We stayed at Katiliya for 6 nights. We got a free upgrade and the view from our room was stunning. Every morning waking up with sunrise is a gift. Don’t have any comments on the accomodation. Okay, some things need some renovation, but in Thai meanings this resort is just above great. Same for the Mae Salong area. Great area to stay with very welcoming and warm people.

Enjoyed the Mountain View suite as a two-night stay. Everyone was so helpful and perfectly able to make sure we had the most comfortable time. The pools were so nice and the ladies at the spa did the work of angels for my wife and I. The crew caring for the guests while dining were the best, as well. And god bless the bartender as his drinks were top-shelf, top-notch. This place is all it’s cracked up to be when viewing brochures or online. It really is that nice and has stayed that way for more than ten years. If at all possible, put this one on your bucket list.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here, and the whole area is absolutely gorgeous! The sunset view during supper was just incredible. The hotel entrance is quite impressive, but still welcoming. We were greeted with welcome drinks. There was a bit of a hiccup with our original booking through a third-party service, but the manager handled it so well. We stayed in a lovely room with a big tub. The bed was super comfy. We slept with the windows open, and the cool breeze was just what we needed. Our room was next to an open games room with a billiards table and mini-putt. There was even food for the koi fish. The pools were open, clean and inviting, but we didn’t swim. Towels were conveniently placed near the pool. There was also a park and a private zoo nearby with birds, deer and bunnies. There were free oranges to feed the deer, which was a nice treat for both of us and them. The whole resort was filled with stones and gardens. It was a truly beautiful stay. I’m giving it a 5-star rating, which I think is fair. However, I wanted to mention that some of the rooms and areas of the resort looked a bit worn and could use a little TLC. It’s one of the most disappointing things to see beautiful rooms with paint all over the furniture and wood trim because they weren’t properly prepared and protected during the painting process. Wires have been clipped but left dangling. It definitely needs some attention. We would love to return in the future. Thank you Katiliya Mountain Resort for the lovely stay.
I could not imagine a better place for our Christmas break. The atmosphere was incredible, featuring a real fireplace and stunning Christmas decorations. The location is perfect, with breathtaking views and great walking paths nearby. The food was delicious, and the children will never forget the marshmallows gifted to them by the staff. It was truly a top level experience.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, even though I was there for only one night. Its remote location, far from the noise of the city, makes it a perfect retreat for anyone seeking peace and a close connection with nature. At night, you can admire a sky full of stars and fall asleep to the calming sounds of nature, including the gentle croaking of frogs from the nearby ponds. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, with beds that guaranteed a great night’s sleep. The food was outstanding as well—full of flavor and served in very generous portions. I only wish I could have stayed longer, and I truly recommend booking at least two or even three nights to fully enjoy everything this place has to offer. I highly recommend it.
