Both Hayley (bus tour guide) and Dylan (boat guide) were brilliant. Very interesting and knowledgeable. Excellent introduction to Chicago.

The more personalized bus tour was cool because of the extra care she took but the weather was nice enough to be on an outside bus. Appreciated the flexibility for sure, Haley was great :) The architectural tour was awesome, Dillon was very entertaining & knowledgeable!
We did the bus and boat tour immediately following. They were both super informational. Haley was our guide on the bus. We got to see so much of downtown that we wouldn’t have had time to explore otherwise. She was very knowledgeable, kind, and happy! We loved the smallness of the group and being able to get off the bus at multiple places. Sadie was our guide on the boat. She mixed information with jokes which made it very interactive and fun and time went by so fast. Highly recommend both!
Had a wonderful time. Lots of great information and sights to see.
Top notch tour guide. Excellent overview of downtown Chicago architecture and history. Stunning views, perfect weather.
Ok tour. Only 3 stops on it but lots of information given about other buildings. Both the bus tour guide and boat announcer were nice, friendly and funny.
The bus tour and boat tour were both awesome. The guides were friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. Great time overall, highly recommend!
Haley, our driver/guide, was wonderful! She was very professional, courteous, knew her information, and was very enthusiastic. She was also a good driver! We would highly recommend this tour!
This city tour was terrific! Our guide, Avery, was very informative and shared highlights of Chicago's history. He packed a lot of great stories into our tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
We booked the city tour with the architecture river cruise option and it was well worth it! The minivan tour covered so much ground that we wouldn't have been able to see on foot, and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. The river cruise afterward was the absolute highlight—stunning views of the architecture and a very engaging guide on board. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chicago for the first time!
Interesting and informative tour of Chicago. Knowledgeable guides.
Rick was very knowledgeable of the city and pretty funny. He is very patient too. We really enjoyed this tour with him!!
Even if you have seen the architecture from the street the river gives a very different perspective. Highly recommended
Great tour - showed lot of places plus the addiiton of boat tour was great. They showed lot of landmarks and places around Chicago.
Great guides, comfortable, and educational! The only issue was where the listing says the boat drops you off wasn’t accurate. So call ahead to verify. Otherwise it was a great way to spend an afternoon.
The booking said we would get a 2-4 hour tour of this great city of Chicago and we got less then 1 1/2 hours. It said we would be stopping at 3 places and we only stopped at two. The guide used a lot of swear words and not many happy things to say about Chicago…only gloom and doom. I will be thinking twice if i ever book through trip advisor again.
Invaluable experience and well worth the time and money. Avery on the coach and Kevin on the boat were superb in knowledge and delivery.
The Chicago City tour coupled with the Architecture River Boat tour were great back to back tours. We had a short stay in Chicago but both these tours gave a brief overview of the city, its history, architecture richness, tidbits a stories and city suggestions on the bus portion by Aron were very helpful. We saw areas we would have never seen on our own or riding around town on an Uber. We had bad weather (rain) on the river tour and we were actually surprised the boat tour was a go rain or shine . Very wet onboard, very little coverage on the boat- even though they offered us a free plastic tarp to wear for the tour, it was quite wet, and a bit chilly (for July!) bring your own umbrella and rain gear if you go on a rainy day. Hard to see the buildings our guide was showing us, but not her fault. I’d go again, but only if good weather is guaranteed.
Rick was an absolutely phenomenal guide! He was knowledgeable, friendly and FUNNY! This is a great whistlestop tour of the city and I am glad I booked it last minute!
Rick was an amazing tour guide. He was funny and very informative. He covered lots of history and showed us much of Chicago in a small time.
The bus part of the trip was great. Driver Avery amazing and funny too great day out the boat tour guide was gods but when I asked where a building was she was like I never heard of that and snubbed me . But sure did want a tip
Alan was great during the city tour. He knew all kinds of information and quirky things about Chicago. On the Architecture Boat Tour, Kevin kept us laughing and all sorts of knowledge about buildings and Chicago lore.
Avery was a fantastic tour guide on the city tour; Kevin was most entertaining on the Architectural River cruise.
Not much to it Was disappointed. Avery did well with the history of The Palmer Hotel and getting us a fantastic view of the Chicago skyline.
I definitely recommend the van and water tour. Our tour guide, Avery, was very knowledgeable and his stories made the trip interesting and fun. The trip on the tour boat was beautiful! The buildings were stunning and Eric did an excellent job. If you want to get a good overview of Chicago and plan for return trips to areas of interest this is the tour for you. Chicago has so many wonderful places to see and so much history, art, and beautiful parks!
Excellent tour guides. Love Chicago.
Great tour guide the information was very informative. The van and boat was comfortable, clean and well maintained.
The overall experience was great. Rick (our driver & host) was fun and very professional. We all enjoyed the tour & would recommend.
Bring a jacket...the boat is a lot colder than the van...haha The bus part was informative and the boat portion was lovely - our guide really knew his buildings which gave a nice history to the city.
Bus tour with Al was entertaining and he was most helpful. The riverTour was busy we and sat below deck
Bus driver was so knowledgeable and entertaining. It was a great overview of the city with intriguing stops.
Tour was excellent and guide very knowledgeable, but I do object to his choice of inappropriate language several times.
Our tour guide Avery was exceptional. He was very Informative and yet tried to keep us engaged even though so much information in a short period of time. He was also funny. Great sites. Also he was a careful driver.
Avery was an excellent guide. He had tons of interesting and informative stories about Chicago. Great way to see the local sites and learn a lot of history!
This was a good experiences-Avery made it fun and engaging for us- he answered all our questions gave tips
Rick was amazing… great job! Funny, charismatic, but not overly so. Would highly recommend. Five stars all the way.
Avery was awesome and so accommodating! The tour is so convenient and takes you to the iconic spots as well as the option for the boat tour! Thank you again!
I grew up in Chicago and took a friend who just immigrated to the US, to see Chicago, his new city. Avery has so many wonderful Chicago stories and made the tour very enjoyable! I even learned more about my city.
Comical and educational all at once. Avery was a great your guide. Wonderful way to learn and see the Chicago sights on a cold rainy day!
Alan was a great tour guide - lots of fun information and entertained all of our questions. It was my 17 year old daughter’s first trip to Chicago, so I wanted her to get to see as much of the main parts of the city as possible, and we definitely hit all the ones I had on my list! The bus itself was clean and well cared for, and I like that it was smaller than the other buses because it made it much more personal. Alan also had great recommendations for places to go, where to eat, and was able to give ideas for spots that were of interest to us specifically. Highly recommended!
Rick was very friendly and informative. Took us to all the points of interest. Some to stop for photos other time as a drive by
Great experience. Really good guide. Was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Very funny too. I recommend.
Great overview of Chicago. Enjoyed our guide, Rick. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely recommend doing if you have never been to Chicago.
My family and I had the best time! Rick did such a fantastic job in showing us around Chicago and learning about the history of such a marvellous city! A 10/10 tour will definitely be coming back to do again
Great tour guide, very knowledgeable and fun. Small bus was clean and comfortable. It was very cold in January so this was a great way to see the city and highlights and get some good insight to places you may overlook.
Avery was really great need to keep him around. loved talking before leaving and after. worth every [penny i gave him a very good tip!!!
Love all the information of the buildings’ history! Seeing them in one area was amazing! The tour took about an hour. I didn’t visit the bar/cocoa area downstairs but it’s great that they have one. The guide was funny and friendly. He interacted with us as well. Once trip was over, he stood by to say bye to everyone. I would do it again!
Avery was our guide and he was great. Very good knowledge of the city and the communication was excellent.
Guide was very friendly, fun, and knowledgeable! He really knows the bottom line of Chicago’s history and down town architecture! Will recommend!
Avery was great! He knew a lot of interesting information. He was extremely informative. Avery was helpful with everything!!!
