Amazing day- Joe was so accommodating and kind. He even picked us up at 4am to make it to the sunrise. Car was clean and comfortable and he was full of knowledge. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see some of the Thai countryside

Well worth the experience of seeing the sunrise and starting the easy hike before the crowds. Our tour guide was super helpful and the local guide (for the hike) spoke great English and gave us background on the region and how they came to grow coffee. If you are unsure … go for it. One of the best things we did in Chiang Mai.
Great experience, was just the 2 of us. Going at sunset meant hardly any crowds. Would recommend this tour
A lovely experience! We booked this thinking others may join but it ended up being just me and my partner which was magical! The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and really wanted us to see the best views. It was cloudy so we didn’t see sunrise at first but then we went up to the second view point and got to see the sun rise ABOVE the clouds which was incredible
This was a highlight of our trip. Lee was a great driver/guide. The best part is the time you get trecking with a local. Make the best of this time, it is precious!!
We had a wonderful experience exploring Chiang Rai today, thanks largely to GowithJoe and our driver, Ton. GowithJoe service provider allows you to explore the beautiful parts of Doi Inthanon in half a day. It starts off the day with the beauitful sunrise and simple breakfast, following which a guided tour to see rice plantations and waterfalls along the hike, ended the tour with a cup of delicious coffee. Following a scrumptious Chiang Mai lunch and a drive back to the stay. On top of which, we are also thankful for Ton. He was incredibly professional, calm, and patient throughout the long hours of driving. What we appreciated most was his social awareness; he recognized when we needed to rest quietly and privacy, allowing us to recharge in a peaceful environment and our alone times. When we arrived at the sites, he gave us the space to explore at our own pace while providing very clear instructions on meeting times and locations. If you are looking for a stress-free, comfortable, and well-organized trip, I highly recommend requesting Ton. I’ll definitely be recommending him to all my friends visiting the area!
Our guide worked very hard to drive safely and keep us happy by showing us many sites and local food and coffee. We really enjoyed the trail hike with a lovely woman from Mae Khlang Luang.
An experience not to be missed. Lee was an excellent guide, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The day itself was well planned. Worth waking up early for, would highly recommend.
Booked this tour as a solo traveller and ended up being on my own as a private tour. Right from the start my guide, Lee was very friendly. It was very nice chatting with him and also he is very knowledgeable. He kindly offered to take lots of photos for me. The hike was also a highlight with the amazing scenery and wildlife that there is to see! Would highly recommend!
Highly recommend this tour if you are thinking of visiting Doi Inthanon National Park! You will get to Thailand’s highest peak and explore nature trails, visit the beautiful King’s and Queen’s Pagodas, and do a 2-hour local guide led hike (climbing down mountain, going through forest, seeing gushing river water that powers waterfalls). Kudos to our driver and local guide - both are very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall this was a great experience!
Our guide Lee seemed knowledgeable, sharing history of Doi Inthanon National Park. It was very foggy, sadly we say no sunrise, so we drove to the top, were there was less fog, but more rain. We arrived at the spot to hike a mini trail however, our guide did not accompany us through the trail. While we are experienced hikers it would have been nice to have a guide explain the surroundings. The breakfast box was more like a breakfast snack, and it was not very good. luckily our hotel had packed us a more substantial breakfast. Suggest you bring your own breakfast. When we arrived at the Twin Pagodas , again, we were left to explore on our own. The Highlight of this tour was Pha Dok Seaw Nature Trail and local guide Ne. She was awesome. She shared the history of the Mae Khlang Luang village, how the land went from opioid farms to rice fields, flower gardens and coffee plantations. She pointed out different species of flowers, trees, snakes, birds, frogs, lizards. Took many pictures for us. This was the best part of the tour. The coffee in her village was a delicious rewarding end to our day. Local lunch at Wachiratarn was good.
It was a really great experience to wake up and see those parts of Thailand. The mountain air was so nice and everyone was really accomodating and very friendly. Lee (our driver) made sure we were comfortable the entire time and was very patient with us. Make sure to use some hiking shoes and pack extra snacks and water. The coffee was so good! The views were very beautiful!
My driver was fantastic. Very informative and took me to a local spot that had amazing coconut milk curry. Would have drive again!
Easy to book and plan this tour and great to do it as a couple and not part of a group, it made the experience all the more valuable. It was a very early start but absolutely well worth it to witness that sunrise; an experience that apparently not many westerners participate in. Warm clothes were definitely needed at that altitude and before the sun rose. Great photo opportunity and amazing skyline. Opportunity for us all to have a coffee at the sunrise parking area. Our host and guide Bon was a really great guy and we had plenty of time at each of the stops. Bon was always available and offering to take photos. The breakfast on the go was a nice touch and more than enough. The trek to the Karen village with the local guide Nee was brilliant and Nee was very engaging and informative and like Bon always offering to take photos. Fantastic waterfalls and learning about the coffee and rice growing and harvesting. We finished the trip with a visit to another brilliant waterfall and photo opportunity before Bon dropped us back to our Hotel.
This is a must see excursion. Pictures do not do justice to the amazing views. Lee is an outstanding driver who is knowledgeable and friendly. It is a long tour with lots to see and do and he made sure we got to do everything without it feeling rushed. I highly recommend going on this excursion with Lee!
We had an amazing day with Li as our driver. As another reviewer noted, his English is developing, but we were able to communicate fine, and thoroughly enjoyed the day - from the gorgeous, chilly sunrise in the park (bring a coat) to the delicious khao soi for lunch. In between, we took a stroll at the top of the mountain, saw the stupas, visited a local market, and had an amazing, downhill, hike with a local guide, Nin, ending at her village, where we watched weavers and sampled local coffee. Definitely recommend this tour, especially if the one that starts later doesn’t work with your schedule. One tip: the coffee shop at the sunrise spot sells hats and gloves 😉
This was such a fun day!! Our host was so lovely and accommodating and the activities were great. Everything about this tour is top notch and I highly recommend booking this when in a Chiang Mai.
Sadly the weather was not the best, cloudy and foggy so we were not able to see the sunrise, but our driver made sure to make up for it. We were given a delicious breakfast, along with the best khao soi we’ve tried. It was from a local restaurant. We were never rushed and at the end to make up for the lack of sunrise we were brought to a place in chiang mai that sold jewelry and a silk factory which was super nice. During the hike we were accompanied by a local guide who was very nice and was telling us facts about the village and the trails. This was one of my favorite activities and would for sure do it again
I can’t recommend this experience enough. You get so much packed in, but plenty of time for each stage of the itinerary - it’s really well planned. We also ended up having the whole experience to ourselves, which felt incredibly special. Our driver, Ming, was so lovely and helpful. He talked us through the day as things were happening, and gave us interesting context to each experience. We also learnt a lot about Chiang Mai from him, which was really nice. Our guide from the Karen tribe was also brilliant and answered our many, many questions. The trek itself is very varied and doable in the heat - you can walk at a pace that suits you. The wildlife is great and really exciting, the coffee at the end is delicious. Overall, 10/10 and would highly recommend!
My friend and I was initially hesitant and skeptical to book this trip. We wanted to so a sunrise hiking and due to the Thai New Year holiday, this is the only tour we could find that fit into our itinerary. The price was not cheap, and most importantly, the reviews were extreme, either very good or disappointed. However, we decided to give it a try. Driver Ming (I hope I didn't misspell his name) picked us up at hotel on time at 4am, first drove up to the place to see the sunrise and luckily we saw it. It was really foggy on the way up the mountain but we saw the sunrise so we were happy. Then he pointed us the way to go to the summit, which was really nothing in there, and a small trail. Then we were thinking, was that it? He did prepared us a little something as breakfast so it was nice. And after that, roughly 9am, he drove us to the entrance to another trail and then that's the trekking started. We were guided by a English speaking lady from the Karen (sorry if i misspell) Tribe to walk through the trail which lead to her village, in average take around 1.5 hr depends on your speed. That was really fun. There were variety of things that we saw, like some waterfalls, rice fields etc and the trail was also not the easiest, there are up and downs, stairs etc. Then when we reached the end, we got to enjoy a local grown coffee and after the mountain party, Ming brought us to a local restaurants and we had delicious local food there before heading back to hotel. Overall the experience, both my friend and I enjoyed it! For those who like hiking I definitely recommended :)
The sunrise tour is an absolute must when visiting Chiang Mai. We booked a day in advance and ended up being the only guests, which was pretty special. Lee our driver was early & waiting ready with the aircon pumping in the van. We arrived to watch the sunset about 15 mins prior to the actual sunrise and the views are something we will remember forever! A light breakfast followed before a small stroll around a beautiful boardwalk birdwatching. The Twin Pagodas were something out of a movie scene as we had the entire place to ourselves due to the early start time. The whole time we were there, we didn't see another soul. Our 2 hour hike was with the most incredible local guide from the Karen village, who was most hospitable and spoke excellent english. Rice fields, waterfalls and a paddle in the local stream were a highlight of our trek. Stopping in the village for freshly ground coffee and learning some history on how coffee plantations came to be in Thailand was also fascinating. On the way home, Lee treated us to Khao Soi for lunch at a local restaurant with Thai desert. 100000/10 for both dishes! If all of this wasn't enough, we visited a local silk producer and jade shop. A long day very well spent!
Professionally led from start to finish! Our driver Lee was early, professional and extremely accommodating. He made sure to include many pit stops for breaks and hydration and was also a superb guide, making sure we didn't miss the sunrise or any other location of merit. For our hike we had a wonderful lady from the local mountain village (unfortunately can't remember her name) she spoke amazing English and knew the land like the back of her hand. The views were awesome, educational and inspiring . Getting to see her local village and even try local harvested and roasted coffee was a highlight of my whole trip to Thailand. Lee made sure we were well fed for breakfast and lunch and got us back to our hotel safe. 10/10 day, will recommend to all. A MUST DO for tourist in Chiang Mai! Bravo
Tour on March 28, 2024. My driver was Lee (or Li) and he was the nicest guy! He came to pick me up at my hotel at 4 am sharp. Very kind soul, always smiling, and extremely patient. He is practicing his English so sometimes it's a little difficult to understand, but we were able to converse during the whole day and I was able to understand him just fine. We arrived at Doi Inthanon around 5:45 am, enough time before sunrise for me to set up my camera and gopro to capture the beautiful sunrise. Couldn't be happier :). The weather on the mountain top in the early morning hours was chill (cold for many others), so bring a jacket. There was a reminder email the day before the tour as well. After sunrise, we took our time to enjoy a little breakfast (sweet sticky rice with coconut pudding) and some short walks nearby in the Doi Inthanon National Park. Then Lee (or Li) took me to the pagoda, which was beautiful on the mountain top. It had really a nice flower garden too. Then he dropped me off at the trail head to do a hike with a local hiking guide from the Karen tribe. It was a very nice hike. Easy, mostly downhill, can be done in 1.5 hours. Beautiful waterfalls and streams. Got to learn a little bit about the Karen tribe's traditions. I took my time on the hike, taking lots of photos and talking a lot with the guide about their customs. Then after the hike, Lee (or Li) took me to another waterfall. This one was beautiful and it was by the parking, so minimal effort. But to me, I loved the waterfalls on the hike to the Karen village more. Finally, we stopped for the best khaosoi noodle soup before heading back. I got back to my hotel around 3 pm. All in all, very happy with the tour and my driver Lee (or Li) was the best! Highly recommend for a day tour. Thank you so much for an awesome day. Khap khun krap!!!
Tour Guide was born and raised in Chiang Mai. He was very knowledgeable and friendly during our tour. Sunrise was beautiful in fire season. Make sure to wear a light to medium jacket. Twin Pagodas and flowers were a site to see. Will need to wear jacket half way through nature walk. Nature walk took about 1.5 hours. Saw multiple waterfalls, bamboo, coffee plants, cinnamon trees along the way. We got to grind coffee and have a cup at the end of the walk. Our Tour Guide made us a yummy breakfast and got us Khao Soi for lunch. Thank you soo much for a wonderful experience!
Unfortunately, like some others our guide was not Joe but the couple. While they are super nice the minimal English speaking provided more of a self tour. The driver knew only basic/very minimal English, the female guide knew more English but not enough to hold conversation or truly answer questions. There was definitely still a language barrier. Sunrise, got to spot, she pointed to food area said coffee, then pointed to where we should go to see rise. Coffee place wasnt open. Like another mentioned they will sleep in van for the hours you are waiting for sunrise. We were brought somewhere and told 'highest point' while pointing to sign to read description of place. Twin pagodas, pointing towards them and informing us she was staying down at pick up/drop off point providing no information about them. I went back and forth on this star rating because it was a beautiful day and we loved everywhere we went however I also feel a better Engish speaking guide should of been provided. For the money I don't think I would personally chance not getting Joe.
My husband and I had a disappointing experience on this tour and are pretty dissatisfied. There were two major issues with the sunrise hike that we had experienced: 1) trip was not as promised (guides skipped a portion we paid for) and 2) the guide and driver were not as engaging and did not share as much information as all other guides have. We did not learn very much at all and the tour became a self-guided tour, which is not what we paid for. To elaborate, the itinerary mentioned that we would visit Watchirithan Falls and have lunch near this waterfall. However, we did not visit the waterfall and did not have lunch near this landmark. Instead, the guides drove us down the mountain about 45 minutes and we went to a roadside stand. The food was okay but not great. We were really looking forward to seeing this waterfall because the itinerary promised it was included in our admission ticket. This was not delivered. We also got back at 1 pm and would have had plenty of time to see the waterfall (itinerary promised a return time of 2:30 pm). Very disappointing. Regarding the guides, while they were friendly and we appreciated them getting us from place to place, they were not engaging. They hardly spoke to us at all and we received no information about the twin pagodas or Thailand’s history or culture. Their answers were short and succinct when we asked questions and they did not provide details like we have had with other viator guides in Thailand. They mostly spoke with each other and the local guide on the hike with minimal interactions with us. For the sunrise portion they told us to go get coffee but the coffee place was closed and they did not tell us where to see the sunrise. We figured it out based on where others were standing but the guides stayed in the car on their phones/napping for the hour and a half we were there. We are flexible, but when we experienced other tours with engaging, funny and fantastic guides that have shared historical or cultural information, it made this experience a letdown. We expected to have a guide that could speak at least a little English and be engaging for the price we paid on this private tour. Also, we noticed on the description (which is what I based our booking decision on) there were tons of five star reviews mentioning a guide named Joe. Joe was not our guide but rather it was a couple who took us around. We wonder if that is the reason we had such a different experience than everyone else. We were very disappointed also because this was our last tour in Thailand. We did not receive the services promised and the booking description and reviews were misleading. We could have easily booked another guide or company for less money and received a more personal experience, which is what our expectation was based on the description. Sad to leave only two stars but overall we were disappointed with this experience
We enjoyed our sunrise tour. Our pickup was on time and transfer car comfortable. It was lovely to see the sunrise from Thailands Mt Inthanon. The rest of the tour was interesting, visiting some lovely gardens, temples and a short walk through a rain forest up near the summit. The highlight was definitely the 2 hour jungle hike with a local hill tribe guide. A really beautiful hike. The only let down for us was a lack of engagement by our guide. Possibly due to language barriers. It was very cold up there so warm clothing is a must. Something you can take off as it does warm up particularly on the hike. I would recommend this trip.
From the moment we embarked on the tour to the very end, our tour guide's expertise, passion, and dedication were truly exceptional. Not only was our guide (Joe) incredibly knowledgeable, but they also displayed a remarkable ability to engage with the group and ensure everyone's needs were met. The itinerary was carefully crafted, offering a perfect balance between popular landmarks and hidden gems. From breathtaking natural landscapes to learning the traditional day to day life of Thai people, every stop on the itinerary exceeded our expectations and left an everlasting mark on our memories. The company's commitment to excellence, combined with the expertise and passion of their tour guides, truly sets them apart. We would highly recommend Viator to anyone seeking a truly extraordinary travel experience.
This experience was the highlight of my trip to Thailand! I was hesitant at first because of the cost but it was worth every baht. Joe and driver were punctual. I witnessed an amazing sunrise, walked through a swamp, a gorgeous rice field and past three waterfalls. Joe was very knowledgeable of the area and was receptive to my countless questions about Thai culture and history. Would recommend this to anyone who is interested in seeing the beauty of Northern Thailand without the hassle of planning or being in a crowded tour group.
That was a great tour! Well organized and conducted in a timely manner. Pick up time as agreed, we visited all the places on the list. Joe answered all the questions about myths, animal spicies we observed and shared much of his knowledgre. Gave us time to take numerous photos and never pushed us to run further. Me and my brother are really impressed
So worth the 4 AM wake-up!!!! Not only was it a beautiful sunrise and view, but basically felt like we had the national park to ourselves as most tourists arrive 1-3 hours later. Thank you Joe!!
Great views and it’s much cooler than in the city. I walked some great trails with tons of waterfalls, rice fields, and coffee/lunch in the local village.
Excellent tour. Sunrise was beautiful. Joe was fabulous. Highly recommend. Had a great time. ………………………….
We had a wonderful day with our local guide! We were picked up at 4 on the dot and made our way up to Doi Inthanon to see the sunrise. It was quite foggy up the mountain and we enjoyed refreshing and chilled temperatures. Definitely bring warm clothes but also lighter ones for the enjoyable hike later in the day. We ended the day with a delicious lunch at a wonderful and calm location and we’re even taken to a silk factory in Chiang Mai on the way back. Our guide was so nice, chilled, flexible and we chatted lots about Thai culture and customs. Getting up early was worth it, we beat the crowds everywhere and could even see some local wildlife. Definitely recommend!
We are a family of 3 with a 10 year old daughter whose up for most adventures. We woke up at 3am to ensure we were at the lobby of our hotel by 4am. Our guide Joe was already there and we were in the car promptly at 4am. The drive up Doi Inthanon is almost two hours. Probably best to catch a snooze. Joe is happy to engage you in conversation though if you are wide awake. It gets pretty cold and wet up there during the rainy season so definitely take a sweater and a rain poncho. As soon as we got to the sunrise spot, we realised that it was too misty to actually catch the sun rising. But what made up for it was the fact that we were literally walking amongst the clouds and it was magical. Right after that, we drove higher up until we got out of the car to do a short 10 minute trek to the highest point on Doi Inthanon, also the highest point in Thailand. Doi Inthanon is part of the himalayan range of mountains. We did a beautiful hike there within the cloud forest up at that altitude. Probably about 45 mins long. Everything is just so mystical and stunning and Joe is quick to point out all the exotic and indigenous flora and fauna. After this we drove slightly lower to the twin pagodas. Before we ascended the stairs to see the pagodas and the beautiful gardens and view that surrounded them, we stopped for a quick breakfast that Joe had packed for us. Fresh fruits and some buns along with juice. The pagodas were a good visit too. So far we were the first tourists everywhere and it seemed like the entire experience was made for us. There were no other locals or tourists there that early in the morning. After the pagodas we started our main hike. What a magic experience this was. The landscapes we navigated in just this one hike. Beautiful waterfalls and streams surrounded by dense forest. After about an hour of hiking we descended low enough to enter the lush valleys with rice paddies and coffee plantations as far as the eyes could see. This was an unforgettable experience. We crossed the paddies and coffee fields and ended the hike at one of the Karen Hill Tribe villages where we were served freshly brewed coffee from the local plantations. After this we went to a local restaurant for lunch followed by a visit to an epic waterfall for pictures. TIP: Although the hike is mainly descending down to lower altitudes, the route is muddy, slippery and wet during the rainy season. Finally, we wholeheartedly recommend Joe. He is an excellent guide.
We absolutely loved this tour guide and recommend to others. He was very kind, hospitable, and knowledgeable about the history of Thailand. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our time with Joe. He is knowledgeable and speaks English really well. Really friendly and thoughtful person. 100% will recommend him!
The duration and pace of the activities were perfect! Great spot to see the sunrise, although it goes without saying it's weather-dependent. Joe is a superb conversationalist, there was never a dull moment on the trip. He is very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna, history and customs, often times pointing out interesting nuggets of info along the way. I was pleasantly surprised that even though I was the only one who booked the activity, he still showed up and gamely took me up the mountain. He was kind to have prepared a delicious breakfast and brought me to a wonderful lunch place to have local specialty Khao Soi.
I would highly recommend this tour with Joe! We had a comfortable ride up to the summit and was very fortunate to have caught the sunrise as the skies were clear. He even prepared breakfast and brought us to have a delicious khao soi for lunch after the tour. You will definitely enjoy the hike as well as he was very knowledgeable and would explain to you the things you see along the way! I haven’t been on a tour like this before and you should really give it a shot if you’re in Chiang Mai :)
Cannot recommend this tour enough. Joe was a kind, knowledgeable, and fun host. The sunrise at the “roof of Thailand” was truly breathtaking. Seeing the king and queen pagodas- no exaggeration- brought me to tears. The nature walk through the rice terraces and jungle could not have been more beautiful. We stopped at a local village home for homemade Thai coffee and tea at the end. As if the whole day wasn’t enough, Joe took us to a hidden local restaurant in a rice field for the best Khao Soi I’ve ever had. We were mind blown. You HAVE to do this trip!
It’s a really great trip that highlights the park. The early rise is well worth it to see the sunrise and beat the heat. Then you see the highest point, go on two not strenuous hikes, stop in a Karen village for coffee, and see some big waterfalls. It was a highlight of my trip. Oh, and you get to see the gardens and the twin pagodas for a great photo opp.
We spent a really nice day in the company of Joe. Of course waking up this early is really difficult especially if you are doing other tours, it makes it more difficult to enjoy the trip if you are super tired. However the sunrise is a very nice and unique scenery. Unfortunately due to COVID we could not do the trek we were supposed to do, we had to do another one which while not mind-blowing was still a very refreshing place to walk through. I cannot say if the other trail would have been better or not. The Hmong market was really the same shop repeating again and again so I'm not sure it's worth the stop unless you really want to buy something. Joe really tried to make us enjoy the trip, and did some adjustments on the fly, so don't be afraid to ask , Joe is really nice and helpful. Overall we had a nice time, and Joe was really knowledgeable about the fauna and flora of the surrounding area but also about Chiang Mai we had some nice talk with him.
We went to the top of Doi Inthanon (the highest mountain in Thailand), went to the Grand (Twin) Pagoda, saw the Twin Towers and went to the Fadoxion One Trail. They are a very nice place, I enjoyed them all very much. I am Japanese and first little bit worried about the tour, but I was able to talk with the guide(Joe) in English, and he was kind and enjoyed the tour with peace of mind. I want to ask again.
It was a tour with many viewspots. For example, The top of Doi Inthanon, Grand (Twin) pagoda, Thai Hmong Community Market, Pha Dok Sieo Nature Trail. Joe was very kind and had good time management.
Incredible scenery to say the least. What really made the trip was the personal touch of Joe. He really strove to make sure we had an awesome adventure. Very kind and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend!
We had a 4am I sunrise tour. The whole thing was very sketchy. We waited for our driver at our hotel at 4 am. Someone showed up but sat in their car out front for 20 min. Then he came to us and handed us their phone. The person on the phone then said the driver is not available and to cancel the tour. We woke up at 3 am on my birthday to do this tour. This is extremely disappointing. Our whole day is ruined. I would strongly advise against ever booking with this company.
Our tour guide Joe was so friendly, informative and patient! Our entire tour went smoothly and one of my friends forgot to bring a sweater during the sunrise portion and he even offered his hoody! We had such a great experience and highly recommend this tour!
Joe was lovely and spoke really good English. I really enjoyed the day. Starting from watching the sunrise to hiking to Thai jungle while watching beautiful birds. This is a trip for people who are looking to learn about Thai nature and forests. Definitely recommend.
Although the day started a bit chilly at the start (6 degrees C), I'm glad we powered through because the entire day was perhaps the most memorable, beautiful, and fun of our days in Thailand! The variety of experiences our guide led us through felt very special and unique - with a remarkable mix of Thailand's history, nature, and indigenous life. We also happen to have this tour on the King's birthday (a Thailand holiday), so a lot of locals were also traveling to the same places on their day off, which made our tour feel even more authentic. The day wove together very well. Although we did not see the sunrise due to fog, the mist made our hike to the top of Mt. Doi Inthanon even more mystical. After visiting the top of the mountain, we made our way to the monuments for the old King and Queen, which were flooded with Thai there to celebrate the King's birthday. The loyalty and reverence the Thai people have for their King and Queen was inspiring to see. The King was known for teaching the indigenous people how to farm, so it was cool to then visit these farms and then hike around the village to see the absolutely stunning waterfalls!!! After quite a full day, we finished by eating at a fun coconut-themed restaurant- also an apparent local favorite that we wouldn't have experienced otherwise. In addition to the amazing tour activities, our guide Joe was professional, knowledgeable, and a great photographer! We really enjoyed spending the day with him!
Some friends and I went on the Sunrise Hike with our guide Jo and it was amazing! Jo picked us up nice and early and made sure we had a great view of the sunrise and it was beautiful. Then he took on several little adventures throughout the day. We walked through one of the rain forests, then got to go to highest point in Thailand and the Twin Pagodas. After that, we still had a 2-2 1/2 hour with a local guide. We got to see several waterfalls, a rice farm, and a coffee farm where were able to try some of their coffee. The hike was mostly downhill and was moderate in difficulty but the views were beautiful. After that, we went and had lunch and to see another fantastic waterfall. Jo was a great and knowledgable guide and very friendly. He was great about taking any and all pictures we asked of him. I would recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a fun outdoor activity with a lot of different experiences in one.
