What a great hotel! Restaurant/cafe and Starbucks downstairs. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Property is very nice with a courtyard that is perfect in the dry season. Centrally located and easy to get to restaurants, bars, and 711 (most importantly 😊). Would definitely stay here again.
We definitely enjoyed Sooknira Hotel. The room was spacious, nice and clean. The reception and lobby area is wide and filled with green plants and a glass roof, makes this place feel like you are walking in a beautiful garden. Big parking lot and lovely restaurant. I was surprised with the price for less than 50$ a night including breakfast. This hotel definitely deserves more than 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Location is middle of town , hotel facilities is excellent, Fitness center , library room with all day coffee, The restaurant varieties food is amazing especially northern Thai food and besides restaurants have many options food also
Great location near Clock tower. Comfortable bed in quiet location. Delighted to wake up to the sound of birds in the atrium outside my room. Didn't stay for breakfast but the latte I had at their cafe before checking out was perfect. Overall a pleasant experience with kind and friendly staff.
We have just completed a two nights stay in the Sooknirund Hotel in our first trip to Chiang Rai. We purchased a suite through booking.com at a great price point. This is certainly an iconic Instagram-worthy hotel, with clever juxtaposition of traditional and modern designs. I could not resist taking numerous photos of the nooks and crannies of this beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly and the housekeeping standard is very high. Shower pressure is very good, and there were sufficient space in the suite for R&R. If there is a weak spot, it would be the a la carte breakfast offering during weekday, which takes too much time to serve. The breakfast buffet on the weekend is OK. Special mention to the friendly lady coffee barista who makes very good coffee daily. Location of this hotel is amazing - just opposite the clock tower and walking distance to restaurants and eating places.
