We went on a day trip to Doi Inthanon summit, the twin pagodas, the Karen village tribe, Watchirathan waterfall, the Ang Ka Nature trail, and for a lovely lunch in a local spot. Our guide was amazing (ms. Pookie) and the ride was very comfortable with our driver and an air conditioned van between stops. Overall, great level of information and exploration, as well as a range of activities that suits everyone. Amazing day - highly recommend.

Had a great trip with a very knowledgeable and personable guide, Yuwan, ex-monk, ex-military. We visited Thailand’s highest point, did a small walk to a helicopter crash point, visited the king’s and queen’s pagodas, had a very good and filling lunch at the Inthanon royal project, followed by a stroll through its grounds and finished up with home prepared coffee in a small village. We felt the whole day was well thought through, not to strenuous and very informative. Overall a good balance between a decent product and an exceptional guide.
Our guide was Ekky! He was so nice and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions. And also so funny! Loved my day! Great tour to see Chiang Mai . I highly recommend this tour and if you are lucky enough you will have Ekky as a guide!!!
We had a great day on our journey to Doi Inthanon Forest and the king and queen pagodas. We did some hiking in the forest next to a spectacular waterfall, had delicious homegrown and roasted coffee and a lovely fresh Thai lunch at a local cafe. Ek our guide had a strong knowledge of Thai history and the succession of Rama kings. He also knew a great deal about agriculture cultivation of the local region. Ty our driver was excellent in the mountains and in tight city Chiang Mai driving. An excellent day all in all.
Wonderful experience with the best, kind, caring guide named Ms Aom. She was also very informative! The van driver was great and very safe and efficient. Overall would go again especially with Ms. Aom!
Ying and our driver were great. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. We had a wonderful and eventful tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone, as you get to see so much.
Great day, information customised to what we wanted to know. Safe and comfortable travel between the sites and easy knowing all the entry fees are included.
Started the tour but prompt pick up. Our tour guide Ahm was absolutely lovely, informative and engaging, The tour itinerary was well planned with lots to see. Some walking, beautiful sights and yummy lunch
Brilliant tour, hosted by Nat, who was friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. Small group, so it felt like a bespoke, personal tour of some of the more off-the-beaten-track highlights of the Chiang Mai region.
Amazing day out the lady tour guide speaks very good English and is extremely friendly and informative. They look after all the tourists very well. This company is MUCH better than the other tour which is advertised on viator as “best seller” which was a horrendous company to deal with.
This was a relaxing trip, not much walking or you can say it was an easy walk. It was a quick snap shot of the National Park, learnt a lot about different type of Karen tribes. Which was very interesting. We saw the beautiful rice fields as well - with Touring Center Chiang Mai via Viator . No worries about not understanding the guide. We had Me Nong, he was very professional and he was a master of his craft. We learnt so much about the national park, Royal family, Buddhism, birds, plants etc. He was very kind and helped us to take beautiful photos and even helped us to get snacks. A big thank you to him and the driver. We had a great time and I hope other tourists have the same experience as we did. The lunch was also excellent - we are sure we had organic vegetables which was very tasty in that area.
The pagodas were very nice. Great views and nice to get away from the craziness. The weather was beautiful and so was the view.
I highly recommend this tour. The rainforest and the twin pagodas are worth the visit. Our guide, Miss Aom, is knowledgeable and accommodating.
Very good tour with Aom as our guide. Highly recommend. Everthing about the tour is good. Ask for Aom if you sign up. The flowers and moss in the forest was enchanting.
This was an awesome day into the countryside and mountains. Ekk was a fabulous guide and made our day lots of fun. We all really enjoyed everything about the trip. Highly recommend
Beautiful rain forest and gardens Guide Mr.Tui was really good explaining all details about the park and pagodas
Bee was wonderful! It ended up being just the two of us with Bee and the driver. Had a great day and highly recommend
My husband and I signed up for a small group tour with Ekk but the other participants ended up canceling so we were treated to a private tour. Ekk was very energetic and warm from the beginning. Everywhere he went, he made others laugh. He definitely knows this tour and has made many friends on every stop. The highest point, itself, doesn’t have much of a view but the air was crisp and fresh. On the nature walk, Ekk pointed out several birds so it turned into a birdwatching tour. The twin pagodas were nice. We went to the King side first and had to hurry through the Queen side. I would suggest to save time for the Queen’s side as there is a pretty garden on her end. Lunch was delicious. We had a reserved table with fresh food by the trees and stream. The Hmong market was nice with free samples. If you walk a little further down, some stalls have cheaper prices (by 20 baht) for the same products. We loved it all but really enjoyed our stroll around the Karen village. We had local dog companions and got to see all the animals of the village. The coffee and tea sampling was also nice. My husband bought a few bags of coffee as gifts. The last stop was the waterfall. It was really pretty and refreshing with the mist. The walkway could get slippery and muddy at some points so I recommend good gripped shoes. Overall, we enjoyed the day tour with Ekk and would recommend others to go, too.
This was an excellent tour and full value for money. Guide Nong was excellent - informative, fridndky, fun. And driver Althui were very good.
We were unlucky with the weather, it rained heavily all day and it was very cold and foggy on the mountain. We didn't get to see the beautiful views. However, we are very satisfied with the tour. At the following locations, it was very atmospheric and the rain did not spoil the impression at all. Our guide was very nice and interesting. Lunch was very tasty, in a beautiful place with a beautiful view. We really liked the village in the mountains, where we ground our own coffee. The waterfall was also incredible. A place of strength. Thank you for the tour, we really enjoyed everything.
Great tour, really enjoyed it. Very relaxed, saw lots of great sights in the national park and the tour guide was really great.
Our tour guide Winya was a great tour guide, providing a lot of interesting and useful information about the spots we visited, and also about culture and society and daily life. At the same time very polite and friendly. Very pleasant to spend the time with. - Thank you very much!
This tour was a highlight of our Thailand trip. Amazing that in one day we saw the highest point of Thailand, went for a nature walk, visited the twin pagodas, ate a restaurant lunch, shopped at the Hmong market, made coffee with a world famous cafe owner in a Karen village, and took in a spectacular waterfall…and it felt well-paced, even relaxing! We had Bee for our tour guide, and she was knowledgeable and personable. This should be on everyone’s Chiang Mai itinerary!
We took a private tour with Bee our tour guide, we are a family of 4. We loved her and the place. The food was great, she knew all the right spots to see, where to take the nicest photos and had so much information. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Bee.
One of the best trips we have had in Asia. We were a small group of 5 and our tour guide was amazing. His English was excellent and he was able to explain everything to us in great detail. The sights were incredible, the waterfall, twin pagodas and gardens. Karen's village was also extremely insightful and sampled some great coffee there. As another comment said, don't fill up on breakfast as there is a delicious lunch served. Would definitely recommend.
We had the greatest time, iur tour guide and the driver are very sweet. The road there the tour guide did let us know that it was going to make us nauseas and got us banana chips and gum. Super sweet of her. Overall she was informative and we enjoyed it so much!
Excellent experience! Very good guide Paul - knowledge and experienced. We booked a small group trip but ended up on our own. The nature in the national park is amazing. Very peaceful and beautiful. Visiting the pagodas was worth it as the views from the top are unenforceable. Well recommended tour.
We had a wonderful day in the mountains. Our guide was lovely and very good at curating a memorable day for us. We loved the cloud forest walk, the picturesque gardens at the Stupas and understanding more about the mountain tribes. Remember that its cool in the mountains, take the travel operators advise and take a warm top!
Oh my goodness. This was an amazing tour. Mr Paul was our guide and I don’t remember the name of the driver, but that guy was top notch. Very smooth drive. Mr Paul was very knowledgeable about all the things we saw and had very good explanations and answers to our questions. The lunch place was very quaint and very delicious. All of the walking was on well maintained paths and wasn’t too strenuous. It seems like I’m saying “very“ a lot. It was a VERY fun day.
Our guide among was awesome. Excellent knowledge of all things on the tour. Lunch was to die for too
Paul was an excellent guide and was a wealth of knowledge. We learned a lot and had a very pleasant day. Beautiful short walk through the forest, saw 2 incredible pagodas and a great lunch. Highly recommended!
Nice walk at the high point of Thailand. Stops at a roadside Hmong market and coffee at Karen Hill tribe. Nice waterfall stop and short hike.
Our tour guide was Paul and he was awesome! We were picked up at our hotel and were treated to a very beautiful and very informative day in the mountains outside of Chiang Mai. Paul was very friendly and he taught us a lot about the history of Thailand along our drive. We got to stand on the highest mountain in Thailand, visited some amazing temples, drank coffee with and learned about the Karen tribe and saw where they lived. We then were treated to a traditional Thai lunch at a restaurant that had great views of the valley. Afterwards, we stopped at one of the most beautiful waterfalls we’ve ever seen. Throughout it all, Paul and our driver took very good care of us and kept the whole day fun and interesting. We highly recommend this tour!
We don't normally do tours but friends of ours wanted to do this one, so we joined in. Turned out to be a great decision! There was just the four of us so we had the guide, Paul, all to ourselves. He was excellent in bringing to life the history of Thailand and the local culture, as well as being knowledgeable about the plants around us. Really interesting. We also had a fantastic lunch!
Interesting day! Got picked up on time by Ekky, who's hilarious. Bring a good jacket as it can get up to 15 degrees up there. It gets better by the afternoon. Enough time at each place - there's an escalator up the twin pagodas, which was helpful as i was travelling with 2 elderlies. Lunch was ok, could have come with more food - There was a backpacker who joined us who im guessing did not had breakfast and took 3/4 of the plate of fish, leaving 1/4 left for me and my parents. The flowers behind the pagoda was beautiful. Coffee stop was decent, though Thailand is not as big in terms of the coffee industry. We made an unplanned stop to see farmers packing tomatoes which Ekky shared more about the local livelihood - overall a great experience!
We had a wonderful day with our tour guide "Mr. Paul"! He really made sure that we all felt welcomed and was more than happy to answer all of our questions. We also very liked the stops at the tour and would absolutely recommend it!
I booked two tickets for my mother and I. Upon picking us up, our guide Paul told us that another pair had postponed their booking, making this a private tour for just the two of us. The guide was knowledgeable and spoke fluent English with over 20 years of guiding experience. The entire trip was conducted immaculately with the driver Jack always arriving on time at the pick-up locations. There was so much to enjoy from the trip, namely the pagodas, the waterfall, a wonderful lunch surprise at The Royal Project, and a peaceful walk through a village, just to list a few. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone making a day trip to Chiang Mai.
Really relaxed but well planned day, very attentive guide, made sure we were looked after at lunch when not in his company
We enjoyed our little lunch in the Royal Project park- thought the food was slightly undercooked for my liking. Make sure to tell them how you want the doneness for all your dishes. the visit is a must do for all who visit chiangmai, with or without guide. I think is easy to do trip but having a guide with private group ensure you get around quicker. Also Mr poon has interest us with the info nuggets of the park and the royal family work in the region which made it not just a sightseeing outing but learn something about the land and people of Thailand.
Our guide Winha was very informative and fun. The sites we saw and visiting the village were quite an experience.
Great organization for a very well thought tour around the mountains of Chiang Mai. Our driver and our guide, Mr Noah and Mr M were very well prepared, told us a lot about history, cultural habits and traditions, the drive was very safe and lunch was amazing. Totally recommended!
It was a fun day with tour guide Pbae and driver Thai. They are professional and excellent at what they do. Pbae knows all the photo spots and is happy to take them for you. The hospitality on the tour was wonderful.
My friend and I did this tour on our first day in Chiang Mai, and it's definitely a great way to get immersed in the city's culture. Our tour guide Pae was friendly, energetic, and hilarious as he taught us some Thai language and history related to our tour sites. One of my favorite parts of the trip was visiting the Karen village because Pae was introducing us to all the local fruits, which we even got to try. The car ride was really smooth and comfortable the whole way. There was an unlimited supply of bottled water and frequent pit stops to use the bathroom or stretch. All thanks to our skilled driver Mr Thai! 10/10 would recommend!
The views are stunning. The food is good. A great tour to book ! M was our guide. And he is awesome. As well as the driver Jackie who took good care of us. Make sure you ask for them
Picked is up right on time, smooth trip Pei very knowledgeable, easy to talk to. Great highlights as long as weather permits
Very informative and had a good guide in M and a good driver as well , Jackie. To our surprise it was suppose to be a group tour but ended up just being the two of us. We lucked out with the weather. Never rained and the sky was pretty much clear. Thanks for the trip guys!
M was the best tour guide we could dream of The nature and temples are extraordinary Felt like the whole trip was a dream So well planned and explained, the best organized trip we've been in So greatful!
Had a great time with Pae as our tour guide! I would definitely recommend this tour over trying to find all the places yourself, there's a lot of history and hidden spots we were shown that we would've missed otherwise. Prompt pickup from our hotel, and smooth ride to the national park. We got the history behind the twin pagodas, lunch arranged for us through a local restaurant, and walked around the Hmong village that we definitely would not have figured out on our own. Our guides were super enthusiastic and knowledgeable, all around great experience!
My partner and I had a wonderful time on this experience with another couple from Germany. Our guide, Pae, the other staff member (I forgot his name) and the driver gave us a memorisable experience throughout. Pae’s knowledge about Chiang Mai and the questions we had were amazing. He’s a true Chiang-Mai-ian! His personality, humour and smile was warm, very friendly, and welcoming. The entire journey though it rained, is great for anyone who isn’t sure what to do in Chiang Mai, it also gives you insights to the other ethnic groups in Thailand that are not always spoken of. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
Perfect day with a great agenda and a very knowledgeable, funny and friendly guide. Exhaustive information
