Exploration is often best on two wheels and ‘Colours of Chiang Mai’ is a four to five hour, depending on our pace, bicycle ride through the southern part of Chiang Mai. Our journey takes us through the city as we learn more about Chiang Mai's rich cultural heritage. The route follows quiet lanes, passing temples and ruins dating back hundreds of years. The journey is broken up with a visit to a school for ethnic minority children and a small pottery workshop where we observe how different types of pottery are produced. We then ride alongside the Mae Ping River and soak up the local atmosphere that makes Chiang Mai so special. Drinking water and a small meal will be provided during the trip.
