Rooms were terrible. Like a college dorm room. Not worth the $400 per night and that was the room block rate. When I checked in they told me they were giving me the best room they had available. Well if that was the best, I would hate to see what the others were like. Both nights, very early in the am (like around 4), a garbage truck was outside our window and very loud. The room was not consistent with all of the other/common areas of the hotel which present as a nice upscale hotel.

Location is great, service is was good in person. Can't get to front desk very well - booking is outsourced and not empowered to do anything online. The bed was ROCK hard - my wife had surgery on her neck and is more sensitive to hard beds. She couldn't stay there again after one night. We explained this to the desk at around 4pm they said well since it's past 3pm nothing we can do - not a shift to a different room - just is what it is. Checkin process was good.
I would never book the emily hotel again in my entire life. I’ll start by saying I booked this hotel 3 months prior to the day before my wedding on Expedia. We were assured that we had the 750 sq foot room over the phone with the hotel more than 3 times, when we got there we were given a 400 sq ft room for about 10 people getting ready in one room. 10 people in one room getting ready for a wedding is unacceptable. When we went into the room there was 0 regard for us getting married. The manager LEO was talking in circles about how they don’t have anything to do with Expedia (they do) you can book a hotel room through them. The best the manager could do was try to give us $100 back from the room we booked to have and an $100 bar credit. Sorry that won’t suffice. They assured my husband after he saw the “manager” in the elevator that ANOTHER manager was going to be downstairs at 7 am to speak to him (mind you my MUA was coming at 730 am ). The manager was there at 7 am but didn’t come to talk to my husband until 730 am . He did come move us to another room that supposedly someone “didn’t check in for” the night before. The carpets are foul and the beds are uncomfortable. I also tried to order room service and they don’t offer that. This is the opposite of a luxury hotel they should make the place into air bnb’s
Booked the largest suite the hotel had so we could stay the night before our wedding and so my wife and her bridesmaids could get ready in the room. We booked this four months in advance and confirmed with the hotel and Expedia to ensure we were getting the correct room, and everything was confirmed. The night before the wedding, we came to check in and they gave us a small room. They then told us there was nothing they could do, and even though they and Expedia had confirmed the correct room, they claimed it wasn’t their fault and there was nothing they could do. Talk about terrible hospitality. We even told them it was our wedding, and they didn’t even write a little card or anything. They gave us a room where we couldn’t have the bridal party get ready, nor could they even offer a place for them to get ready. If you have a special day or reservation, I would rethink spending it here, because they will probably mess it up and ruin your day like they did ours. Such a disappointment on what should be a very try special day for my wife and me. We now have to scramble and find a plan the night before our wedding. Thanks for nothing.
My room was clean, comfortable and large. The design was minimalist. There were plenty of outlets which I appreciated and the lighting was fine but not great. Having some drawer space would’ve been nice. The staff was friendly and the location was great.
