Wonderful luxury hotel in the heart of Chicago. Close to the riverfront and many famous deep dish restaurants! The staff are super nice, the breakfast is delicious (with a beautiful view of the old water tower, and the rooms are spacious. Highly recommend!
Had the opportunity to stay here a couple times and it is a very well run property. The front desk is very welcoming and helpful. Everyone you come in contact with is welcoming of the guests. The rooms are spacious especially if you need to work. I love the simplicity of the rooms as well. Dining at NoMi is a special restaurant for breakfast or anytime. I have had the same server on several visits and he has always made me feel welcome. Very efficient as well! The location can't be beat. I would suggest for business or family travel.
I booked a stay at the Park Hyatt for my April 2026 wedding. I stayed there for my rehearsal dinner night, the morning of my wedding, for me and all of my girls to get ready, and then my husband and I stayed there for our wedding night. The Park Hyatt has the perfect location, right off Michigan Avenue and close to Holy Name Cathedral, where we got married. The staff was very helpful with all of our bridal deliveries on the morning of our wedding, which were many. The suite was also perfect. We had so much space. Plenty of space for me (the bride), five other women, and then one makeup artist and one hair stylist. We had plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably on the morning of the wedding. The living room space was so spacious and comfortable, and the views from the living room and bedroom were both absolutely stunning, overlooking historic Water Tower Place and, in the distance, Lake Michigan. It was also nice that the suite had two bathrooms. One connected to the bedroom and one right off the living room for the group to use. If you are looking for luxury hotel accommodations, the Park Hyatt Chicago is a great option, especially for bridal parties and weddings.
Nice hotel but didn’t feel the hospitality was the finest. Felt like any regular guest at a mid tier hotel despite being Globalist. The bellhop was nice and gave my kids a toy which was very kind. Rooms seem standard except the bathroom and I usually stay at Hyatt Regency which seems comparable. Nomi breakfast was amazing which my family of four enjoyed so that was the biggest highlight.
We visited with our family of four and stayed six nights and absolutely loved this hotel. We travel a ton and have stayed in a lot of hotels and I can honestly say this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. The service incredibly helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond (texting personally about cleaner getting in to clean the room if we accidentally left privacy light on, bringing up plates and silverware from the restaurant when we ordered in dinner from elsewhere). It is rare to encounter service like that - they actually care about providing you with ease and convenience. And everyone from the front desk to concierge to doormen was so friendly, by the end of the stay when we walked in or out we were greeted like friends returning home. The rooms were awesome. Beds and pillows very comfortable (again, unfortunately this is rare) and the size of the rooms was very generous. Most hotel rooms are now tiny to maximize revenue per square foot, this actually felt like enough space for the four of us. And the views of Lake Michigan were awesome. Nomi restaurant is great. The pool and athletic facilities were clean and in good condition. There are small rooms downstairs to take phone calls or do work. The lobby is awesome. Finally, the location is A+. You are steps from Magnificent Mile without being in the middle of a tourist zone. Tons of good coffee shops and restaurants a short walk away. Punchline: despite being a loyal Marriott member, this is my new Chicago hotel. Highly recommend!
