Informative and hands on experience. We got to play with emf boxes, doweling rods etc. Great mix of haunting stories from different eras of Chicago.
Fun and entertaining time. Cemetery Larry was great. Lots of good information I wouldn’t have learned otherwise.
I really enjoyed myself, I love when they mix ghost stories with historical events. My tour guide was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. Love the fact that it was a small group..
Great leader. He was very personable, knowledgeable and informative. The group overall was a nice bunch of people and I’d go on it again.
Tony was our tour guide and from the very beginning he and what he offered us was amazing! He is crazy knowledgeable, and he is so compelling when he tells his stories. It was such an amazing experience, very affordable, and I absolutely want to do this again with everyone!!! We went with 7 people and it was a really good size, not too big or small for the experience. I almost wish it was longer, but walking like that for more than 2 hours could be overwhelming haha! Thank you for everything, Tony, you were absolutely wonderful!
We had an amazing time on our tour with Tony! Even though we are native Chicago residents, Tony had so many facts and tidbits that we did not know about our own city! One thing I appreciate about this tour is that even though it talks about ghosts, everything is based on true historical facts and stories about Chicago. Tony is amazing!
Our tour guide, Joanne, was so well-informed on Chicago’s history. The ghost hunting tools brought the tour to another level.
This tour was great! My cousin and I had a blast walking around Lincoln Park at night learning the ghost stories rooted in the city’s history. The EMF readers were a plus, and our guide Tony was friendly, informative, and engaging!
Great walking tour with extremely knowledgeable guide. Lots of fun history to learn a lot about Chicago's history while seeing the city life. We had perfect weather for the nighttime tour, but if you’re going at night in fall/winter, be sure to bring layers and wear good walking shoes.
Fun night in Lincoln Park! Tony was great! A wealth of ghost knowledge, he gave us awesome stories and history along with the creepy tour of the cemetery. We had a lot of fun
This was AMAZING!!! Our storyteller/ ghost hunter for the tour was Tony. He was phenomenal! He was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and just overall awesome! The tour did not involve a lot of walking but still included plenty of history and ghosts. I went with my mother who is 75 and my daughter who is 13 and we all thoroughly enjoyed this tour! It really is great for all ages! We can't wait to go on other tours this company offers throughout the city and suburbs! Stop reading reviews and book this tour!
It’s a bit of silly fun to give you something different to do with your evening. There were only three of us on our tour, which helped add to the atmosphere, particularly when we were in the darker and more quiet parts of the tour. You don’t have to be a staunch believer in the paranormal to get something out of it, but even if you are a sceptic, the guide’s enthusiasm for the subject and personal stories at least give you a window into how people can be into that kind of thing.
This tour was great! Joanne was very sweet and knowledgeable. Not only regarding the history of the sights we visited, but in her knowledge of the ghost-detecting equipment and engagement with spirits. It was really cool! Highly recommend.
This was a really fun tour! Joanne was lovely and shared a lot of fun ghost stories. It was very exciting to detect and communicate with spirits at the baseball fields. We met/learned a bit about a woman named Susan and another woman!
Said it started and returned at the same place so parked car .2 miles from meeting place. Half way through tour guide said it ended about 1.2 miles away from the beginning. I had three grandchildren with me and we had to walk 1.2 miles at 10:30 at night to our car. Also been to better haunted tours who were great storytellers. Only average
Guide was an amazing story teller! I really enjoyed the zoo part and what use to be a cementary. Loved it
Joanne was a good guide. Friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed her tour very much. We covered about 7stops and we earned a lot. However, the tour info was misleading. This tour do not bring you back to Chicago history museum. I ended up pay $8 for Uber.
Loved learning the history of the park and Chicago in a very unique way. The claims found in the zoo were also very interesting to hear about
Ever meet somebody who knows tons of history but doesn't come off as condescending or arrogant? Tony Szabelski is that guy! Even if you don't believe in ghosts, this is a great way to learn about local history. Tony's a great storyteller, but he's also happy to answer questions. We signed up for this tour just to have fun (which we did), but now I feel that without it, our visit to Chicago would have been incomplete.
My wife and I had a fantastic time. Tony was our guide; a very interesting and knowledgeable man who kept us engaged throughout the entire tour. Highly recommend!
The tour guide was amazing and great with sharing historical information about the area, gangsters and those living in the area.
If you're expecting ghosts, you might want to skip this tour. But if you're looking for a mix of historical tales, gangster escapades, and some downright ludicrous stories, you're in for a treat! This tour, marketed as a haunted ghost investigation walk, took a delightful turn we didn't see coming. Our guide had us chuckling and gasping with tales that spanned from fascinating historical facts to thrilling gangster legends, topped off with some hilariously absurd stories that were too good to be true. Forget the ghosts; the real magic is in the storytelling. If you love history served with a generous side of humor, this tour is a must. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a good laugh and an even better story!
Tour guide was knowledgeable and it was a nice night walk around Lincoln Park. If you like ghosty things, you’ll surely enough the tour!
Such a fun fact filled tour of our amazing City’s history. Guide was great and would highly recommend
I loved hearing the history of the mobsters while seeing the historical sights of some them. It was also fun to use some of the tools our tour guide Tony brought to enhance the experience.
The tour guide was fantastic so knowledgeable so many stories loan out some EMF ours had some very interesting signals as well as some apps on our phone even though I grew up in Chicago driven through Lincoln park so many times I had no idea the story behind it
We had a great time with Tony. We learned all the reasons why Lincoln Park is so haunted. It was a pleasant walk, we learned a lot about Chicago going back to before the Civil War. He even threw in the Chicago vampire hunt of 1888. Really had a great time and would highly recommend the walking tour.
The tour guide, Tony was extremely helpful and informative while on the tour. He allowed us to see and guess what kind of historic and spiritual events have happened in and around Lincoln park! Using the EMF readers were the most interesting and fun things to use throughout the tour. I would recommend Tony for future tour guides!
I loved the history and the entire experience. I went with my husband and our 12 year old daughter and we all had a good time and learned a lot about the history of the Lincoln Park area. It was fascinating.
We loved hearing all about the history behind the haunts. It was so cool to be so completely immersed in the experience. By getting to use the equipment it added a whole different layer to the overall experience! We have already recommended the tour to our family and friends and will also be back for other tours that you guys offer!!! Thanks for an amazing night out on the town for us!!
This tour was awesome Tony explained everything and was great. I'm going to look up other tours that he does.
Tony was a great tour guide. He knew the history, the tall tales, and had a great sense of humor. The gadgets provided made for a more immerse experience!
We loved Tony! Very knowledgeable about his city. It was a great way to learn about Chicago’s earliest history and it’s creepy and darkest past. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tony gave us such a great, informative, interactive tour that I couldn't believe three hours had flown by! A wonderful host who weaves the tour around our group's interests and everyone one felt involved and engaged.
A great tour. Our guide was a wealth of history, humor and friendliness. He was happy to answer any questions we had.
We had a wonderful time with Tony, our guide. He knew his facts and presented them well. We were most surprised to learn that there are still bodies in Lincoln park but learning the facts as they were presented it makes sense. Thanks again for an enjoyable evening.
We had such a great experience! Our tour guide, Tony, was extremely knowledgeable of the area and the history of the area. Had a decent amount of paranormal activity happen during the tour. I will definitely go on more tours related to this! Be prepared to do lots of walking!
I love the history and our guide was very knowledgeable. He brought the history to life! A very good tour overall.
Fun and spooky tour with a lot of historical facts! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was great at telling stories of old Chicago!
Tony was very knowledgeable snd went into great detail about Lincoln Park’s checkered past. He passes out ghost hunting equipment and truly gets you involved in the experience.
My first lenguaje is not English, so it was really helpful that the guide speak really clear and slow!
This tour was filled with a significant amount of Chicago history to include the paranormal. It was a great balance of walking and exploration. For those skeptical, try it and see if you feel the same at the conclusion of the scenic walking tour. You will also get a little insight on the mob activity of the twenty’s and thirties. It’s encouraged to take this tour in the evening during the spring/summer as the temps were as good as the tour. Thank you Tony giving us a great experience that will be remembered for a long time.
The Lincoln Park ghost investigation tour was awesome. The tour guide, Tony, was great. He shared so much information about the history of Chicago and Lincoln Park, and allowed everyone to use his paranormal investigation equipment throughout the duration of the tour. I would highly recommend this tour, it is worth the money.
Our tour guide did a great job giving us historical information on the Lincoln Park area, while mixing in the actual ghost hunting and using devices. I've lived in Chicago my whole life, and definitely learned a lot of new things. Really fun tour and a great way to learn something different about Chicago.
Very informative!! Learned a lot about the city, some creepy tales, and interesting mob tales. My friends and I had a great time!
The tour was well worth the money spent. It was enjoyable for the whole family and very educational as far as the history of Chicago. The stories of the cemetery and how the bodies were moved was my favorite. Don’t forget the ghost part of the tour. You could really feel the expense of what had happened here and why there are still hauntings there. The tour guide was full of information and even handed out devices for us to hold and try out for ourselves. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone and I would always ask for Tony to be your guide. No one could do it better!!!
