About Activity
Heading out to explore the beauty of rural Thailand, we venture to the Chae Son National Park that is filled with a rich mountainous forest and varied flora and fauna. Situated in the districts of Muang Bahn and Jae Hom and covering an area of about 592 sq-km, Chae Son's forests and mountains provide an important water source for the surrounding area and has many interesting features including waterfalls, caves and its famous hot springs. After lunch we drive to Jae Hom district to visit one of the most unique temples in Thailand; Wat Phar Phu Dang. The challenging climb to the top of this pristine temple that sits atop a mountain crest 700 metres above sea level is worth the effort, as it provides an incredible 360-degree panorama of the valleys below.
