I have wanted to do this for such a long time and it was a truly magical experience. Ford was a great guide and very knowledgable about the elephants. The elephants were not forced to do anything, they just ambled around, had food and went into the river for water. We had a torrential downpour whilst we were there and they were spraying their own backs with mud, a wonderful thing to see. It was amazing to get so close to them and observe their behaviour. The driver was also great company and lunch was delicious. I can thoroughly recommend visiting here.

Fantastic experience. The sanctuary took such good care of the elephants. They care about the elephants a lot and so the tour is about respecting and viewing them, with occasional feeding. The elephants are allowed to roam freely.

Hands down - The Best Chiang Mai experience. Ford was a a fantastic guide - Great English speaking skills, gives you time to settle down and very well-versed with the day to day of the elephants. He's got an answer for any question you have on the elephants. An hour 20 minutes drive off Chiang Mai. Beautiful lunch. Completely ethical - No touch, No feed. You just watch & observe the elephants going about their day in their natural habitat. If you plan on an elephant sanctuary visit, this is the place to go !

Absolutely amazing experience. The elephants are well taken care of, in an ethical manner, by extremely caring staff who do their best to ensure their comfort, safety and ensure that they thrive. This was an experience of a lifetime. Very safe, relaxed, with delicious food. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

It's simply once in a lifetime magical moment with those magnificient creatures. We could see how intelligent those animals are and how caring the elephant carers are as well towards them. The experience is simply a must in chiang mai. The elephants together with the scenic and soothing environment makes you feel that you simply want to stay there. Great job.

Such a great experience! You can really tell they care for the elephants. I appreciate that they don't overwhelm the elephants with too many people coming to the sanctuary each day. To see them so close is unreal, must do!!

The experience of a lifetime!!! We had the chance to visit this truly ethical sanctuary. The animals are respected in all activities. The 2-year-old baby Lucky was simply adorable. What a privilege to see him interact with the women in the group. Ford and his team are simply perfect (approachable, attentive, informative, etc.). We were able to spend the whole morning with the elephants with only our group of 3 people. The 5/5 rating is justified. Thank you very much! I recommend without hesitation!

Wonderful experience. The elephants are treated with respect and are not forced to interact. You learn many things about them and about Thailand in general. 100% recommended, from the first minute of pickup at the hotel to the last minute with this group of elephants and their caretakers. Immensely happy.
