I really enjoyed this half day experience. I met Amori at 9am and she took me through some guided meditation. We did meditation and talked about it afterwards. We did yoga and then had a really nice lunch cooked by the chef there. The location is lovely it’s like a little sanctuary and I got the chance to have a 10 Minute walk around it. After lunch we spent time at the beautiful nearby temple. Amori was able to tell me lots I didn’t know about the temple, the drawings within it, the monks and Buddhism. This was a really special and educational experience and I would recommend it.

We had been craving this type of experience while we were in Thailand and Amori’s half day experience at her studio fit the bill. The space was lovely and peaceful, lunch was great and Doisacket Temple was beautiful. Highly recommend this for beginners and newbies who want to learn a little about meditation and Buddhism in practice with a local.
This was a beautiful day. Amori was a lovely informative host. She starts with teaching walking meditation then sitting meditation. She is patient, kind and really expands on the teachings and lessons behind the different methods which I think are lost in the Western world. I was new to yoga and she provided instruction for modified and advanced members. Lunch is provided. Amori also brings you to the local temple and taught us so much about the teachings and traditions of Buddhism. Truly a special day. You can also stay for multi day experience. This will be a must for the future. Some people staying onsite had been there multiple times and I see why. What an oasis in a crazy world. You can get a Grab to and from @300 baht each way. Also bring sweatshirt and socks, the mornings can be brisk. Don’t miss this opportunity!
This was such a well rounded day and experience. We started with walking meditation, then sitting meditation. We learned so much about life, tolerance and perseverance. From there we did an hour long yoga session which pushed us and stretched us both physically and mentally. This was followed with a trip to the temple that was truly humbling and life changing. This was a day we will never forget!
Amorie was an excellent host for this (more than) half day packed with meditation (seated & walking), rigorous yoga and beautiful, delicious lunch on a peaceful property 30 mins outside Chiang Mai. We then had a personalized tour of Doi Suket temple where Amorie showed us how to pray, interpreted Buddhist paintings, and encouraged donations/alms to the temple on our behalf. She even kindly made change for me to give my Grab driver on arrival, and directed us safely to the minibus to return to the city. A great, peaceful experience…Khap khun kha!
Beautiful local person to experience time with who led a lovely class and showed us town and temples and the neighborhood. Wonderful half day to be a part of a more rural feel
As this was our first meditation/yoga retreat, we did not know what to expect. Amori is a kind, gentle, and knowledgeable guide. Her home/studio is located in a peaceful jungle setting. The sounds were intoxicating. We learned a new perspective of meditation - one that cultivates acceptance and release. The food, prepared by a family member was so incredibly satisfying. We both really enjoyed the visit to Doi Saket. Amori shared with us many interesting facts, traditions, insights on Buddhism. Thank you Amori for sharing your gift with us. Many blessings, Christine and Cory
Amori was amazing! Very knowledgeable, great teacher and taught us everything at a perfect pace. I am a beginner at yoga, so I did not know as much and struggled a little bit, however the meditation was perfect for any skill level. My most favorite part was the cultural immersion and visit to the local temple where I really feel like I learned a lot and was able to appreciate Thailand and the culture.
Amori is an excellent meditation, yoga and cultural immersion teacher. I really enjoyed this unique experience, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The walking meditation and sitting meditation was very calming and just what I needed to switch off my busy mind. The yoga was a good, physical workout and I felt rewarded by the beautifully presented and delicious lunch afterwards! After lunch, Amori took us to two temple locations and gave a us a guided tour and talk about buddhism and the temple rituals. Amori was helpful in organising shared transport to and from my hotel. It was lovely to share a ride with other participants - a way to get to know others and save on transport costs. Thank you Amori, for sharing your knowledge, practice and culture with us. I am inspired by your dedication and Buddhist/Thai culture. It is definitely a fantastic, authentic and meaningful way to learn more about Thailand. Highly recommend!
This was a wonderful introduction to multiple methods of meditation and yoga. The women who runs the retreat is an exceptional person and I learned so much from her. I am grateful I participated in the day. The lunch was also very nice!
This was an excellent experience on my trip to Chiang Mai. Amori was very caring and dedicated in every part of the program. We started the day with a short walk and then continued with meditation, which was very good. She was very committed and helped me with all doubts/difficulties I had in meditating (very practical). We had a very interesting and touching conversations. Then, we had a yoga session, which she guided keeping in mind the level of the attendees. Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious Thai lunch, where we had the opportunity to know more about Thai culture. Finally, we went to the temple, where she explained key aspects of Bhudism. I really enjoyed this tour and appreciate all Amori’s kindness. You can order a taxi on Grab or Maxim to get to the studio.
My friends and I had a wonderful time with Amori. We are all beginners in meditation and Amori was full of insight, guidance and put meaning to the practice. We couldn’t recommend more this experience with Amori, with her patience and kindness!
We (bf and I) had an amazing experience at Flow Yoga. The host was so welcoming and she had a lot of knowledge to share about meditation, buddhism and thai culture in general. Personally for me, both a yoga and meditation session taken place right after each other was a bit too much. Just a meditation lesson for about an hour would be enough together with the lunch, the walk at the rice fields and the visit to the temple. The overall experience was great though. It is a pretty easy place to reach by taxi, arrangable by yourself or by the host and I liked being out of the city for a moment. Also a plus... It's less touristy :).
Experience standing meditation was new for me and pretty fun to talk with the Instructor 😁 and discover around this district.
Amori was a wonderful host. She was extremely friendly and made us feel comfortable right from the start. Her knowledge about yoga and meditation were exceptional. The studio grounds were beautiful and in a peaceful location. Lunch was tasty and beautifully presented. At the end of our relaxing day, Amori took us to the local Wat and shared her knowledge about her culture and Buddhism and how it how relates to meditation. So informative! I highly recommend this experience.
AWESOME way to spend the first half of our day!!!!! Mom, dad and 2 adult kids went. We learned a few meditations, did a yoga class, took a short walk around the neighborhood, visited a very big temple up on a hill which we learned a lot about, and had a lovely lunch there! IT WAS JUST PERFECT!!! I highly recommend it.
A very good experience, part of the meditation inspired a lot of ideas, the temple Amori introduced also gave us a more understanding of Buddhism, a very relaxing journey !
I had such an awesome experience on this retreat. I learned so much about meditation (walking meditation), had a lovely lunch and saw beautiful temples. Amori is so sweet and funny and knowledgeable!!
This was a wonderful experience to practice yoga and meditation in Chiang Mai. Amori was friendly, informative, and passionate about yoga. She personalized the experience for me and went out of her way to tell me about the village. I would highly recommend for yogis of all levels!
Hi, I am from Europe (Poland) and in Jul’23 I was on half day meditation/yoga/temple tour. Everything was very valuable for me, I experienced new things (e.g. walking meditation). Very insightfull was discusion about buddism rules and principles we had during visiting temple. Transfer also can be organized from/to the city. In brief - I HIGHLY recommend visiting this yoga/meditation place.
This experience featuring mediation, yoga, and cultural immersion was exactly what I needed - and each part of the experience exceeded my expectations. Amori is a thoughtful and attentive host, and her retreat center features gorgeous spaces for meditation and yoga as well as outdoor wandering among her fruit trees. Her knowledge and insight as a mediation guide and yoga teacher allowed for a meaningful morning of mindfulness, movement, and breathwork. I learned so much from her, and remembering her meditation guidance even helped me later during a bumpy part of my flight. In addition to her meditation and yoga instruction, Amori provided us with a delicious and beautifully-presented vegetarian lunch. After lunch (and great conversation as a group), Amori guided us on a visit to local temples. At the temples, she taught us about Thai Buddhist customs and the temples themselves. I strongly recommend this wonderful experience for anyone seeking to learn more about meditation or deepen their practice, or for anyone looking for a day of retreat and self-care. Thank you to Amori for this unforgettable experience!
The place is beautiful, like a paradise! The tutor/ host is professional, careing, kind and knowledgeable. It's good to chat and communicate with each other. Meditation made us feel reborn, retreat and refresh. Yoga leaded by her made it easy for us as beginners to follow and relax our minds. I will definitely come here again next time I go to Chiang Mai.
Amori is an incredible host. I went to this experience with my friend, and we truly had a spectacular time. We learned how to meditate with tools that will serve us for a lifetime, practiced yoga, and enjoyed some of the best food we have ever tasted in Thailand (prepared by her mom). This experience allowed us to see Chiang Mai from a different perspective. Highly recommended. Amori also took us to visit some temples nearby, and we got to see the rice fields.
We had a wonderful experience with Amori at her lovely home and meditation retreat. We were greeted by Amori and took a walk to the nearby rice paddies to get a view of the area. Next, we enjoyed two types of meditation (walking, seated). The meditation room is nicely situated amongst nature and was very relaxing as you can hear the birds chirp and it was very clean. Next we practiced yoga in Amori's studio and then had a break for lunch. The lunch was beautifully prepared and was delicious! The area around Amori's house is very nice with trees, artwork, and waterways. She also has a nice room where you can stay for an extended period of time. After lunch we visited a local temple and Amori explained the various traditions and murals on the wall. The temple was beautiful and Amori's explanations helped us better understand the context and culture. Amori lined up transportation for us which was very helpful from downtown Chiang Mai (~30mins away). Overall, we were very happy with our personalized experience and it was a pleasure getting to know Amori and her family!
This experience was a perfect balance between learning about Thai culture, yoga, meditation and some local sightseeing. Amori made sure the yoga and meditation classes were at my level and I felt more at peace and relaxed afterwards. The lunch was delicious and I love the beautiful garden setting for the studio. This experience is a must do.
Amori is incredibly kind and generous and insightful. I had the most memorable day with her. I can't say what my favorite part was because there were too many. The studio and yard are soothing spaces. The meditation impacted me and gave me so much to think about. I am going to continue with it. The lunch was exceptional and was adorned with flowers. It was just lovely. We watched the workers in the rice field across the street. We also went to visit nearby temples and she explained so much to me. I'm forever grateful!
The entire experience was fantastic. Amori was an excellent guide through walking and sitting meditation. The atmosphere and surroundings were beautiful and peaceful and very conducive for achieving a deep meditative state. Amori was a very patient and clear yoga instructor and managed to get me into positions that I never thought possible with my 65 year old body. The home cooked Thai lunch was delicious and would do any god restaurant proud. Lastly, the tour of Doi Saket was inspiring. I whole-heartedly recommend spending this magical half day to all who are interested in yoga, meditation and life!
Amori went above and beyond my expectations when she hosted my family for the half day Yoga retreat. Although she doesn't usually work with kids, she was wonderful with my daughters (10 and 13). It was great to learn about meditation, yoga, visit a local market, the regional temples, have one of our best meals of the trip AND based on our special request, teach us more about Buddhism. Her kindness provided us the exact type of role model I wanted on our trip. I highly recommend the experience.
I have enjoyed my time so much. The meditation and yoga sessions were fantastic. We even had a trip to a temple and learned more about Thai culture!
I have more than one favourite experience at Amori’s family’s centre. Amori is such a blessed, humble, sincere and on and on soul. As soon as she welcomed me and my daughters to her centre, we knew that the day was going to be a bonus one indeed and which it was. She took us around their property, which is so beautiful and peaceful indeed. The plants, statues, buildings and especially that cool boat which is built into their home. She led us in guided meditation and then a yoga session for our half day retreat. We had a fabulous lunch, like no other I have ever had. The presentation alone was enough for me and then the flavours of all we ate…yummy. You can see pictures on their website. This whole half day retreat in Canada/USA would be far more than what we paid at her retreat. Amori took the time to explain all to us and answered all our questions. She took time out after the retreats over to guide us through the beautiful temple which overlooks her centre. She explained every part of the temple and took the time to do so. She totally went above and beyond and we greatly appreciated all that she did. She explained how donations to the temple community worked and what the funds went to. She took us to the local market and bought us yummy treats. We even got to see folks harvesting rice across the road from her home. Not only would I totally recommend Amori’s centre to everyone. I look forward to coming back for a 3 day meditation/yoga retreat. I appreciated that she shared her life experiences with us, as she asked about our lives. She is truly a remarkable woman, with a beautiful family, who have created a peaceful and tranquil centre where they also live and celebrate life in the most humble and beautiful way ever. Thank you Amori and family for the opportunity to experience a small part of your beautiful universe at your centre and home. Peace, Nzenalu
This was a FANTASTIC way to spend the day a peaceful day in Northern Chiang Mai. Amori is absolutely wonderful, patient, caring, and knowledgeable. She lead us through meditative practice that I will continue to implement even when I am home and the yoga session we did was exactly what my body needed! Her home is absolutely stunning and there is so much to see there, along with that where she is a beautiful part of Chiang Mai and a great way to see the culture of this gorgeous area. Her family cooked us a beautiful meal that was very delicious. Amori even took us to the beautiful nearby temple where we learned about traditional Buddhist practices and then to the local market!I was looking forward to this and it did not disappoint at all in fact it exceeded my expectations.
Amori was great! She has a lovely studio and is very accommodating. We started off the day with a 30-minute walking meditation followed by a 30-minute seated meditation with Amori guiding us. Then we did yoga, ate a delicious home-cooked meal, and then she took us to a nearby temple! Very relaxing and informative. Highly recommend.
this was one of my favorite experiences in chiang mai. came here solo, and amori planned two 30 minute guided meditations, a long yoga session, and an amazing thai meal. although that was all amazing, what really stood out were our more impromptu conversations and the personal care and attention she gave throughout the retreat. i can’t recommend this experience enough!
I can highly recommend this amazing place, this place is magical and you can complete switch off your mind, the yoga class is something I definitely do again and I will take a lot of the conversations with me home. We went to the Tempel afterwards and found out a lot about the history and the religion Thank you for this extraordinary experience
Do not pass this experience up if you are visiting Chiang Mai. Amori welcomed us into her home for a half day of yoga and meditation, but she went above and beyond. We did two versions of meditation (seated and walking) and she was open to providing whatever skill level or practice we wanted with yoga. She and her family also cooked us one of the best meals I had while in Thailand. After lunch she took us up to her local temple where she showed us how to properly pay respect to Buddha, the days of the week Buddhas, and Buddha's footprints. By far she is one of my favorite people we met while in Thailand. I wish we would have signed up for a multiple day stay rather than just half day. She also made transportation to and from her home really easy and was lovely enough to offer and take photos throughout the day to send to us later. It was a wonderful and peaceful way to learn more about Thailand and reset after a lot of travel. Thank you Amori for your kindness.
What an amazing expereince! While traveling in Thailand, my cousin and I participated in a half day yoga and meditation session at Flow Yoga. Amori was fantastic. She led us through both walking and sitting meditation, as well as a yoga session focusing on the areas we requested. We enjoyed a delicious home- cooked meal for lunch, and had an opportunity to walk through beautiful rice fields and enjoyed an outing to the beautiful Wat Phra Doi Saket. Amori was an amazing host, it was such a pleasure to meet her and have this opportunity. I highly recommend you add this to your agenda if you are spending any time near Chiang Mai!
Amori was amazing. We had a wonderful time with her as she led us through guided meditations, a yoga session, and showed us round and taught us about the local rice growing, and much more. The delicious lunch we had was cooked by Aomori’s 90 year old mother! Fab day.
This yoga/meditation experience with Amori was amazing! From the moment we walked in she was very attentive and thoughtful. Not only was she very professional and knowledgeable about yoga and meditation, but she was also just such a joy to be around. We got to have lunch and explore rice fields, temples, and markets with her as well. I would recommend anybody take part in this experience
During our stay in Chiang Mai we did a half day meditation- and yoga course at Flow Yoga. Firstly it was in a beautiful place which makes you feel welcome immediately. It was our first time doing this. So we would recommend it for beginners as well! The instructor speaks English very well and is very kind. She adjusts the lessons to your level of experience. It was a fun day besides the yoga and meditation we went to the local market and a beautiful temple nearby. The mother of the instructor does the cooking for the lunch. It was very tasty! We would totally recommend doing this even if this is your first time doing yoga and/or meditation. It was a fun day!
Very good time, full of charm and learning in a beautiful atmosphere. Makes you want to continue meditation
