Flyover In Chicago

Amazing experience, so much fun! Flyover Chicago is a must-try and the perfect date idea or family outing!

It was very fun and exciting. It actually caught you off guard of what you think it will be. I recommend everyone to try it, you will not be disappointed.

With just a quick two-day trip to Chicago, we wanted a fun group experience that would let us see the entire city efficiently. This was such a unique and immersive ride; it wasn't a real flight, but it absolutely felt like it! It was the perfect way to catch all the major landmarks with friends while making the absolute most of our limited time.

The docent was great, Very knowledgeable and funny, By going into the lake we were able to admire the beautiful skyline

Flyover is an indoor simulated flying experience at Navy Pier. You're suspended in moving seats in front of a massive curved screen, with wind, mist, sound, and other effects making you feel like you're soaring over Chicago Incredible views of Chicago's skyline and landmarks. Feels similar to Disney's Soarin' ride. Great indoor activity when Chicago weather is cold. Exciting visuals and realistic motion effects.

It was an experience!!!! Everyone that’s visits Chicago should definitely experience the fly over it was beautiful !!

Maybe a little more description of what to expect. More explanation of the movements as if riding the front seat of a roller coaster.

The skyscrapers were bent which really spoils the effect. The image was out of focus which was also distracting. Overall definitely something that upu can give a miss. Much too expensive for the experience

Experience would have been better if the black young man wearing the durag, on the second floor at 2:30pm April 12th, 2026, telling everyone what number to stand on, was not so rude. I understand that he may have been frustrated, but I only asked him where to stand. People were everyone with little guidance. My sisters brought me for my birthday, the visuals were beautiful, and I am definitely a proud Chicagoan. It is important for the staff not to ruin the experience, that does not last long enough, by being rude. Both myself and another woman spoke up about the rudeness of the young man.

Its located at the navy pier. Parking was $35. They take you through 2 rooms first before the actual room. The experience is about 15 mins. The kids enjoyed it.

Absolutely unexpected experience, love the introduction. Well thought out view of our city!!! A must do adventure for all.

At first I was scared and nervous but then I was like this is cool. My boyfriend loved it and we might do it again. My only knit pick was how long it took to board the ride but great time flying over Chicago lol I had one eye open it felt to real for me

Flyover is a must when visiting Chicago, especially for the first time! So far it bas been the highlight of our trip!

The breathtaking scenery, incredible visuals, and sensation of soaring through the air made it feel like I was actually flying. Whether you’re visiting Chicago or live in the area, this is an attraction you shouldn’t miss. I would absolutely do it again. I only wish it lasted a little longer.

So actually this is our hometown me and my husband we still reside here however, this was our first time. From the beginning until the end I love how we were given a presentation and the breakdown of what our beautiful city Chicago is like. And how we are believers and how we strive to make it and keep pressing. We reeeeaaaaallly enjoyed the Fly Over part it was so amazing we will definitely be back I can't believe it took us this long to do this the customer service was amazing as well everything was tip too notch quality.Agaun we will be back thank you all so much for your hospitality.

It doesn’t go around ,so you won’t get dizzy. It’s similar to a roller coaster ride. It shows the beauty of the city

Don’t go if you’re afraid of heights or get motion sickness, have epilepsy, don’t like flying, don’t like rollercoasters. This was trippy! Everyone else in my group loved it. It’s definitely a way to see all of Chicago! It was a cool experience!

This was a super realistic ride with great sites and views. Can't wait for them to do more cities. Definitely recommend

Very exciting experience; you do feel like you are flying above the city. I had the Chicago experience. Went with friends, including a 12-year-old, and we all had an amazing time. Ideal for all ages. We had little waiting time, and the process for getting in felt fast and smooth. The staff was very receptive and helpful. I have no negative comments.

Ive tried multiple tourist attractions to get a good view of Chicago and this was by far the best way. Would recommend

My youngest wouldn't be admitted to ride and I couldn't get a refund for her ticket and I had to miss out on the ride too because I had to stay with her

This was a beautiful way to experience the city and to learn a little history of the city. The ride was thrilling and fun. I would definitely do it again!

It's fun, but very short. Would like the flyover to have been over more Chicago neighborhoods. I think it would have been a more holistic experience.

Ride got canceled and you charged me twice and I have yet to get a refund. I was told it would be refunded automatically

It went terrible. We had a ride scheduled for 11:15 and they had us go through the whole prescreening presentations all to find out the ride was experiencing visual and audio issues and we would not be able to go on our allotted time slot. They then escorted us out and was told to go to box office for a refund or reschedule. Being in town for just one day kind of cancelled out being able to reschedule for another time or day. And I have to wait for a refund for about a week. Terrible experience.

If you’re good with heights and motion, it is an AMAZING experience and way to see downtown Chicago. I recommend doing Flyover after you’ve been around downtown. day or two so you recognize some of the buildings as you fly. The one thing that would make it better is if they had a little better customer service and communicated about the number of stairs or even verbally offered an elevator option instead of just ushering everyone to the stairs. There are already a lot of stairs in Chicago so taking what seemed like 2-3 flights of stairs (as in going down to the L) was a surprise. The ride made up for this. It was so cool to fly all around the riverfront and downtown area. At one point, I put my hands in the air because it felt like we were on a rollercoaster drop. So much fun!

The experience was terrible! Went all the way there for the machine not to be working. We couldn’t do the experience due to technical difficulties. Have to get a refund to plan for a different day. Upsetting experience

BOOK IT!! It was so fun! My husband and I enjoyed it. The most realistic experience ever. I would definitely book again.

It was a very nice way of seeing the city. We did this after taking the architectural cruise so it was nice flying over the buildings we had seen from the river earlier that day.

It was absolutely amazing even better than what I expected. I actually wanted to go again right after. The experience overall felt so well and it was a 10 out of 10.

Absolutely a treat for your senses and worth the money! We did the double-feature (Chicago + Canadian Rockies), and found the Chicago one more fascinating. Every major city should have the same attraction! Online booking was easy, admission was quick and orderly. You can bring in a purse or small back-pack. Take a motion-sickness pill before going, if in doubt.
