This was the highlight of Chiangmai for us. The Staff were pleasant, helpful and kind and Moe who was our instructor was a lot of fun! We started off with a market tour where we tried a variety of local food and It was a pleasant surprise how many recipes we were able to choose from, instructions were clear and everything was just delicious, I recommend 100%
My partner and I did their evening class. It turned out to be just us and one other person, which was a nice surprise and made the class feel really intimate. Class was well run, easy to follow, and the instructor gave good feedback that helped me fine tune my flavors. Loved the variety of dishes we were able to make and getting to choose our recipes. As vegetarians, everything was easily adapted for us.

I could not have picked a better provider to do my Thai cooking class with. I loved absolutely every moment, and all the amazing dishes. After being collected from our hotel as part of the package, we started with a trip to a local market, where our facilitator On bought some fresh ingredients, and patiently educated us about the various vegetables, herbs, spices etc. Back at the beautiful kitchen facility, which felt more like home than a commercial setup, we proceeded to cook 10 entire dishes, some autonomously (and also given individual choices of which meals exactly we wanted to cook), and others communally, all with patient guidance and a lot of giggles and humour. All the ingredients were of the highest quality and portions generous, so that at the end of my day today, I am so very full. And also so very happy. I can recommend this cooking school very, very highly.

This is a very interactive, hands-on cooking class. Each participant makes their own version of the various dishes, allowing for customized heat. The small group allowed for questions and individualized direction as well as conversation amongst the group. It was a pleasant way to spend the day. Aon was an amazing teacher!! Come hungry!

From pick up from the hotel , tour of the local fresh food market then our cooking class which went for many hours of cooking, eating and excellent instruction and education this day has been one to remember. The two girls Aon and Aye who were in charge of our cooking class and tour of the markets were delightful, funny and helpful. The whole day was fabulous. Do not miss it when you are in Chiang Mai .
Amazing and professional, well organized experience. Aon had a most amazing sense of humor, knowledge base and passion for teaching. It was such a fun experience I would like to take the class all over again. The food we made was so delicious. The trip to the market was also super fun. Even if you aren't into cooking I would recommend this as a great experience.
This is the best tour I have ever experienced! Aon is a fabulous teacher and chef. The interaction of a small group added to the experience and learning about the ingredients at the market before the class added to the cooking experience. Everything we made tasted fabulous! I liked the fact that each participant had his/her own cooking station and got to eat his/her own food.
This is a wonderful cooking class. First you visit the market and then you get to choose your menu, with many courses. Everything was delicious and Aon does a fantastic job running the whole show; making sure everyone is cooking their dish right to their satisfaction. And at the end you get all the recipes everyone experienced. Highly, highly recommend

The staff was really nice! Instructor had very high energy. The only thing is I would recommend them make a little less dishes. It was a bit hectic making so many dishes but at the same time you learned a lot. So I had a great time either way.
We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Akha cooking school! Our teacher was lovely, incredibly kind, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Being vegetarian, we sometimes worry about food classes, but she was so accommodating and easily adapted all the dishes to suit our dietary needs without sacrificing any flavor. Everything we made was delicious, and we learned so much about Akha culture and ingredients. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting!

Just finished the evening cooking class and it was fantastic. There was so much food, and so many dishes that we learned how to cook. Our instructor was knowledgeable, and a great teacher. Our family had a great time! Definitely would recommend.
Moe and Aon were amazing tour guides! Helpful with the market and explained everything and answered every question. The cooking stations and areas were clean and easy to use as everything was set up. We cooked 10 dishes and didn’t feel rushed at all. Come hungry hungry and you’ll roll out when done. I’d do again in a heartbeat.
Wow. We were collected from our hotel and given a very warm welcome. The tour of the food market was fascinating. We ate things I’d never have dreamed of and most were fab! The cookery school was a great balance between informative and fun. Honestly, this was an excellent experience. Do it!!

The whole experience was great from the market visit to all of the cooking and eating. The two ladies running the class did an awesome job with a group from multiple countries with kids included. The food was delicious, the cooking was great fun and the humour and vibe was top notch throughout the event.
This was such an amazing experience! On lead the class and she was a great teacher, easy to follow, and so funny! We cooked so many dishes, and everything was so delicious. It is so difficult to pick a favorite dish of the night. I would recommend this class to anyone, and I would take it over and over again myself!

A thoroughly enjoyable experience all round. I had the pleasure of attending this with my partner and found it to be noticeably superior to other cooking experiences I’ve tried in Thailand. Our host and chef, Onn, was very warm, skilful, knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour around the market was fascinating and lively as we learned about new ingredients and fruits. The cooking session itself was interactive, fun and incredibly satisfying. I highly recommend this experience.
