Sentral Michigan Avenue

I booked this place 1 or 2 days before a last minute trip as it was closest to my business. I wasn’t quite sure if it was a hotel or air bnb. I arrived and was promptly greeted by the staff. I was early so they stored my bags while I walked around. This seems to be a high rise apartment building. And maybe a few of the lower floors or apartments that aren’t leased, are placed in travel sites to reserve. There’s some wear and tear upon the entrance. The decor and furniture can be updated and cleaned. Next I went up to the 1 bedroom apartment not knowing what to expect. The apartment was surprising a really nice size. It was clean and offered all the essentials one would expect from renting an apartment. Dishes, towels etc. Tv had all the streaming partners. Plenty closet space. Could be good for even a short term stay. No complaints. I’m as “bougie” as they get and was very comfortable in my 1 bedroom apartment.

I would like to thank the staff, from the from desk people such as Peace, Loutz, and particularly Matt. They made me feel at home. The service was exceptional and rooms were amazing. From the moment I called to inquire about room availability to arriving at the hotel, the experience could not have gone any better. I definitely will come back.

I had an excellent stay at Sentral Michigan Avenue during my trip to Chicago. The cleanliness was honestly top-notch, and the apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. It felt like having a complete little home rather than just a hotel room, with a fully equipped kitchen and everything we needed during our stay. The location was absolutely perfect. The views were beautiful, and we were within walking distance of so many places and attractions in downtown Chicago, which made getting around incredibly convenient. I especially think this is a great option for families because of the extra space and the convenience of having a full kitchen and all the amenities of an apartment. A friend recommended this place to me, and I’m really glad I took the recommendation. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Sentral was a great value and provided great service. I'll absolutely stay here again. Location is 10/10. Nearly everything we wanted to do was walkable from here. And the views were incredible. Even on the back side of the hotel, we could still see the lake and Grant Park. On our last night, The Taste of Chicago even did a drone show and fireworks, which we had a perfect view of. We stayed in a two bedroom, which was very spacious. My only complaint is that the beds seem a bit small. And there was a bit of mold in the glass shower. But generally, these rooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed. If we needed additional supplies or maintenance, the staff was more than helpful and accommodating. For my family, we loved having a kitchen and access to the pool. This allowed us to rest and have some quiet time between sight seeing. My husband also used the fitness center and was really impressed with quality. I hope to come back again soon.
