Loews Chicago Hotel

I’ve been staying at Loews Chicago several times a year for over eight years, and it remains my absolute favorite hotel in the city. At this point, it truly feels like my home away from home—only with better housekeeping! The location in Streeterville is ideal—you’re just steps from the Riverwalk, Navy Pier, and Michigan Avenue, but tucked away enough to feel like a quiet escape. General Manager Craig and his entire team consistently go above and beyond to take fantastic care of me every time I stay. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and the recently redesigned rooms are lovely. I always look forward to coming back whenever I’m in Chicago.

Nice hotel. Rooms are great (though not enough lighting). Bar tender was great. They don't include tax and tip on AmEx benefits (free breakfast and $100 hotel credit); every other hotel I've stayed at includes this as part of the credit. Also, I had to ask repeatedly for the bill. And be sure to check your getting your "experience" credit if using your platinum. They'll try to keep your money if you don't pay attention.

I reserved three hotel rooms for my family recently at Loews Chicago. I chose Loews because of the special rates and extra benefits that Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card offers. Loews is one of Chase’s “Edit” class of hotels. I don’t know the hotel’s age, but everything looked new and clean. The only downside was the unavailability of the hotel’s swimming pool. Breakfasts were large and delicious (free with Chase Sapphire). We also enjoyed the lobby bar and restaurant—beautiful surroundings and excellent food and service. The rooms were large and well appointed. The view from our 14th floor room window was magnificent. Customer service from everyone on the staff was outstanding, and the hotel’s location was ideal for walking to nearby restaurants and attractions. We found the nearby parking lot a bit confusing to navigate, but it was convenient.

Loews Chicago Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel is modern, clean, and beautifully maintained. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their friendly and professional service. Check-in was quick, and the entire process was smooth. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The bed was very comfortable, and everything in the room was well maintained. I also appreciated how quiet the hotel was, making it easy to relax after a long day. The location is excellent, with many of Chicago’s main attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas within walking distance. It made getting around the city incredibly convenient. Overall, I had a fantastic stay. Great customer service, beautiful accommodations, and an excellent location. I would definitely stay at Loews Chicago Hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago.
