Very useful information if you like torture. There is a running theme tho, men of the old ages just wanted women to shut up.

Awesome experience. Audio tour took about and hour and a half and it was worth the price of admission. Interactive and good photo ops.

Seeing all the exhibits was very exciting and informative. I learned extra information about things I learned about previous, which was a pleasant surprise! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

My son found this online and wanted to do it. I grudgingly agreed. The staff could not have been nicer and did their research for the museum. All of the exhibits had an audio guide or placard of who used the method of torture and in what time period (Byzantine, modern day China, etc.). This was quite impressive.

Such a fun and interesting experience

It was a cool experience. They have an app where the recording explains all of the exhibits. Some of the exhibits are interactive which makes it little more interesting. Gift shop is also very cool. Overall a good experience.

The museum has great exhibits and details on each piece. If took our group 23 mins to make it through reading everything.

For a self guided tour it was good. The audio files u can scan with your phone were helpful to describe what you are looking at.

Be sure to mention that the audio tour is on your phone and will require your own headphones or earbuds.

Very interesting. Learned a lot of history had no ideal how bad people were treated back then. I recommend seeing it

I took a solo trip to Chicago based around the Chicago Torture Museum. I was not disappointed! The museum had a spooky vibe to it and there was so much history and information. I enjoyed the interactive spots around the museum alongside the ghost hunting app.

The museum was very interesting. Tour was completely self-guided so I could spend as much time as I wanted. There were a lot of interactive things.

Came upon the medieval torture museum while looking for things to do in the city. Kind of niche idea that is very well done. There is creepy music playing during the door and a variation of pictures and interactive exhibits. You can download the app to listen along to the audio, or scan a QR code to get to the webpage which was super user friendly & were were promptly helped by the front desk staff! Would definitely check it out again.

It was very interesting to learn about the medieval way of tortures, and the photo ops were so fun.

The Medieval Torture Museum is a fun walkthrough. Lots of gore, very immersive & even interactive. Well worth it.

It's pretty small for a museum and a little pricey ($30 a person I believe), but if you are really into medieval times and history of torture then I would suggest downloading the audio guide and doing the ghost hunt to make it worth your while. Very cool and interesting place.
