Pauls kind, intelligent, and fun mannerisms made the experience really special. We got some amazing pics!

All the views! Paul did a great job, he kept the group together and made the ride incredibly enjoyable! You get some of the best views on the way up and down. Seeing the old city of monterosso was amazing! 10/10!!
