Our stay at Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort was nothing short of extraordinary and will forever remain one of the most memorable birthdays I've ever celebrated. From the moment we arrived, every team member made us feel genuinely welcomed. A special thank you to Khun Nancy at the Front Office, who patiently assisted my family during check-in, even while I was tied up on an important phone call. The traditional Riak Khwan welcome ceremony and the resort's thoughtful sustainability touches, such as serving welcome drinks with lemongrass straws, made a wonderful first impression. Our Mekong Explorer Suite offered breathtaking views of the Golden Triangle, and the birthday surprises waiting in the room—including beautiful decorations, a cake, welcome amenities, and Prosecco—were beyond anything I expected. The culinary experiences were exceptional throughout our stay. The Garlic Shrimp Pizza from in-room dining was one of the best pizzas we've ever had, while dinner at Samsarn was outstanding, especially the Khao Soi Khwai and Shan noodles. Breakfast quickly became one of our favourite parts of each day, not only because of the delicious selection but also the spectacular panoramic view overlooking Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos. The Walking with Giants experience was unforgettable. Learning about the rescued elephants while walking alongside them was both educational and heartwarming. Thank you, Khun Tiger, for sharing your passion and knowledge. My mother absolutely loved it. What impressed me the most was the team's attention to detail. On our second morning, the breakfast team remembered exactly where we had sat the previous day and even asked if we would like our coffees prepared the same way. These thoughtful gestures truly define luxury hospitality. Before we departed, we were invited to take part in a beautiful farewell blessing by offering a floral garland at the Buddha shrine in the lobby—a perfect ending to an unforgettable stay. My heartfelt thanks to Khun Jean-Marc, Khun Edward, and the entire team, especially Khun Fon, Khun Nancy, Khun Bom, Khun Sing, Khun Sam, Khun Tom, Khun Ajay, Khun Ton, Khun Chana, Khun Tiger, Khun Somphong, Khun Noi, and Chef Khun Kai. My apologies to anyone whose name I may have missed. Thank you all for creating such a genuine, heartfelt, and unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return.

No wonder why this hotel stay in top ranked destinations for beauty and nature. Best service from all staff is outstanding, hotel activities is beyond amazing!! Especially “Walking with Giants” experience was an absolute highlight and my favorite!! “Royal Enfield Sidecar” experience was equally unforgettable. I truly love this hotel and will definitely be coming back again and again. Thank you for such wonderful memories! ❤️
This place was pure magic! The staff were some of the nicest people I have ever met, they were constantly friendly and helpful going above and beyond every time. The room was beautiful with a fantastic view. The restaurant was amazing, every meal we had was simply first class with a great blend between local traditional dishes and international cuisine. We chose the walking with giants actively that I can’t recommend strongly enough. You spend the time walking around with Elephants and their Mahouts while your guide answers questions. This place is definitely worth the stay.
Our stay with Anantara was perfect. My wife and I were impressed with the service, location, food, and activity selection. The staff were committed to making our trip seamless and magical. We especially want to thank Noon for brightening our day with pleasant conversation during breakfast, Chef MJ for an unforgettable tour of the local market and authentic Thai cooking class, and Maprang for making us feel welcome during the explorer arrival and making our walking with elephants experience very informative and special. Every detail of our anniversary trip was perfect. We loved our emaculate room overlooking the jungles of Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand. We looked forward to every meal and loved trying new cuisine. And we loved exploring the grounds of the resort and using the amenities. Everything on this trip was perfect and it was difficult leaving the resort. We appreciate the level of thoughtfulness and hospitality from the staff, and are grateful for such a wonderful opportunity. We look forward to returning to Anantara Golden Triangle Resort in the future!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anandara. We’ve visited several Asian countries in the past including Vietnam and a bit of Cambodia. Each is truly unique and Anandara epitomizes some of the very special qualities of Thailand. First, the cultural aesthetics really stand out with gorgeous Buddhist shrines, temples and ruins. The appreciation for and emphasis on all that is pleasing to the eye extends to everything at this resort including rooms, public areas, gardens, and the food presentation. The standards are very high in all ways. The staff can’t do enough for their guests and are just delightful. This applies in general and for each of our “adventures”. We had a terrific highly knowledgeable guide for the local tour; a fun cooking class chef who gave us a delicious and very worthwhile experience; another chef and crew whose services made the sunset dinner in the trees memorable; fabulous massages at the spa (get the “Signature” massage and foot massage); and a wonderfully unique walk with the elephants. One caution: the sky bike is quite strenuous as there is just one set of pedals to move 2 people about 300 meters, requiring strength and endurance, particularly in the heat of the day. Nonetheless, the staff person for this was also delightful. Food a drinks are all prepared with skill and care. In sum, an enthusiastic 5 out of 5!
