Itinerary
Vernazza, one of the most beautiful villages of the Cinque Terre, famous worldwide for its atmosphere and considered a jewel set between sea and rock. Founded around the year 1000, it offers a unique landscape of dry stone walls and vineyards.
the bay of Guvano, a splendid pristine pebble beach lapped by turquoise waters and surrounded by typical Mediterranean scrub. The stop in Guvano is dedicated to swimming and snorkeling; masks and floats are provided on board. After the water experience, prosecco, Aperol Spritz, beer and more will be offered.
Our next stop is Corniglia, the central village of the Cinque Terre, the only one not directly connected to the sea. It stands on a rocky promontory about 100 meters above sea level, in a valley densely planted with vineyards
After taking some pictures, we will reach Manarola, one of the most suggestive and romantic villages of the Cinque Terre. Built on a 70-meter high rock, its colorful houses overlook the sea. The village is characterized by a hilly landscape, with narrow and steep alleys.
After about 10 minutes of navigation, we will arrive in Riomaggiore. The village dates back to the seventh century and is an example of the beauty of the Cinque Terre and their natural environment, dominated by Mediterranean vegetation. The houses are painted in typical Ligurian colors and are two or three stories high.

We had such a fun time on our boat tour. We loved that Andrea stopped at each town for photo ops. He took some great pics of us ! We loved swimming in the grotto and were surrounded by lots of beautiful blue fish.
The boat tour was a great way to see all five cities. You definitely get a great view from the water.
Great way to see Cinque Terre from the water. Way better than one of the big ships. Andea, the captain was informative, super nice and fun. Definitely worth the money!
Andrea was warm, inviting, and an excellent host. The tour was beautiful and we got to learn about the different villages as we sailed close to them. Getting a dip in the Mediterranean was a big bonus! Highly rec!
Once again another cancelled trip . We are here, looking forward a day out .. and they just cancelled … TripAdvisor should do something… obviously they can not get the boat , bus , filled so cancel us … just rubbish .. I have booked 5 tours on this trip , 4 have been cancelled… waiting for the 5 .. disgusting Trip advisor .. sort it out …
This was an absolutely amazing tour of the Cinque Terre by water. The day we were planned to go out, the weather was looking awful and Andrea worked with us to find a time that would still be nice. Can’t recommend this tour enough. 1000/10.
Great intro to all Cinque Terre towns viewed from the sea. Andrea was informative and I had a great time swimming, snorkeling, drinking Prosecco in a fabulous environment
Brilliant experience. Andrea was very friendly and relaxed, The villages look so beautiful from the water, drinks and food provided. Swimming and photo ops, great soundtrack in the boat. Highly recommend Doing this boat tour while in Conque Terre.
We booked this boat tour for six adults as part of our moms 50th bday. It was meant to be a special family experience. Unfortunately, our 1.5-year-old daughter was accidentally left out of the booking. When we arrived and ANDREA noticed we had a child with us, he immediately reacted in an aggressive and unfriendly way, telling us she was not allowed on the boat. We understood the safety rules and just asked if there was any possible solution, as we really wanted to do this boat tour as a family. We we’re even willing to pay extra, but there was no way he was willing to help us. We completely understood and respected the safety rules. Our complaint is not about the passenger limit, but about the captain’s behaviors. We then asked for a few moments as a family to decide who would stay behind with our daughter. Once we had made our decision, we placed our shoes in the basket and were about to board. As i (6 months pregnant), was about to step onto the boat, Andrea suddenly threw my shoes back at me, untied the boat, and drove away - while the rest of our shoes were still on board. We were completely shocked that he simply, aggressively left with our belongings. We have never seen a behavior like this. We had paid for 6 passengers. 5 Passengers we’re ready to board. When we yelled after him, he told us, to go away, he doesn’t want us on the boat. He left with our belongings still on the boat. We all began to call after him, I started crying as I couldn’t believe this was happening. The situation escalated, and the local authorities had to intervene. Thanks to them, they made HIM return to give us our shoes back!! He made our Trip to Monterosso turn into to a nightmare. After everything happened, we no longer felt safe boarding the boat, so we had to cancel this trip. Thanks to the local police who were there, they made him give us our money back. We are so thankful for them. But we would NEVER recommend this person/this Boat tour. We have videos und fotos of all this nightmare! We cannot recommend this experience.
The trip was perfect. Andrea who owns the business and captained the boat was friendly, full of knowledge, attentive and provided drinks and snacks as needed along with3 swimming stop since it was a hot day.
Wonderful way to see the beautiful coast of Cinque Terre, swim in the sea and enjoy a hot June day on boat. Andrea was a great horde. Well worth the $!
The experience was according the reviews. Captain Andrea was a perfect guide and gave us a superb view of cinque terre. Beautiful snorkling places with plenty fishes. We had to return earlier due to a bad weather forecast, again Andrea showed to be concerned about the wellbeing of his guests. Also a nice encounter on board, with a family from Colorado.
Excellent boat trip! The water was amazing and the boat relaxing. I wish we had spent the entire day on the water. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable too!
What a great day on the water!! Andrea was so kind and accommodating, the boat was lovely and the swim spots were perfect for the heat wave!
AMAZING experience. Our original excursion was unexpectedly going to fall on a rainy day but the organizers were proactive and fit us in the previous day for a sunset cruise. The drinks and snacks were above and beyond or expectations. We got a detailed tour of the 5 cities right along the shoreline, got snorkeling time, were able to consistently swim with a school of fish, and got to finish the tour with a perfect sunset. HIGHLY recommend
Fabulous and fun boat tour!! The beginning was a little shaky as it's not clear exactly where or who you are supposed to meet... but once we were on board, it was informative, fun and lots of aperol spritz!
Andrea was great. Friendly, fun and lots of knowledge. Swim was a great break, with aperitifs to keep us hydrated on a hot day!!!
Andre was an amazing guide. He gave us the history of the region while stopping at all the best spots to snorkel. Drinks and chips were great too.
It was a gorgeous day at sea and a wonderful way to spend our last night in Monterrosso. The captain was charming and amenable to our requests (more Prosecco!). The only thing I would change is to book this the first night rather than the last.
We had booked a trip for us and our baby with Viator on Andrea’s boat and he didn’t want to let us aboard. He said we had purposefully left our baby out of the booking and that we would have to take another boat. Andrea wouldn’t listen to us when I wanted to show him that we had booked everything correctly. He was dismissive and rude.
Incredible views you can only see from the water. It was a long tour, but no surprises and it was worth the money. The boat wasn’t overcrowded, there was a nice selection of beverages, and pro tip: when you get the option to go swimming in the gorgeous turquoise water… say yes!
Andrea our captain was great! We were blessed with amazing weather with a beautiful sunset. We would highly recommend this trip!
We had so much fun on our boat tour of cinque terre! Our guide Giandomenico, was great and knowledgeable. The sea was calm, great weather made for the perfect swim through a cave and waterfall. 10/10 would recommend.
I would have given this tour 5 stars, will start with positives, overall, a great trip on the water, our operator was great explaining all the villages, taking photos for us, providing plenty of drinks, spritz, prosecco, beer, water, soda and snacks. Allowed plenty of time to swim and snorkel. The one big negative is getting on and off, it is a very steep step down and up, even those much younger were a bit nervous. You have to step down from a cement wall onto and off the boat. You need great mobility and strength to navigate on and off.
This was a very fun experience. It is a small group tour so you get lots of individual attention from the driver Andrea. He did a nice job of maneuvering the boat to get the best pictures. He was also very kind and took photos for everyone. He gave lots of good information about each of the five towns that we saw. He provided drinks as well as snacks. I would highly recommend this small group boat tour experience. He also communicated very well, and reached out the night before with a photo of the boat and landing area, so it was easy to identify.
Super fun boat trip. Treat of the trip was best focaccia bread in Cinque Terre, a whole pizza box full of delight.
Beautiful boat tour and Andrea was a very fun guide! Knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly with a very beautiful boat. It was nice to be in a small group, and was a great way to see and experience Cinque Terre after having spent the day visiting the cities on foot! I’ll totally be back in the summer when it’s warm enough to swim from the boat :)
Our family had a wonderful experience cruising the Cinque Terre with Andrea. The boat was beautiful and very comfortable. The scenery was amazing and we had a lovely swim and aperitifs along the way. Highly recommended and great value.
Must do in Chinque Terre! Great views, Knowledge guide, snack and drinks provided. Would do again!!!
The tour of Cinque Terre was excellent! Adriana was a great host and tour guide who knew everything about the region. He even have us dinner recommendations for that night in portovenere. We saw every town, swam in the sea, and had some apertifs. It was s very comfortable and enjoyable day and we highly recommend it. Ciao.
We had great weather conditions which allowed us to hit all planned swimming and snorkeling stops. Andrea was great! Very knowledgeable, he gave us great insight about the area and it's history. He served us a local pesto and local bread that were to die for! I highly recommend this tour.
We had the best day. We did the morning cruise and only had 8 people on our boat. So so good. Andrea was amazing and made it such a relaxed trip. Great way to see the 5 villages. Highly recommend
If you’re debating doing this trip - do it. Highlight of La spezia/cinque terre trip! We initially had booked the early time slot but due to poor ocean conditions we had to switch to the sunset cruise, honestly, glad that happened. The sunset was beautiful. Highly recommend. Great value. Prosecco throughout and some good snacks. The guide is very knowledgeable of the area and we learned a lot. We went to a cool swimming spot and got to use the snorkel and swim with fish. Awesome experience, would do it again!
Every stop was beautiful. We enjoyed every moment looking at all of the beautiful towns. Thanks for making our trip so memorable.
What an amazing experience! A must do when in La Spezia. Andrea was an absolutely amazing guide. He made the trip very memorable and would highly recommend to anyone!
Andrea is a great host and guide, the tour covered all of Cinque Terre with a stop in Vernazza which was just long enough to take in the small town and pick up a few souvenirs. The boat was small, but comfortable for small groups.
Little Smart boat Perfect Captain Nice Tour Perfect time for Tour Only 10-11 Persons Sightseeingtour for everybody!!!
LOVED this experience, especially in the hot summer!! Andrea speaks great English & gave us so much insight on the towns we were seeing. We got to hop out & swim a couple of times in the VERY clear blue water!! It’s a small boat though so no bathroom just FYI ;) But seeing Cinque Terre by boat is the BEST way because the coast is beautiful!!!
Fantastic day and experience! The captain Andrea was phenomenal. He was so hospitable and just sweet and professional and try to make it a very special trip. It was an amazing day on the water and I highly recommend!
The visit was canceled due to bad weather. I hope that what I paid will be refunded to me. Ir was a very bad experience
One of the best days of our vacation! Full day on the boat with amazing views! Andrea was a fabulous host and made sure everyone was comfortable. He was incredibly knowledgeable on the history of the area. My husband is still talking about the focaccia! Would book this again in a heartbeat if we returned. You won’t be disappointed! .
Andre was an amazing host on his tour—explaining historical landmarks, geography and way of life. The small tour group size was personal and extremely enjoyable! The option to snorkel was unexpected and the cove was beautiful. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to experience the real Ligurian coast!
For my birthday trip I arranged for a 6 hour trip with my family where they promised “stops in Veranza, 30 minute ice cream break plus three swims in the most beautiful cove”. I brought my small children and parents on this cruise. We were surprised and disappointed that there were no life jackets for the children on board. This trip had been arranged for some time. We had to sit on the floor, no refreshment was offered (after they promised to adjust for gluten allergy-there was no food after all). The captain, Andrea, took my birthday cake and said he would keep it chilled and later handed it to me melted and in a puddle in the bag. No apologies. After one full hour of riding on the floor and wondering when we would see an amazing cove I asked what the plan was. He said we had another hour to make it to our destination. Two hours one way. We told him to cancel his “plan” and made only a stop to use the bathroom. We then requested he take us back to Lerici. He then lifted a bottle of Prosecco and asked if we wanted it. No. We wanted to get off the boat. We stayed put 4.5 of the 6 hour trip but he gladly took the full payment. It felt like a very disappointing, long water taxi trip to nowhere. The children were cold and bored. So were we. Never again. Do not be fooled.
Wonderful welcome, magnificent walks, top navigation, aperitif on board, Andréa explained to us with passion the history of the Cinque Terres national park, it was an extraordinary experience for us. We will not hesitate to return to Andréa to repeat such an exciting day.
We had a little difficulty finding the pickup location. The tour operater had sent a link via What ‘s App, fortunately we did have access to it with our cell phone carrier, if not, we would not have found it. We got there before the boat arrived, and there was no sign for the tour. Fortunately we called Andrea vista What’s App and he told we were in the right place. Overall, the tour was great. The only downside was the stop for lunch. The small town was packed, all of the better restaurants had too long of a wait, so by the time we found a place with availability, we had to get our food to go, and we were not yet at peek season. So as long as you keep your expectations low for the lunch stop, you will have a great tour!
We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Andreas. Wonderful communication prior to our tour. We had a private excursion with our family of six and learned about the history of the small villages of Portovenere and Cinque Terre and stopped for lunch and really enjoyed the towns. Nice little shops and quaint villages. Beautiful to experience this from the water, really a good tour for a relaxing day full of spectacular views, sights and wonderful history. We were able to swim in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, though it was a bit chilly when we visited, but something not to miss. We enjoyed our limoncello and aperitif on the boat, along with fresh focaccia and homemade pesto. The only thing I would suggest is walking through the streets and getting wonderful food to go and sit down with. We had a sit down lunch and the restaurants get quiet busy and noticed many people grabbing food to go, calamari, wraps and handheld lunches. Many places to sit and enjoy the amazing activity of the town.
Andrea was an excellent guide. Very accommodating, informative & friendly. We did the sunset cruise which was fantastic.
Andreas is fantastic and the boat ride was a perfect way to see cinque terre. The inclusion of the stop over allows you to experience the feel of the other terre. Perfect
Andrea was a great host and expert sailor. Knowledgeable and accommodating in every way. The villages are extraordinarily crowded and this was the perfect way to see everything without getting stuck in the crowds.
