Easy to use and make your reservations. Great value, Worth it and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Chicago
The best value ever! Do it! We hit the architecture, river, cruise, sky, deck, aquarium, field Museum, and art Institute.
I thought it was a good value and very convenient. Download the City Pass app - you need to make reservations for some of the attractions. I did the Field Museum, Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium, Boat Tour, and Sky Deck.
Great way to see multiple chicago highlights with a one stop booking. We were able to see both the skydeck on sears and 360. VIP queues where available. Griffin museum had the space simulator ride available. The aquarium was awesome. Ability to pick what you like from the list was great and the booking and rebooking flexibility
This was so so worth it! We did 5 things and saved a ton of money and time bc of the express line at the Sears Tower. We prob saved an hour and a half not waiting in line for the elevator and the ledge.
The CityPass is a great way to see Chicago! It saved us a bundle and we saw things we may not have otherwise visited because they were included in the cost of the pass.
The Citypass was absolutely worth it, if you're doing things on the list. We got entry into multiple things free with the pass, and ended up paying for itself. Highly, highly recommend for Chicago if you're doing tourist stuff!!
The City Pass in Chicago helped our family save money, get some enhanced features, and experience the top attractions we were interested in. The app was easy to use and connected all our tickets in one place. I would definitely purchase again for another city.
Horrible experience because I didn't go! My credit card was hacked and someone else enjoyed this experience. :(
Science and Industry was the best, closely followed by the Field Museum. The Adler Planetarium was a bit smaller than I expected, so only need to plan ~2 hours
Purchased the C3 pass for two adults and one child direct from CityPass website. In practice we did not save any money!! However we did get motivated to schedule our vacation days . I think the key to saving money is to choose your attractions wisely as some places are more expensive than others, and those are the ones you’d want to use the pass for. We used our C3 pass for the Shedd Aquarium, the Willis Tower SkyDeck and Ledge, and the Museum of Science and Industry. The latter is not an expensive ticket, so we should have chosen something else.
Loved the City pass and the expedited lines that allowed us to make the most of our time in Chicago (no waiting in long lines). We had 5 days to see the sites and were able to plan all of our activities before we even arrived in Chicago. We stayed at the Sheraton Grand Riverwalk near Navy Pier over July 4th weekend.
City Pass is a great way to see Chicago if you know you are going to some of the most popular museums (Field and Shedd) and then allow for some other excursions that you wouldn’t necessarily want to pay full price for (Skydeck, Architecture Cruise) but were still enjoyable and save some cash overall. The Adler Planetarium was a nice find. I would not use for the art institute if you have kids under 13 as they get in for free.
Great Value for the money. We did the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Art Institute, Shoreline Architecture River cruise, and Willis Tower Ledge. The CityPASS app was very helpful, and we had no problem using the entrance passes from the app or our Apple Wallet. I took a little joy in skipping the long line to the Art Institute that had accumulated at opening time the morning we visited. All of these attractions were top-notch!
This is worth it. Several things to do
Overall, Good experience. No extra addmision fee. I completed all within 2 days. I missed the zoo, which is free of cost, so everone please dont miss that oppurtunity.
This pass was a great value! We had four days and visited several museums, the aquarium, the Sears (Willis 😑) Tower and took a boat ride. It arrived in my inbox right away and it was easy to make reservations for the locations that required it.
Great value for money ! Highly recommend this pass, lots of choice of dates the time of year I went, easy to book and reserve your spot! I’d planned my trip with most of the attractions then discovered this pass, I saved quite a lot of money
It provided good savings, but there are some issues. They have a 3 visit and a 5 visit. Its not obvious which works out for you, especially after their conditions and restrictions. Unless you are travelling in extremely peak season, you are fine just buying this at the last moment. Due to rain, snow and fog a lot of attractions were closed. We couldn't use our pass and there's no refund.
Excellent experiences at all of the attractions. Expedited admission was helpful. Very easy to use tickets in the app. Very easy to reserve admission times and make additional reservations using the app. Highly recommend the city pass. Great discounts offered for the tickets and add ons.
We bought the 3-attraction pass because our stay was shorter. I use the pass to enter the Skydeck, the Art Institute, and the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry. Overall, I think it's a great deal if you know in advance which places you want to visit.
Easy, the app is marvelous and it was fun yo do everything. Also to have the fast pass for the entrance just because we got the citypass
Went with my dad and found many of these activities to be entertaining in my time in Chicago. If you like history and viewing many things in a short time I would definitely recommend.
Worth price if you’re a first time visitor going to multiple places in the city . It is a better deal than to buy separate tickets for each attraction.
I can’t recommend CityPass highly enough. As well as being great value for money, it was so easy to use and was full of hidden surprises during my trip to Chicago, such as priority access to the Skydeck and access to all exhibitions at the Field Museum. There are no hidden costs and it made planning my brief visit really easy as I could pick an attraction or two and then build a day around it
Chicago Pass is great way to save money and see the sights. We did the 5 sights and it was easy to use and cost effective.
Amazing options offered by this CityPass. All attractions are incredible! Totally worth it! Don't miss it!
BEWARE this does not cover the Planetarium nor the Art Institute. Could be a waste of money. Add the cost first. I was adding it all up. Wish I would’ve finished. Doing that.
Well worth the money, get to see so much and save money on the passes. Great variety to choose from too. Good for families.
It was nice looking at all the buildings at night. The night was beautiful. The weather was great, with a cool breeze.
We had a blast! Willis Tower was really cool. Field Museum is massive, it takes a very long time to get through. The aquarium was a hit with everyone. The architecture boat ride was amazing! I wish I could remember it tour guides name. He had such a wealth of knowledge about all of the current, past, and future buildings and he was hilarious to boot. If you do it at sunset you get to see some pretty incredible views of the city. We ran out of time and weren’t able to do all 5 attractions.
We bought this pass to visit the sights of Chicago. It was easy to use on your phone and have the venues scan the code on the phone for us to get in. It also saved us money.
Our experience was frustrating We faced difficulties locating the destinations for the various activities due to the fact that direction wasn't provided. We could only do the skydeck and the shoreline sites seeing River Tour.
Our flight was delayed a day we used the pass to do the ledge, chicago 360 and the aquarium. It was a great way to quickly see the city with the use of the hop on hop off bus as well.
I'm a grandmother in her 60s who took her 12-year-old grandson to Chicago for 3 days and two nights. We stayed downtown at the Holiday Inn Express on Wabash. We bought a two-day pass on the big red bus ride, which saved us in cab fees & was quite enjoyable; it's not fast, so if you're on a schedule, might want to grab a cab. We walked all over the downtown day and night and never once felt threatened or unsafe. We observed the same common sense safety precautions we would in any urban or rural area. Check out the "free days" for museums if you are an Illinois resident. That saved us quite a bit of money at several of the museums; it will be a little more crowded on those days during the summer. We tried something different called The Underground Donut Tour, which I highly recommend! It was a 2 mi, 2 hr guided walking tour where you got to sample donuts and listen to an entertaining guide talk about the history and architecture of the city. Be sure you go in the morning and skip breakfast! We took Amtrak into Union Station. Can't wait to do it again!
So easy to use. Was able to reserve attraction times ahead and it made it super easy to check in. Saved a lot of money because it paid for itself after 3 visits.
Citipass is totally worth the money. VIP treatment that allows you to skip the very long lines at Willis Tower made it worth while just for that! We also did the 360 Observation, Art Institute and the Aquarium. I will definitely look for Citipass when I travel to other cities.
Nice cost saver able to skip some lines. Options of activities to do was very good. Our 17 and 18 year old granddaughters loved the activities
We enjoyed all of our adventures and were able to get the shows we wanted at the venues. Appreciate the expedited lines, too.
Pretty easy to use with the CityPASS app. Great having priority and expedited line access where available. Tickets on app easy to show and scan at venues. Nice option to change timed entry and dates with the app.
I can’t recommend this pass enough! We had never purchased one until our trip to Chicago 2 weeks ago, and we were impressed with the amount of money we saved and how easy it was to use. The app will tell you what is required for each activity, so read carefully because a couple of places do require an advance reservation. However, it appears as though it would be easy to change a reservation if needed. Customer service is super helpful and quick to respond if needed, so you can be confident that someone can help you with these tickets should you need it. With some planning, you can fit a lot of activities that you might not otherwise be able to afford into your trip. We will definitely look to see if other places we plan to visit in the future offer this pass.
Just make sure you wear a hat for the sun. The buildings are beautiful, and we had a funny but knowledgeable tour guide. Never seen the buildings from that direction before, and we live in chicago. Its a must see !
I can not express how much we love City Pass! We have used it in Chicago (twice), Atlanta, New York City, and Seattle. Whenever we go somewhere, I check to see if there is a City Pass. You really can't beat the price and what you get! I recommend it often!
The experience using the pass was poor and clearly not enough information. This was the fault of Viator. We were missing an email from them apparently. We called City Pass for help. No phone number for Viator. The pass itself was wonderful after you got it to work.
Skydeck was amazing experience! We still much more of Chi to discover.. definitely recommend the city pass
Absolutely loved Chicago. Such a beautiful friendly city with lots to do. Always felt safe and lots of choice of food places and things to do
This was a smart purchase! We totally used it and saved money and time. We started our week on Tuesday with the Shoreline Architecture River tour. Then went explored the city and headed to the Willis Tower Skydeck (also using the CityPass) . Wednesday we went to the Field Museum in the morning, the Shedd Aquarium in the afternoon and the Adler Planetarium in the evening. Since they are all next to each other, it was easy.
It was good. I used this pass ticket to see the observatory and the boat tour museum, and I was so satisfied!
We experienced 5 amazing Chicago attractions that we may not have all done in one trip! Great experience for a great price!!
